This place hits the spot on our nights we're in the mood for mexican.
Limited menu, but all made perfectly. We've enjoyed everything. Our favorite has been the street tacos. They even have a special on Tuesday for tacos.
A must check out. It will end up on your rotating list to eat.

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The quesadilla was both dry and oily, making it hard to enjoy. The burrito was a mess—so wet that it fell apart as soon as I picked it up. The fries were undercooked and drenched in oil, which was really unappetizing. To top it off, the meat in our Gordita was extremely dry. Overall, the quality of the food was very poor. Please get better cooks!!
Very good food me and my family enjoyed the quesadillas and fajitas. The atmosphere would be a 5 but they only really had square tables and no booths. I think that this could be a very good restaurant if they expand more and maybe even some more decorations for the Atmosphere. I would give it a 4.7 out of 5 very good ?

My wife and I tried Taqueria El Girasol after seeing it while at the next door soccer shop.
We were both blown away by how great the food was.
Chips and salsa are included.
We ordered guacamole and I would rank it as one of the best I've had at any restaurant. You could tell it was made fresh and seasoned nicely.
I had the carne asada special which came with steak, sauteed onions, rice, beans, and a grilled jalapeno pepper.
My wife had the street tacos.
If you're looking to try something more authentic than the typical "smothered and covered" chains, I would highly recommend giving this place a try.
I hope they succeed because the food and service is excellent.
I know, I know. 5 stars across the board seems like a stretch. Let me tell you, it's not. Not at all. I've had take out twice, but tonight we showed up with 10 of us. The orders were all correct, the staff were friendly as can be, the atmosphere is laid back and welcoming. This is not the typical Tex-Mex restaurant you're used to. It's authentic and fabulously delicious. The salsa is flavorful, with a kick, and the perfect consistency. The queso was creamy and delectable. My tortillas, if not made on location, were certainly fresh. I had the birria tacos, and got to sample a Baja shrimp taco. Both worthy of a chef's kiss.
I will be coming here frequently (it's right around the corner - yay!!) and hope the community finds this gem as enjoyable as I do.
I'm hoping one day, the proprietor will let me in on the secret to the rice!

Not a better Taco Tuesday deal in Westerville or maybe even Columbus. Authentic, delicious asada, pollo, and pastor tacos for 2 bucks each.
