“We were invited to the VIP opening and because we absolutely LOVE Firebirds, we went. They definitely did NOT disappoint at all! - The service, the food, the drinks were incredible! (Shout out to Jig for being so attentive and awesome! We returned this weekend for the $19.95 Rib Special they were running for Labor Day Weekend and the food and service were top notch! Firebirds New Albany is a great addition to New Albany and we look forward to being regulars!“

“Neat place. Counter ordering with table delivery. Self serve on soft drinks and water. Food was very good to match the nice atmosphere.
Buddha bowl with chicken was very tasty with a generous portion size. Fish sandwich was very good. Chicken and avocado sandwich also delicious. Both sandwiches were a bit messy to eat, but worth the effort.
Simple salad was heavy on kale but had a lot of flavor and was also good.
Black bean and chicken chili also very good.
Good draft beer selection and friendly service, we will be back.“

“Was able to eat and drink in the restaurant 2 nights in a row. The staff and chef is amazing. We normally stay at the hotel once a year and because of the restaurant experience this weekend we will now make this more than once a year event. I definitely recommend the Ribeye and the chef’s sides.“

“Have been wanting to try this place forever and finally made it in today with my best friend, what a disappointment. Their posted hours show open till 2:30 pm, we arrived at 1:50 (plenty of time for some pancakes and coffee.) The weight staff was in full on cleanup mode and made it Very obvious they were done working for the day with the way we were greeted. I ordered decaf coffee and was told there was none left so decided to have regular and then didn't even get a full cup of that. At $4.99 a pop I need a full cup. I looked at my friend and said "they don't want to wait on us they are annoyed that they are already cleaning up and we came in" she agreed so when the server came back I politely said "we will just elsewhere we can tell you're cleaning up for the day" There was no "oh you are fine, you still have 40 minutes" or anything like that there just " are you sure?" We left and headed down the street to Delaney's Diner who would also be closing in about an hour at 3 PM but a TOTALLY different vibe. Greeted with a smile from the person at the hostess stand and 2 of the chefs even looked over and smiled and said welcome come on in! We looked at each other and said much better, we are definitely in the right place now. I've heard nothing but good things about the pancakes at the Pancake House I only wish I would have got to experience them But being treated well is more important to me than food. I understand wanting to be done work for the day believe me but it wasn't like we walked in with 3 minutes till closing. Oh well 🤷‍♀️“

“LOVE First Watch restaurants and this one did not disappoint. No wait today which was perfect. A little noisy with the music but as people left, the volume reduced a bit. The Trifecta with Lemon Ricotta pancakes was delicious as per usual. So was the Kale Tonic. My friend loved her Avocado Toast with Smoked Salmon. We both love how they bring coffee out and leave a coffee carafe at the table. Also plenty of extra napkins without having to ask. Server was genuinely cheery and uplifting. As we dined, she checked in, but not unnecessarily. It was just a terrific experience all the way around, especially once the sound dropped just a bit.“

“Mom and I went for lunch yesterday and both ended up having breakfast! She got the buttermilk pancakes and I ordered the special pumpkin pancakes with cinnamon butter and tres leches drizzle. Mom loved hers and my was fabulous. I also had two links of sausage that were better than your usual mass made, which made me wonder if they get it directly from a butcher. The iced tea was also fresh and good.“

“Food is good. Fresh. Good portions to price. Service was good. Very attentive staff. So.etimes it takes a few minutes for staff to notice you when you first come in so it takes awhile to be seated. There isn't someone manning the front desk consistently.“

“The onion rings and bbq chicken nachos were great. The french fries were so hard they wouldn't bend. They took them off the bill. We saw a lot of plates as we were leaving with all their french fries left on them. Burger were good.“

“Our first time eating here, we enjoyed our meals and the ser ice was very good. Our server Preston was very nice and recommended to my wife to order from kids menu to get a single patty burger, it was still a pretty big burger. The fries were fresh hot and many, I had the tots, they were OK but I liked the fries better. Fish and chips very good, a large piece of breaded fish well seasoned. Over all I would give them a very good rating.“

“Had a lady and I think her sister besides me trying to cause unnecessary drama with an older lady and her older mother, it was a bit disturbing how somebody so young could be so disrespectful to our elderly for no reason other than the younger lady and her sister not minding their own business. I'm glad the conflict was was over very quickly do to the older lady just ignoring the drama seeking sisters.“
