We used to like this place but hadn't eaten there for years. Don't know if it has changed hands or they aren't doing as good of a job, but the food is not what we remembered. Dishes were bland. Overall food quality was mediocre.
Flavor was excellent and spice level just right. However, there were a couple disappointments. We ordered a side of grilled veggies as a healthy option, but were puzzled when they were served swimming in oil. Also, Jalfrezi is usually a low calorie option, since it's typically served with peppers and a light translucent tomato based sauce. But this version was heavy, almost like a milky curry type sauce and a couple peppers slices at most. I would encourage the owner/manager...
