I've been going to China House for over 30 years and always could depend on consistently delicious food. A few years ago, they took Wor Dip Har off their menu, which was my favorite. Now they've stopped making Shrimp and Lobster sauce correctly, which is supposed to have chopped pork in the sauce. Tonight I got something that looked more like egg drop soup with shrimp and frozen peas and carrots. Some of the more inexpensive, take-out only Chinese restaurants make it that way. That's why I don't go to them! So very disappointed in China House tonight. I think original owners Mr. and Mrs. Lee would be ashamed.

This is no longer the China House I grew up with. Stop serving cans of soda. Bring back the flat noodles in the won ton soup and make the egg rolls and crab rangoon fresh. The serving size has gotten too small.

I ordered Mongolian chicken with fried rice and an egg roll from China House on Westerville Rd., and I was very disappointed. The fried rice was incredibly dry, and the chicken was unappetizing. I tried to give the meal a chance, but it was so unpleasant that I couldn’t finish it and ended up throwing the rest away. If you enjoy good Chinese food, I recommend looking elsewhere.

When I came back in after my lunch I had asked for a side of hot oil. Guy did not understand, I told him I did not need to order and just needed the hot oil for my food I had just purchased. He said he didn’t understand so I said hot sauce, “do you guys not have hot sauce” he blantly said “I do not understand” and went to the door behind counter and left me appalled. Quite aggravated i didn’t get hot oil with my food. Next time I’ll return my food

My husband and I have been ordering take out at China House Westerville Road for almost a decade. Mala Chicken plus Beef extra spicy with fried rice and Sesame Chicken with fried rice and steamed dumplings with extra sauce. Tonight 9/26/24 we ordered our usual after about a month and a half since we were able to get it. See, we moved to the Northwest side of town and it was a bit of a trek to go get it but when you love good food you got to go. Well they have changed ownership and somehow my food was overcooked and undercooked and my husbands food was just dry and blain even though it was covered in sauce. We sought a refund and an explanation but only got an explanation. Because they are under new management the food is now not fit for human consumption! Plus they refused a refund because when I called to ask for a refund they said that they would if we came back in but they didn’t ask for the food back. I threw it into the garbage where it belongs.

Today September 5th around 8:30pm just bought a fried rice and spicy chicken. They gave me chicken fried rice and the chicken wasn’t spicy at all. Also the food tasted like old food or leftover food. Tasted so bad that I couldn’t eat it all and throw it away . What a waste of money( 22 dollars). I will never never never buy from this place again. ?????

I'm a pescatarian. I found meat in my shrimp in broccoli! I haven't had meat in over 2 decades, I nearly puked everything out. I will never come back
