“I was looking for a good place to try afternoon tea and stumbled upon this restaurant. Asterisk has a very nice ambiance, with a dark academia look using books as menus and different pattern tea ware. You do not need a reservation to come here because there is a large shared table in the middle, but it is recommended for a smaller private table. The seats at the large table are very close together and personally do not want to be bumping elbows while I eat. The afternoon tea service was a joy. You can pick as many teas as you like and choose from a variety of finger sandwiches. The service is very good and the servers will explain anything on their menu that you need. The dinner menu has very nice options, but I was not entirely impressed with the flavor. I mainly come here for the atmosphere, but the food isn't terrible, just not amazing. I still recommend this place for an intimate meal or a joyful tea time.Vegetarian options: There are some vegetarian options.Parking: There are parking lots a couple blocks away or street parking if available.Kid-friendliness: It is more of an adult atmosphere.“
“4.5 . First visit, really good experience. Surprisingly diverse menu, for "pub" food. Cubano & fish tacos were both very good, well prepared. Service was outstanding, relaxed & professional. Nice tap list. Inviting space. Only thing slightly off were the sides. Undercooked fries & mushy corn in the street corn salad. But highly recommend, overall.“
“Absolutely wonderful! I've had their baked treats at functions and parties but today was my first trip inside. Classic & nostalgic. The staff were so friendly and happy about my excitement. Beautiful wedding cakes being made alongside breads and cookies, doughnuts and eclairs. Support local and stop by and consider them for your next party. ( not pictured was the blueberry doughnut I must've misplaced lol )“
“I have a soft spot in my heart for Eggs Benedict. If it’s on the menu at a restaurant I haven’t been to before, I have to order it.The serving size is excellent. They give you a lot of food. Ask for the homemade hot sauce, it’s legit. The Eggs Benedict is ok. The sauce needs more acidity - add more lemon! It’s smooth and buttery but under seasoned. My daughter had the Big Bite and enjoyed it. It’s a good portion of food. The buttered toast is delicious.Overall, the hash browns needed seasoning. I had them add onions and cheese to the hash browns. I think a little cook on the onions would have made them perfect. It’s someplace I would return to but I’d try something different. The service was excellent. Our waitress was kind.“
“This place exudes absolute class. The service was exceptional, and the food was truly outstanding. Their use of fresh Ohio ingredients truly makes a world of difference. The open, clean grill and spotless dining room added to the inviting atmosphere. The coffee was piping hot and freshly brewed, and the eggs were cooked to perfection—light and fluffy. The biscuits, split and butter-grilled before being smothered, showcased their attention to detail. And to top it off, their homemade mild chorizo was absolutely delicious! I left very happy indeed.“
“If I could give the food six stars, I would. I am often disappointed when eating out. I ordered eggs benedict and the bread was perfectly toasty textured and the hollandaise was delightful. Someone in that kitchen understands and cares about what they create.“
“I loved this restaurant! I have a very sensitive stomach and loved the sweet potato hash and orange juice. The atmosphere was so peaceful outside. The staff were so nice. My husband did not love the biscuits and gravy, it is not traditional. He would give the food 1 star, lol. Maybe we can come back for my birthday. :)“
“I have been looking for a good pizza since moving north from Clintonville and I have finally found it! I judge on pepperoni pizzas - it was thin, crispy and the pepperoni was perfectly cooked! Will drive to Westerville from Delaware Alum Creek area anytime! Also loved the Boneless Wings - very little breading and quality chicken.“
“The food is top notch and delicious, tastes like everything is freshly made daily, The Eye opener scrambled eggs, & the Avocado omelette are the best and huge quantity to start your day. I felt the hash browns was very plan, but with the freshly made Salsa it was too good. Overall best place to start your day with good food & friendly customer service.“
“Just had there Chicken Pesto Panini, it was really good. The servings are very generous and the waitress was very nice. I had not been in over 2 years, but prior had wished they allowed dogs in there outdoor area. Not sure if they allow it now, but would be nice. It's got wonderful atmosphere for what I think is a nice local place.“
“Brought my whole family here thought to try something new. Was greeted on entry by the manager. He was very friendly and super helpful. Restaurant was clean and had a good atmosphere. The Brisket sandwich was great. My kids got the ribs and those were awesome as well. Would definitely recommend.“
“Really good burgers and great salads. I do have to agree with some of the other reviews on the onion rings, there was a little too much breading which caused them to be a little too soggy. But it’s a burger place and the burger I got was delicious, would definitely go again for the burgers.“
“We had a large party and where easily accommodated by we did call ahead just to be sure. I thought the prices where very reasonable.Parking: Plenty of parking and you enter and exit at a lightKid-friendliness: There where alot of kids there a very family friendly atmosphereWheelchair accessibility: I think so.“
