The Mid River Mall location is closed. This was a 5 star restaurant, great food good portions, excellent service.

I had to wait basically a long time to get my food. I stopped going there for 4 years and because the service was horrible I won't go back now at all because the food is poor quality. The affordable burger prices is not worth it or the tortilla soup.

Was last here in 2017... I will always love max and Erma's. I think it was the flat iron steak that I had... It was surprisingly awesome. The restaurant had a musty carpet smell to it throughout, but the food and service were great. If it was renovated it would be 5 stars. I hope they keep it going for the long term as I'd love to return.

Definitely not what it used to be. Fort the past year or two, every time I have been there, the service seems to get progressively worse. This time I got a bowl of tortilla soup. Hard to go wrong there. I also got the fish tacos. They were super rubbery and bland. Both my kids ordered burgers medium well, both of which were still mooing when they came out. I asked for a few napkins that literally took~20 minutes to arrive... All around, super bummed.

The quality of food here has definitely declined. Food is a lot more greasy and lower quality. They also have taken some of their best dishes off the menu.

Out to lunch with our granddaughters at Max & Erma's. We were greeted and seated quickly. Our server Lindsay did a great job very prompt, polite and friendly. We all enjoyed our lunch as we usually do together 😊

Not a good experience, at all. I think our waiter thought we couldn't afford to eat here.🤔 After working outside in the heat all day, we had to share a drink because my husband finished his drink right away and we weren't asked if we would like a refill until we we're about to leave. (We put the empty glass on the side of table too). I got my soup loooong before my husband got his salad so we couldn't eat together. Then, our "build-a-burger" had completely different toppings than we asked for. Here's the jist: we are construction workers. He was more worried about the people next to us whom he perceived had more money than we did, which is neither here nor there (even though I'm sure it was very far from true). When I asked for asparagus, he told me it was going to cost extra. Just please get me what I asked for. Is it a common occurrence to tell customers how much the items cost on the menu as you order? I get asparagus every time I eat here and have never been told that. I can read, thanks. We are some of the best tippers in town because we respect services workers so he missed out...big time.

Waited 15 mins after being seated to be acknowledged by anyone, only when we asked did we get attention. I ordered a med rare burger daughters WELL all came med rare(pink) fries pretty much to crispy and dry to eat.. NO MORE..

We had a new waiter (second day) who was great once he figured out we were in his section. We waited 20 minutes just to get acknowleged, then 30 minutes for our food after ordering. The food & portions were good. We'll be back. Corporate just needs better wait staff training.

Food was above average. Everything on the sandwich portion of the menu says with unlimited seasoned fries, unfortunately the fries were not seasoned at all. The parmesan garlic skewered mozzarella bites were very well, but there was no taste of garlic on it. Food was served in a timely manner. Only because the server took the order, but someone else delivered it. The server obviously had too big of a section. It was hard to get refills on drinks. He didn't clean the tables off properly. Had to move the dishes out of the way to eat dessert. But we had to remind him that we were going to have dessert. Friends had the chocolate cake alamode and the fondant was overly thick. The petite bites on the deserts, the key lime was very good highly recommended.
