Amanda's Own Confections - Allergy Friendly Chocolates & Sweets

Have ordered quite a few times, mostly for holidays. We so much appreciate the allergy free chocolate! It’s really good and high quality. On our last order the carrier lost the package and Amanda’s Own made it right even though it wasn’t their fault. Great customer service in addition to a great product! Will definitely order more!

I had a really bad experience with this place. I ordered twice from here. The first order was fine, but the second order arrived melted and disgusting despite purchasing a cooler for shipping (for $10). They put in a tiny ice bag that didn't work. It wasn't a huge deal and I asked for a refund, but the person who responded was incredibly rude and insisted that the cooler's intent was not to keep the food cold. She also said that the cookie dough was shelf stable - which is fine, but it doesn't say that anywhere on their site. My friends received the food I sent them and said it was soupy and disgusting.

I would generally never leave a review like this for a small business, but the service aspect put me over the edge. I spent almost $100 here to send a gift to a friend's family because their daughter has bad allergies and there had been a death in the family. And they just had to throw it all out because it was "gross" (in their words). The person I spoke to was just so rude and my issue was never resolved.

So I would be careful ordering from here. And keep in mind that in their mind, coolers are not to keep food cool...

I was gifted some samples recently, and let me tell you they were delicious! My household does not have any allergies but these chocolates were a hit! The kids couldn’t get enough. I actually stumbled upon this place by accident and the staff member I met was so kind. We’ll definitely be telling everyone we know.

My son just loves this place and so do I. Perfect for ordering chocolate or cookie dough for just any reason. I love having them down the street from us. Best allergy free goodies!

My son is allergic to many things, including milk, soy, and corn & he is still able to get "normal" treats through Amanda's Own. The first time that he ever had a giant chocolate bunny was a REALLY big deal in our house! Of the 5 years that we have been ordering (every major holiday each year), we have only ever had one issue with an order. Customer service was fantastic! Super speedy response and kind. The products themselves are also very thoughtful with detailed moulds and colorful foils. They're very cute and fun.

Love our safe chocolates. My son is allergic to dairy, nuts, gluten and corn and hasn’t had a chocolate bunny since he was diagnosed. Last night watching a movie he commented “well I won’t get a chocolate bunny tomorrow”. He was THRILLED to get a chocolate bunny in his basket this morning. Thank you!! I'm so glad I found you! We have recently found out our daughter is completely dairy free, and of course chocolate was one of the things she was missing most. She had her first "Easter" piece today and absolutely loved it! Thank you for doing what you do!! Will be ordering more

This brand DOES NOT include any protective covering or cooling covering within their packaging unlike other dairy free chocolatiers. I ordered chocolates for my fiancé’s birthday, not knowing they would not come properly covered automatically.The chocolates arrived melted, box stained, completely inappropriate for gifting. A complete WASTE of money. And when speaking with CS i was instructed that i should’ve bought an ADDITIONAL shipping container from them to protect the chocolate from the weather conditions. Which is an excuse to get additional $$ from the customer and complete disregard for the quality of the product received.They should include it automatically to ensure the quality. It’s a chocolate company!! This is the product you make and you offer a shipped service! Why are you not automatically protecting your product and the customers purchase.
