The people are the best. They're going to help you find the right things for you. They pointed me toward the house made pastrami. I think his name was Troy that made it but it was the best I've ever had. Not fatty but also enough that it's moist and balanced between the flavor of good cured meat and the spices imparted through that process.
The Paprikash was wonderful. I've heard about this and was told this was a good place for it. It was really great and unlike anything I've ever had.
Food was off the scale. People were kind, efficient, and take pride in their product. Sat outside as it was a lovely day.
Every time I go through Cleveland, you bet I'm stopping here!!!

A near perfect cafe experience (suburban variety). So many homemade options, specialties unique to them, and food products from the best local providers like Rising Star Coffee and Cleveland Bagels. I love coming here in the morning, getting an egg sandwich and a coffee. Those days are always good days.
All the Employee s are very friendly and Attentive. I enjoyed an Amazing Corn beef Egg Cheese on a Rosemary Bagel and my husband had A egg, cheese and bacon on a brisk bun. I enjoyed my meal and my husband also.

I’ve been going for a while and it’s always great service and food, but this morning really stood out to me. I went into the bakery side around 730am and the girl who helped me with coffee and quiche was extremely friendly and attentive. It was really appreciated!! Her smile and attitude were infectious 🩷🙂 I will be back!!

We absolutely loved our visit to this charming little coffee shop! From the moment we walked in, the baristas made us feel so welcome—and their custom lattes were seriously delicious. I had a croissant breakfast sandwich that was perfectly flaky and flavorful, and I couldn’t get enough of the everything bagel with their homemade cream cheese schmear—so good!
We also treated ourselves to a chocolate-covered donut topped with a cute Peep bunny marshmallow—such a fun touch. The atmosphere was super cozy and inviting. We were there with family and ended up staying for several hours. I would definitely visit again to read and sip coffee or do computer work.
They had a great selection of food, snacks, and even homemade dessert, sandwiches, and soups—it really felt like a place that had something for everyone. Honestly, I just wish there was a Layman’s Coffee where we live in Illinois!
