March 15th 2024 I bought a smashed chicken truffle mushroom sandwich. It was delicious and should be for nearly $10. Within 24 hours I was sick with abdominal issues. All I can smell and taste was the mushrooms and the sauce as a vomited. Very very bad batch of mushrooms I will never buy The sandwich again and I will notify the manager.

Went on a Friday to dine in, little busy but we ordered our food at 6:44 and did not get it for 25 minutes. Went up to the counter was told the wait time was a little longer than usual which I understand and have patience. In the meantime, the food is sitting in the window under a heat lamp, I inquired whether that was our order and was told yes but waiting on sides and "it is fine there is a heat lamp" Fries were the only side ordered and sat in the basket with the food. Received our order 5 minutes later after I inquired and other customers had come in after us, ordered and had received their food. The fries were partially cooked and cold, unacceptable and uneaten. The sandwich and tenders were lukewarm and the burger wasn't smashed. Very disappointing visit for the prices they charge and I tipped the workers, which was a mistake.02/05/2024 Posting an update to original review; corporate was genuinely concerned about our visit to Smashburger and wanted the details of our experience and apologized. They sent us a gift certificate to try them again. We went tonight and the visit was a complete 180 from the last visit. Food was fresh, hot, and delicious. The food was delivered in a timely manner and the employees were efficient and accomodating. I'm glad we went back and we will return again.

We are on a quest to find the the best burgers in Columbus.One of my complaints about Smashburgers in general is they’re too salty. It seems to be a recipe problem as it’s every one I’ve been too, including this one.Overall, every burger we tried was good from the classic to the bbq to the black bean. We tried both the gluten free bun (falls apart as you’re eating) and the black bean vegetarian option (our resident vegetarian said 3.5 out of 5). Kids meals are generous. Spicy chicken is a little spicy. Probably the right kick for the masses.Kaleb was great. He worked hard the entire time we were in the restaurant.Clean restaurant and restrooms, just looking like it could use some touch ups.Overall, it remains a good joint for a fast tasty (and a little salty) burger.Kaleb you earned that fifth star, buddy.Vegetarian options: Black bean burger.Kid-friendliness: Chicken or beef.

I'm going to keep this short and sweet. Just go here. VERY tasty smashburgers, good fries, awesome onion rings and ROASTED brussel sprouts that'll rival any other upscale restaurant in the surrounding area. These aren't ya mamas brussel sprouts. These were as good or better than The Pearl, Refectory, The Top, Mitchell's Ocean Club, Jeff Rubys you name it. Also tasty ranch, good customer service and very speedy as well. We'd love to try em again for their wings and shakes and other offerings!

Pre-ordered and received a text the food was ready. Got in, food wasn't ready so I had to wait regardless. It was a 30 minute wait for 2 orders of fries while my burgers were under a hot plate for more than that time.

Burgers are my fav if you didn't know already. I have been going to Smashburger for years, since college!! CRAZYTOWN!! I have enjoyed my experience each dang time. The burgers or whatever you get honestly are TOP TIER & the fries are to die for. I need the recipe y'all. Do not get me started on the milkshakes. I would ask for their milkshakes as a birthday present or Christmas present if I could. It is a fast casual place, so you can be in an out, you make the time you want. It is a perfect vibe and place for all ages. You bet your bottom dollar I will be back here. It's one of my favorite places!! Keep up the amazing work!! I got an Oreo milkshake while I was here last with a double stack Mac n' cheese burger with their smash fries which have olive oil, rosemary and thyme on them.
