Horrible. Don’t answer phone and will take orders via Toast when they aren’t open. Order doesn’t get filled or refunded. Can’t contact anyone to get this resolved. No phone numbers work for this company.

Pulpo Beer Company: A Disappointing Jungle of Empty Promises

At first glance, Pulpo Beer Company teases an enticing experience with its cool, jungle-inspired ambiance. But that’s about where the intrigue ends. What could have been a unique and memorable night out quickly devolved into a frustrating lesson in poor management and lackluster service.

The menu is astonishingly limited, especially for the inflated prices. It’s hard to justify the cost when the options feel like afterthoughts rather than the curated offerings of a quality establishment. To make matters worse, the waitstaff seemed woefully unprepared. From the moment we sat down, it became clear that communication was going to be a challenge—whether due to poor training or general disinterest, they had trouble understanding even basic requests.

Saturday night at 7:30 pm should be prime time for any restaurant, especially one that prides itself on its craft brews. Yet, shockingly, Pulpo was completely out of every single beer they produce. Not one. How does a brewery run out of its own beer? After struggling to settle on an overpriced drink from their remaining, unimpressive options, we ordered our entrees and hoped for redemption.

That hope was soon dashed. After placing our orders promptly, we found ourselves waiting well past 8:45 for food that was, at best, average. Bland, uninspired, and not remotely worth the wait. For a place that markets itself as a culinary experience, it fails on every level.

Pulpo Beer Company may have nailed the décor, but atmosphere alone can’t save a restaurant. Between the poor service, missing beer, lackluster menu, and painfully slow kitchen, this place is little more than a jungle of empty promises. Spend your hard-earned money elsewhere.

The first time we went I thought we just had a bad server that didn’t know what a martini was. However the second time we went the kitchen wasn’t even open and the drinks tasted like gasoline. A friend and I ordered two different drinks and we ended up getting the same thing. Both were horrible. Atmosphere is really cool tho

We had 2 drinks and 2 meals and spent close to $80. For that cost it would be reasonable to believe the food quality would be above average. However the fries my meal came with tasted like they were unseasoned microwaved fries you purchase frozen in the grocery store. The “flatbread” we ordered was a pepperoni pizza and the ingredients (dough cheese etc) tasted like they could have been used to do a make your own pizza at home with your child. The drinks were okay. All in all I don’t understand how the bill was over $65 and we ordered average meals but tasted subpar.

Dirty grease... so much dirty cooking grease. That's so easy to not screw up and they did it. Please do yourself a favor and eat anywhere else prior to a show at the movies.

The food here is not good whatsoever. The fries are hardly fried. They were soggy, soft, and in desperate need of salt. The buffalo cauliflower was soggy and bland. Service was just ok. The waitress would ask how things were and would walk away before you even answered. Girl, don’t bother asking. But don’t worry, she got a 20% tip because that’s the minimum % on their card reader. This place just isn’t worth it. Save your money.
