We are always impressed with the quality of food and level of service. This is by far the best family owned restaurant in Cleveland!

La Campagna has become our favorite restaurant in Waltham. Every time we are in town it is our go to restaurant. My son and I were just there and we had the best meal ever. I had the steak and my son had the rack of lamb. We had the Beef Carpaccio and the Prosciutto di Parma, OUTSTANDING!

La Campagna is a hidden gem in plain sight. My husband took me here for a date night which did not disappoint! Decor is quaint with touches of the traditional Italian theme throughout. The menu changes weekly, which we prefer. Our appetizer of burrata with a pistachio cream sauce was divine. Our entrees were on point with fresh pasta and homemade marinara. They also have an excellent selection of wine. If you're looking for somewhere new to visit, that is locally owned and has been in business for years, this is a must try! HIGHLY recommend this hidden gem!

We had dinner here for the second time on January 31, 2025. On both occasions the food, service and atmosphere were excellent. The waitress does such a great job being genuinely friendly and has a gift for showing up right when you need her. The food is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. I had eggplant parm and even my husband who hates eggplant liked it. The spumoni bomb for dessert is a must -- it's amazing. If you are looking for a great meal experience La Campagna is your place.

I am not a regular like some of the other reviewers, but have been here multiple times and always come back for special occasions. The food is superb and the service provides a dining experience distinctly different from our current culture.

Definitely don't come looking for a quick bite of pasta. But if you want to relax, slow down, and enjoy a delicious meal with an atmosphere that is somehow both familial and classy, this is the place.

Be sure to make a reservation and allot enough time for a slow meal and you won't be disappointed!

First time visit. We visited to celebrate our 42nd wedding anniversary. Relaxed atmosphere. Not pretentious. Mike and Ed took the time to educate us in detailing the day’s menu and their timing of service was spot on. The food was delicious. Plate licking good. Wine selection perfect. Capped the fine meal with an Affogato, not on the menu, but made because we asked. Will definitely be back before the 43 year mark.

Me and my family were so excited to try this restaurant, but were very let down. We had reservations and had been watching youtube videos because we were so excited. We arrived at 6:30 tonight and it took about five minutes for us to be seated which is okay because the waitress looked busy helping at the 2-3 other tables of couples (we had a party of 8 but there were about 8 other guests in total there as well). She came over and we sat at the table and waited. We were not offered any other drinks and we were handed a giant wood menu of their options. Again the menu thing is fine. The problem was we finally ordered after waiting 30 minutes on the waitress which is almost inexcusable. The waitress was nice to a degree but seemed very irritated and peeved. We asked for recommendations over the daunting menu and she said she doesnt have a favorite and told us to get whatever we wanted. Great, but as someone who has worked food service before you should at least make something up. She also was upset when we asked for more water saying she would have to filter it. She seemed nice but just wasn’t very friendly and seemed constantly inconvenienced. After 30 more minutes we finally received our salads/soups and bread. The salad was spring mix with our choice of dressing, but we saw her making the salad finally 25 minutes after we had ordered. The soup was fine. The bread was homemade but it was just white bread served with to go butter. Again fine but just not special. No garlic or seasoning.Another thirty ish minutes and it is finally 7:55 and we are on our fourth round of begged for waters. The waitress was talking to another couple for about 10 minutes which I understand if these are regulars and greeting them, but I really feel like it is important to prioritize your guests rather than the conversation. Eventually she goes to the kitchen and brings out the food. Some of my family had the lamb meatballs and the ravioli with walnut cream sauce which were excellent but everything else was truly just mediocre. My sister and I had the alfredo and it was fine but truly nothing special. We shared one plate and it was really only enough for one person. My sister tried to dish up her own noodles and all of the noodles were picked up just to give you an idea of the portions. It was $12.99 so I guess that is fair but it would have been nice to know that it might not be enough. All of the portion sizes and food itself were just not worth the $28 price tags (the items on the menu were more expensive) or 1.5 hour waits. When you pay so much you just expect bigger portions and the taste to be so memorable. Also, I understand parties of 6 have extra fees but after the unfriendly service, mediocre food, and 1.5 hour wait time I feel like it should not have been added. I do understand restaurants and people have off days but I truly felt we were not prioritized and were more like inconveniences and it felt like it was not a one time thing. We will not be returning which is really unfortunate because we had such high hopes. I truly hope that they do not take this review personally but as a way to become better.
