I was looking for a good place to try afternoon tea and stumbled upon this restaurant. Asterisk has a very nice ambiance, with a dark academia look using books as menus and different pattern tea ware. You do not need a reservation to come here because there is a large shared table in the middle, but it is recommended for a smaller private table. The seats at the large table are very close together and personally do not want to be bumping elbows while I eat. The afternoon tea service was a joy. You can pick as many teas as you like and choose from a variety of finger sandwiches. The service is very good and the servers will explain anything on their menu that you need. The dinner menu has very nice options, but I was not entirely impressed with the flavor. I mainly come here for the atmosphere, but the food isn't terrible, just not amazing. I still recommend this place for an intimate meal or a joyful tea time.Vegetarian options: There are some vegetarian options.Parking: There are parking lots a couple blocks away or street parking if available.Kid-friendliness: It is more of an adult atmosphere.

A true gem in Uptown Westerville. We’ve been coming here since before everyone else discovered the awesomeness. The most delicious, and unique, handcrafted cocktails - made by the friendliest and very knowledgeable bartenders. The staff at Asterisk is always top notch.The food is so delicious, with good ole classics like meatloaf and chicken & noodles, with other fun and unique dishes. We just had the lemongrass and chicken potstickers tonight. My husband said it might be the best thing he’s ever eaten.Do yourself a favor and check out Asterisk. You won’t be disappointed!

My husband accompanied me on a weekend get away for work and through word of mouth I was told about this place. I am a tea lover and that is why we made this stop. What we got was so much more! We ended up getting recommendations From Micah (an amazing staff member) on some tasty dishes and they by far exceeded our expectations. Everything from the vibe, food, staff, recommendations, everything was amazing! I can't say how great the staff is enough! Micah and Derek were amazing and we can't wait to go back. So glad we stopped in. We also had seen someone having a smoked old fashion and that was fun to watch them make and was amazing. Thank you Micah and Derek for making our visit incredible. We will be back.

This was my first time visiting the Asterisk Supper Club. The afternoon tea service was good. Tea pleasantly hot, cuber sugar dish and the milk. Cute little spoons just to ensure the sugar cube melts. Tea sandwiches were delightful, salads were small but perfect for the full afternoon tea. The scones were good with the house-made jam and clotted cream. To end with the desserts was just enough.The only, and major drawback for me was the sound level. I couldn't hear the music most of the time over the loud conversations throughout the restaurant. My table fell back on texting each other rather than adding to the noise level. And one member of the table went back to the car to get earplugs just to sit for tea.So, Go and enjoy but be prepared for your conversation to be limited and hard to hear.Parking: In Uptown Westerville, you already know that parking is at a premium. I parked behind the restaurant in the public lot. There is an ally you can use to walk from the lot to the front of the restaurant.

The afternoon tea service at Asterisk Supper Club was simply delightful! The variety of tea and the china used to serve them were interesting and fun. The tea sandwiches, scones, and desserts were all delectable and the service was stellar. The atmosphere is cozy and elegant without being pretentious. It's also nice that their full menu is also available and my husband got the famous chicken sandwich which he said was delicious. This place is truly a gem and definitely a must try!

My friends and I love Asterisk for a girls day!! The tea is amazing, my favorite is the jasmine and blue bell. This would be the perfect atmosphere for a bridal shower or baby shower. The staff is always friendly and stumped helpful!

Fully aware that it’s bougie to have a favorite tea house to do fancy tea at, but this is it. The tiny tea sandwiches, the little desserts- beautiful and so good! The tea choices are great here and I love the cream and sugar, which I never do at home so it feels extra luxurious here. ? Just highly recommend coming here for the tea service with someone, it’s so much fun. We also liked looking at the books on the shelves and the little knick knacks.Wheelchair accessibility: The aisles are very narrow and the tables are packed in here- if you’re an adult using a manual chair and can be nimble, no problem. Powerchair users will have a lot more issues in this space- it is not set up for great accessibility, especially getting from the entrance to the bathroom.

Delicious tea and tea foods. The bread was a bit dry for the tea sandwiches and needed a bit more condiment. Would have rather had more small bite desserts than heavy scones. We had a large group and the service was excellent and attentive. The restaurant was super busy on a Sunday afternoon.

I can’t even say that the customer service was bad, there was none. Took forever to get our food and the waitress kept schooling us on what we should have done. We could not get their tea service because they didn’t know we were going to be there and they said we had to give up our table in less than 2 hours even though we had to wait a very long time to get served. The restaurant was extremely noisy and you could not hear the person sitting next to you! One of the worst dining experiences ever! Never again!
