The manager needs to be fired! Hosted a business happy hour where we called several days prior. The poor servers and bar tenders are so under staffed that they are overwhelmed. The drinks are a joke! 85% ice and you might get 2-3 sips and it's gone. Also came specifically to watch the NCAA day 1 of the tournament and their TV's constantly lost signal and there was no weather issue. Overall this place is a $hitshow!

I've been going there for many years.I have notice on tues.1 bar tender overly busy, music with a guy who does play frequently sucks ,the others who try to be musicians not the best either.Iam afraid this is going to hurt this place.Nice place for all neighbors but need to improve this bar it's a few bars close by to have fun.Food is good,some workers need to eat behind the scene not in front of you then wait on you? I hope this will change a few things.

I’ve been a pretty frequent flyer of Double Barrel for some time now. It never disappoints. The service is always great, everyone is always friendly, they always have stuff going on, and no matter what they always go above and beyond. Hannah, the bar manager, always exceeds expectations and I always hear how much other customers and employees appreciate her. Double Barrel is very lucky to have such an awesome bar manager! Keep up the great work. Best place in New Albany to come for some good food and drinks!

Haven't been in for two years. The bartender was working hard with good service and totally friendly. An employee was standing at the end of the bar eating the whole we were there; doing absolutely nothing. Clean the bathroom? The women's restroom was filthy as in the sink faucets dirty, soap squirts in your face and no one has wiped the top of the garbage can in years. This place has gone downhill. Not coming back. Gross!

Overall I’m a fan . The service has always been fast and friendly. Food has been pretty good with good portion sizes. Also happy with the beer and whiskey selection! I will be visiting again soon!The only complaint I have is the noise. I’m not sure why, maybe how it’s built? but when the place has a decent number of customers it gets loud. I have had times when it’s been difficult to hold a conversation but then again maybe it’s me. Either way I will be going back soon!

Right next to our house, and we drive by it every day with my husband saying "one day we'll check that out." FINALLY went for it...great spot! Love the old school bar vibes, great menu with fair prices and great service! Told my husband this has to be a new spot for us. We'll be back!
