Ray Ray's Hog Pit Westerville

Have been a customer of Ray Rays since they had a building off of Cleveland Ave north of 161. Wife and I just purchased a pound of rib tips. Upon arriving home, opened the container to find 6 small rib tips. No way did this constitute a pound. Normally received 12-13 tips.

Greatest barbecue around!! We only had carry out but it was scrumptious! We had ribs, brisket & pulled pork & it melted in our mouths!

Sausage link and jerk chicken are my favorites. Great taste, excellent drive thru service with a smile. Love all of Ray Rays locations. Just down home good BBQ.

The only real BBQ in Ohio… the meat is seasoned and smoked to perfection. The greens and mac and cheese are amazing. The Carolina bbq sauce compliments it perfectly. We got the meat sweats box and by god… Just when you think they couldn’t do anything more perfect THAT JERK CHICKEN!!!!! I’m going into a coma now and don’t want to be woken up until there is more in front of me.

Just the smell will make want to try it. I decided to try all the meat when I went and I'm impressed, jerk chicken is spot on, brisket is amazing, ribs with awesome flavor!! Can't recommend enough! If your in Westerville and hungry you have to make this a MUST TRY!

Straight at it, the (spare and baby back) ribs were pretty good, sauce good, portion good, price good. The greens were pretty good. The cheesey potatoes weren't my cup of tea. I wanted yams and they didn't have then and cornbread and they didn't have that. Overall good meal that I'd do again, but they lost a star for what I wanted and they didn't have.

The food was delicious and our server was very friendly and attentive. The only negative thing I have to say is the restaurant is not very large, so when full it gets quite loud and conversation is difficult. Definitely will be back!

Can’t say enough good things about the staff, I have to stress that the people working there are delightful and sweet. The prices are exactly what you would expect to pay for a pound of ribs. The flavour and taste of the ribs is stellar as always, however I’m very disappointed in the ribs that I got today- they were very hard and chewy. I remember Ray Ray’s having tender fall off the bone type of ribs and these were so tough that it was almost unenjoyable.

To die for! This is better than the barbecue from Texas that we get with our in-laws. They have three heat levels, always a rotating special of some sort of delectable pastrami or meatloaf. Can’t believe we have this GEM in our backyard. Keep up the good work!