“The food here is exceptional. People I go with love the wraps and grilled cheese. And get the Street Fries. But the wings are the star of the show for me. Big and crispy, and some really great and interesting sauces. Their mango habenero is really good, but the Scotch Bonnet BBQ is my new favorite. It tastes like a campfire with some spice, in a good way. Spicy and smoky, and delicious.“
“I booked a table here based on some of the pictures I saw online. I thought I was booking a nice romantic spot. Not so much. We didn't want to sit over by the bar where there was a tv so asked to be put over by the window. Thought it would be quiet but turned out there must have been hockey regionals this weekend. Children running through and not quite the dining experience I wanted. Most of the food was good. The scallops were phenomenal with the risotto and spinach. My husband's steak was great except both of his sides were COLD. Not lukewarm but cold. Our server was amazing and took care of it and brought hot fries out for him. He also had broccolini as a side which looked like it had been cooked last week and just thrown in the dish. The dessert was ok. The hazelnut bread pudding was kind of dry and lukewarm although it was still acceptable. I have to say again that our server was amazing ( I'm sorry I forgot her name) Based on her service I would go back knowing now what to expect.“
“Classic diner in Westerville. I wanted a turkey Rueben. It was better than most that I’ve had. My husband had a turkey club that he enjoyed. We shared an order of onion rings that was excellent! The Cole slaw was creamy and a bit sweet. The young man that was our server was attentive. All in all a good diner experience!“
“We are passing through on our way back to Michigan from Florida and we are lucky enough to have come across Uptown Deli and Brew, the best food stop we have made! And easily now my favorite restaurant and bar in Ohio. The menu sounds simple when you see it is a sandwich shop, yet the food and drink menu both have gourmet features. The atmosphere and decor was entertaining and the staff was very friendly and helpful. My wife and I highly recommend!“
“Great bartender. Place just too dark and depressing. Also, when ordering food. Horrible customer service. Was very disappointed in their attitude. didn't change when I picked it up. And they want a tip? Hope she didn't cook my food. Not on list to try again. Ugh. Pizza that “
“A hidden gem! As soon as you walk in the door, you are welcomed. The decor is so warm, cozy and inviting; a little taste of wine country. The wine and food is excellent. I've been here for happy hour/dinner and most recently lunch. The appetizers and meals have been consistently delicious. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable on the wines and menu items. Excellent service and reasonable prices. We will definitely be back!“
“My family and I were in Columbus visiting friends and looking for a place to eat dinner. We came across Time and Change and had a great experience. Traci was our server and she was so accommodating to our toddler. She brought her dinner out even before our own entrees so our hangry toddler could start eating asap.Music wasn't too loud, but we could tell it would be a great hangout to watch The Buckeyes when they're playing. Looks like they do trivia nights too.The owners even came out and talked with us as one point. Sounds like they just purchased the restaurant and are working hard at make some changes for the better, including rolling out a new menu. The wings were AWESOME. They mentioned they are bringing out some new sauce flavors soon. Will definitely visit again next time we're in town!“
“The food was very good. I got the boneless chicken breast with the Holy"#+@*%?" heat level and was not disappointed. That level of heat is not for anyone who doesn't want to lose feeling in their face, lol. They have everything from regular no heat up to the highest level, "Unholy"!! I won't even consider trying the "Unholy" as the "Holy" was incredibly hot and the highest I ever need to go. I've been to other "hot" chicken restaurants in the central Ohio area and was unpleasantly let down. They just lacked the heat I'm looking for, the portions were small, the price was high, and the taste was lacking. Hot Chicken Takeover was everything that the others were not. The portions were great and the price was good too. I have found my Hot Chicken restaurant in central Ohio and will be returning soon.“
“Adriana is the best at customer service. Very friendly, fast and very attentive to the client's needs. It's a shame that she is not from that town but from another because I really liked her treatment. The food was very delicious and they didn't take long to serve it.“
“Waiters recommendations were great!Service was great.Atmosphere was quiet.Vegetarian options: T-F all you can eat soup/saladI had beef barley soup...so much beef=Filling!Parking: Hidden behind businesses east of Meijer @ 3C and Polaris PkwyWheelchair accessibility: Lots of free-standing tablesTherefore lots of wheelchair adaptable spaces“
“I must say Delaney's Diner is in my top 5 list of all time favorite breakfast. The food is always good and the service is always 10/10. I wanted to stop in and get some breakfast and it truly made my day. Again the food is always fresh and the people are nice. Even though they stay packed they try their best to get people seated in a reasonable time. I alway get the big breakfast sandwich with hash browns and a pancake! If you are looking for a sign to try this place. Take this as your sign!! You won’t be disappointed. I look forward to going back and trying some of their lunch options.“
