Order 1 southern wing and 4 warm wings directly from website, they got my order wrong giving me 5 Southern, so I called up the store and spoke to a Nick who said I can come back later to get my correct order. I have been calling the store everyday for two weeks to place the order cause I will have to pay again if I go through the website. Each time I call, no answer. I work in the area so I don't have time to go in the store, order and wait, I have to pickup and go and get back in just enough time to eat. SMH guess I'll keep calling them.

The food was very good. I got the boneless chicken breast with the Holy"#+@*%?" heat level and was not disappointed. That level of heat is not for anyone who doesn't want to lose feeling in their face, lol. They have everything from regular no heat up to the highest level, "Unholy"!! I won't even consider trying the "Unholy" as the "Holy" was incredibly hot and the highest I ever need to go. I've been to other "hot" chicken restaurants in the central Ohio area and was unpleasantly let down. They just lacked the heat I'm looking for, the portions were small, the price was high, and the taste was lacking. Hot Chicken Takeover was everything that the others were not. The portions were great and the price was good too. I have found my Hot Chicken restaurant in central Ohio and will be returning soon.

The food was pretty good and you get a good amount of food for the price. You'll be tempted to get the waffles but I could have passed on them. Waffle fries and nuggets were great! I got the hot spicy level and it wasn't too hot, but I like spicy food. Overall, I liked it and would come back.

When it was in the short North this place was the best chicken in the freaking town. But once I got taken over like everything gets taken over and went downhill they stopped serving free sweet tea the food's not as good as it used to be. Shane big corporations have to tear things up.

We were in Columbus for a competition and decided to go someplace quick since it was Saturday night. There weren’t many people there. It took almost half an hour to get our food. Our fries were cold and the chicken nuggets were extremely dry. We just got a halfhearted “sorry for your wait.” I was going to take the food back up but we figured it would be another hour for anything to be made. The employees were way more concerned with the drive thru customers than the people in the restaurant. By the time we left, only one other person had received their food but at least 5 had come past the window. We won’t be back.
Love this location! My order is always correct, with fast and friendly service. Super clean restaurant, too!
