“This place is a must — trust me! I’ll start with the steak. My ribeye was cooked to perfection, and the quality of the meat was top-notch. I’ve been to steakhouses all over Ohio at every price point, and this steak was absolutely comparable. A+.
The Brussels sprouts hit the spot too! I loved that they weren’t covered in balsamic or overloaded with salt like so many restaurants do these days. Another A+.

Some people say you can’t mess up a sweet potato — and while I’ll admit it’s difficult, I disagree because I’ve had plenty I left behind. This one didn’t stand a chance once I hit it with butter and brown sugar. Yet another A+.

The establishment itself is beautiful and spotless, and the service was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely helpful. I typically dine in Columbus, where sometimes it feels like your presence is an inconvenience, so the hospitality here was the cherry on top.

“This was a great last minute addition to a wonderful trip to the Groovy Plant Ranch. If you are in the area its must. Then head over to the Firehouse Tavern for a cozy vibe with awesome food. The atmosphere was the perfect end to a phenomenal day.“

“I had heard good things so I took my GF for a date night to Firebirds. We showed up to our reservation and it was busy, but we didn’t wait long. The atmosphere was great, the place had a great vibe, and our service was excellent. We both ordered their 3 course special and our favorite part was the brownie sundae! Also I hate deviled eggs and tolerated them…my gf loves deviled eggs and was obsessed! The steak and sides were good but the steak was on the crispy side. Still loved it!“

“Have been wanting to try this place forever and finally made it in today with my best friend, what a disappointment. Their posted hours show open till 2:30 pm, we arrived at 1:50 (plenty of time for some pancakes and coffee.) The weight staff was in full on cleanup mode and made it Very obvious they were done working for the day with the way we were greeted. I ordered decaf coffee and was told there was none left so decided to have regular and then didn't even get a full cup of that. At $4.99 a pop I need a full cup. I looked at my friend and said "they don't want to wait on us they are annoyed that they are already cleaning up and we came in" she agreed so when the server came back I politely said "we will just elsewhere we can tell you're cleaning up for the day" There was no "oh you are fine, you still have 40 minutes" or anything like that there just " are you sure?" We left and headed down the street to Delaney's Diner who would also be closing in about an hour at 3 PM but a TOTALLY different vibe. Greeted with a smile from the person at the hostess stand and 2 of the chefs even looked over and smiled and said welcome come on in! We looked at each other and said much better, we are definitely in the right place now. I've heard nothing but good things about the pancakes at the Pancake House I only wish I would have got to experience them But being treated well is more important to me than food. I understand wanting to be done work for the day believe me but it wasn't like we walked in with 3 minutes till closing. Oh well 🤷‍♀️“

“We are regulars here. The staff are friendly and hard working. Not afraid to have a conversation with you and they will make your order right without issue. They have other locations but we prefer this location based upon the employees we encounter and the food being so on point.“

“When I first arrived at this Quaker Steak & Lube location, it honestly looked very run down and didn’t even appear to be open for business. I had to get out of my car to double-check that the doors were unlocked, which was a little confusing.
Once inside, though, my experience improved a lot. After being seated and ordering, the service was excellent—very polite staff and impressively quick service. The food was delicious, especially considering it was lunchtime, and the restaurant wasn’t very busy at that time. I would definitely recommend coming during lunch hours.
The main reason for the 4-star rating is the appearance and lack of clear signage. I’d strongly suggest the owner add visible “Open/Closed” signs, update the hours online, and post operating hours clearly on the doors. That would make a huge difference for first-time customers.

“The food is standard first watch food. Nothing there was over the top except the service!! Exactly what I want from service from every restaurant. A few stop bys to check in and friendly with no attitude. Going the extra mile to give children the option to feel normal and not just asking the adults what the kids want or need. 94% on the over-all mostly from employees.“

“The food was good but surprisingly overly seasoned. I'm relatively sensitive to spiciness, And my sandwich was surprisingly so spicy it was inedible - I couldn't taste anything but fire. I did enjoy the bread, it was crunchy and flavorful.
My wife enjoyed her roasty sandwich but felt it was very salty.

My potato side was perfect.

“If you want good BBQ, this is the place to come. The restaurant is always clean when I come in, and the staff is one of the most friendly of any fast casual eateries. The BBQ flavor is the best I have had in Ohio. I love getting their chicken leg with the spicy bbq sauce or the loco bbq sauce. Don’t forget about the Texas toast. My son and I have a big birthday coming up and getting catering here as it is a crowd favorite among our friend.“

“First time here coming to see a friend's band play. Leaving this review specifically to mention that the service was excellent! I've been to a lot of establishments like this in the past, but this was the first one where the servers (sorry if that's not the right term) were regularly checking on us AT OUR TABLE to make sure we had everything we needed. The only time we needed to get something at the bar was when we first arrived.

I ordered the spicy garlic wings there and they were PERFECTLY cooked and sauced! The only reason I couldn't eat them all was because I ordered too many! The live show sounded good as well (clear audio and not overly loud) and their lighting setup was one if the best I've seen locally.

Our server Preston was very nice and recommended to my wife to order from kids menu to get a single patty burger, it was still a pretty big burger. The fries were fresh hot and many, I had the tots, they were OK but I liked the fries better. Fish and chips very good, a large piece of breaded fish well seasoned.
