I will not go back since the original owner is no longer there. Everything has changed and it is nowhere near as good. As I understand it the two partners were childhood best friends and went into business together. I have been going there for two years regularly and the owner, Michael Martiny, was always there, always the one dping the cooking and serving the food. I never saw the other partner. Now he has shown up and Mr. Martiny, whose name is on the sign, is gone. Sad.

We traveled 5 hours to this spot from Louisville, KY and boy was it worth it! EVERYTHING pictured was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. I put 3 starts for service because we did arrive an hour before close on a Sunday. At 1st I thought the guy just had a long day and was short with us, but after tallomg to him, he was really nice. I saw the reaction of a couple of locals to his short and direct answers as well. I just want that to be noted, so you're prepared. Know that he is not being rude. He's just hard working and direct. We will return for some beef ribs and to try the green beans!

We finally had a chance to stop here to try some barbeque that isn't from City Barbeque. We stopped and ordered burnt ends, ribs, brisket, and a side of mac and cheese to share. The portions sizes and food were both good. The reason I didn't award 4 or 5 stars was because of 2 reasons. #1 The place seemed dirty. The trash was overflowing so we were forced to play trash jenga. We were the only customers so there was time to empty the trash and tidy up the place. #2 The one person working came off as a little grumpy. Maybe he's not outgoing, or was tired from running the resteraunt by himself, or maybe he was just having a bad day. Who knows, but this did make our first visit feel a bit awkward at first. I will say that he did check on us a couple of times after we started to eat which did help improve our overall experience. In closing, the food is legit. I feel the barbeque is on par or maybe better then City Barbeque. The cleanliness and service issue mentioned above are probably an isolated incident so I will definitely go back to try again.

Ordered delivery family meal package for 3-5 ppl for $100 but they forget to include buns & pickles. Can’t make sandwiches w/o buns. I called & they said they’d forgot to send them and said that he’d give me buns next time I come by. Doesn’t really help make pulled pork sandwiches today. When I spend $100 for a family meal- it’s be nice to get everything needed to make the sandwiches.

One of the best local bbq spot. The ribs are fall off the bones good and the Mac n cheese is ridiculously delicious. We brought these over for a family function and it was such a hit. Thank you for what you guys do!
We were on a road trip from across the country and stopped here to try some local BBQ. The food was absolutely delicious, we loved the cozy log cabin setting, and felt very welcome by the great service! Will definitely come again if we are in the area again. 😋

I’m so mad that this place isn’t more popular. BBQ city is complete crap compared to this place!!! We got brisket and pulled pork w/ side of Mac and cheese. WOW. Let me just start off by saying… the brisket cooked perfectly, perfection! Most flavorful pulled pork we’ve had in a while! The Mac and cheese? Oh did you want real homemade Mac and cheese? Cuz this is it!!!!! Wow. We’ll be coming back again. 10/10. Amazing! Will be recommending to everyone I know! Thank you for the amazing food.
