Local Cantina Westerville

First timers here. The skillet/bowl menu info was a bit hard to understand without server input. Salsa and chips are self serve and were mediocre. Ordered Queso for the table and it was good. We ordered bowl skillets and did not know why you would want to add up to 4 toppings until we got the food. Base item could be rice, salad or fries. Not sure why fries is an option but it is. Rice was a sticky rice and could have used some more sauce or toppings which I did not get as I felt I was rebuilding a transmission to get a bowl. Not crowded when we went at 2pm on a Sunday. Chicken was great, beef was not. If you pay with cash, there is a discount and no trace that you were ever there. We would go there again with knowledge of the Pandora bowl dish. Think it would be better with their chicken, rice, a bit of soy and some peppers.

We've gotten Local Cantina many times because it's not even 5 minutes from our house. We've always been happy with them. I always get their chimichanga. Unfortunately they've changed how they make them. The worst part is their red chimichurri sauce. Their green
chimichurri was delicious. Their red chimichurri is horrible and so hot it made the chimichanga inedible. Their new way of making chimichanga is about 80% wrap and very little meat. They also used to give you a side container of queso which is delicious but now they drizzle it on top UNDER the red chimichurri. I hate the changes they've made and we've decided to go to Las Margaritas where the food is consistently good and we don't worry about changes made to dishes without noting changes on the menu.

Ordered delivery. Their delivery service did not even deliver the food from their restaurant. And it was late on top of all of that. The restaurant picks the delivery service so this totally falls on them for picking such an unreliable service.

If you enjoy the lackluster sensation of unseasoned food, then this place is for you!

The cauliflower app tasted like the cauliflower was freezer burnt and cold; the queso was cold; the kids meal, well my kid ate it without complaint; the two fried potato tacos I ordered were dry and flavorless.

We arrived around 6pm ( wasn't greeted by anyone, another table customers had to tell us to seat ourselves). We left a little after 8pm ( too long for tacos, especially when the restaurant wasn't packed).

Also noting that I filled out a survey with my feedback and received a text response asking for more information. I relayed the above complaints accordingly. There was absolutely no response on their end afterward. Not an apology, a “please give us another shot”, nothing.

10/10, I do NOT recommend.

The food is delicious and the customer service is probably one of the best I’ve experienced.

Very good food at a reasonable price. 1st time, but we WILL be back.

The food was good. I did get told we had 30 minutes to order before the kitchen stopped taking orders.

Asked to buy a bottle of one of their store picks and was told I'd have to pay by the pour and no discount. Was disappointed, but I understand why.

Went to the cantina in Westerville and was disappointed with the wait time for food. Took 45 minutes to receive our dinner. People that came in after us got served first. Asked the waiter and he manager come over; told him what was going on and he said they had a lot of takeout. Shouldn’t people sorted get first priority. Finally got our food and waiter asked if we needed anything else and I said yes. We need utensils to eat. Will not be back again!!!!
