I returned to a Choolah today after a 6-year hiatus living in Choolah-less cities (every city should have a Choolah!), and the manager here was so kind to re-orient me to the Choolah-eating experience! Ahmed was very nice and answered all of my questions about the company. Run to Choolah, folks! And don’t skip the Mango Lassi.

This is not your typical Indian restaurant, focus is on blending Indian flavors with the right amount western zing. We enjoyed our custom made rice bowls and the quantity is decent as well. Naans are the best and a must have. The place was very clean and well maintained, with special focus on maintaining its colorful ambiance.

The staff was very helpful since it was our first time there. The restrooms were very fun and clean. The food was very good and since you adjust the heat of the hot sauce yourself you can make it however you like. My grandkids and I also enjoyed watching them cook the food through the glass window in large tandoori ovens.
Vegetarian options: Since you can make your food however you like and the bases are all vegetarian or vegan the proteins are in added option it is very simple to choose from.
Dietary restrictions: My grandson has an egg allergy. The restaurant had a very clear listing of what had egg in it.
Kid-friendliness: It is not a dine-in sit-down restaurant it is more like a fast food restaurant.

I had the choolaah bowl with chicken and tiki masala samosas with the sauce it comes with and my husband had the salad with lamb. Everything was very good definitely coming back, only complaint is that I hardly had any chicken in my food they probably didn't notice that they did that. Very friendly and very clean, you guys have a new customer ?
Ok so I’m not a huge fan of Indian Food but I got to say this place is DELICIOUS! I had the Pro bowl which is 1/2 rice with 1/2 veggies and added chicken- u get a choice of like 6 different saucy sides and lastly you pick a hot sauce to top your meal with. The manager at the counter who is part owner reviews the entire menu and brings you out samples - don’t know how this all mixes and comes out to be a completely tantalizing meal! The place is super clean and new and the staff are friendly- I only wish they gave you more as I was still a little hungry after my bowl, but I will be back!

I have gotten two Chicken (GF) with White Rice (VE,GF), Tikka Masala (V,GF), Masala on Side, Spicy Mango (VE,GF), and Naan. Personally I have had better. The chicken was burnt, and the Naan was very dry(I dipped it in the sauce). I went to a family owned Idian sat in restaurant in columbus, that is who I'm comparing to.
