I've been here several times and have always had a positive experience, from the friendly service to the delicious food. Today's Easter brunch was no exception; not only did everything on the buffet taste fresh, but the staff continually replenished the food to ensure everyone was able to enjoy it. Our server Dan was also so sweet and made our family outing that much more enjoyable. This place is such a gem in Westlake!

My wife and I came in on a Friday night during lent for dinner and the restaurant was rightfully packed.We had placed an order for a bowl of clam chowder, broiled oysters, and 2 caesar salads. We were told that the clam chowder and broiled oysters would be brought out first as an appetizer and unfortunately they were not.After over 45 minutes, our food finally arrived and unfortunately the clam chowder and broiled oysters were both cold. We were then told “sorry the clam chowder and oysters were taken to the wrong table”We understand that the restaurant was very busy, however 45 minutes for soup and salad is pretty ridiculous when you take into account the bill being well over $80.Our server apologized many times and we completely understand that it was not their fault.

Went for lunch with my wife. Ordered lobster roll and shrimp and grits. Food took extraordinarily long to come out. Our waitress was great, kept us updated on progress and they were more than fair on the bill when cone time to settle up. Will definitely give them another shot. Food was delicious!

The various oysters were very good: broiled, grilled and fried. The rest of the food, not so much. Lobster Mac 'n cheese was very runny and not very cheesy at all. Ahi tuna nachos had tuna, a very tasteless coleslaw, and about 3 drops of sauce. Service was poor and everything was overpriced. Overall very disappointing, especially since it got good reviews.
I cannot even begin to tell you how much we love this place. Not only is the food always delicious, but the staff and chef go above and beyond to make sure your experience is enjoyable. I recently had a unique request that normally would have been turned down by other restaurants. I reached out a few days in advance to ask if the situation was possible and was surprised by the gracious response from the chef "I will personally take care of it, you are in good hands." That is exactly what happened. We have always been a fan and will continue to frequent Salty Mary's.As far as the food...Don't sleep on that blackened Walleye sandwich, I think about it often. The shrimp and grits is our favorite although my niece devoured the massive chicken sandwich like a champion. Oysters, clam chowder, lobster roll, tuna nachos, fish and chips are all great options. I am sure the other selections are as well; this is just as far as we have gotten with their new menu as we keep on reordering our favorites.

Wowzerz! What an amazing experience. The restaurant's atmosphere is amazing. The music is light and the customer service from Lydia was exceptional. The shrimp and grits was absolutely delicious which was recommended by Lydia. The best meal I've had this year. I'll definitely be back!
