“Dueling Axes made for an awesome double date night! It was our first time throwing axes and knives but John gave us a great intro and coached us girls through it! He was hilarious and so approachable, willing to give more tips when I was struggling miserably LOL. We loved the variety of games, including a cornhole-style scoring game (1st to 21 or 51). The bar is very nice, and they serve an excellent peach mint mule- great work, Dan. We will definitely be going back!“

“pros and cons. CONS.. If you were to base your visit on first checking out the cleanliness of the bathrooms before you eat, you'd turn around and leave. The men's room in the basement needs so much work and the multiple colonies of gnats was like visiting the basement of college kids from a party and cans and spilled beer have never been cleaned up. Horrible condition. The ladies refused to even look at theirs. Booths are small and tight. Definitely an old building, but it's kind of cool with its history. PROS... Those were some really really good burgers. Wife got the Ali and I got the Old School. Burgers are huge and easily splitable. We tried this after friends suggested the burgers and we were not disappointed. Onion rings were too greasy for us, but the fries and homemade chips were great. Alll and all, it's definitely an option to eat again when in town.“

“Wine on High was the perfect spot for our company ladies night. Leading up to the event, Tina made the process seamless & easy. Her communication was great. The evening of our event, Eric took the best care of us. We did a wine tasting before dinner & he was so knowledgeable about the wines he was serving us. Dinner & drinks were loved by all. They even personalized the menus with our company logo which I thought was a sweet touch.“

“I booked a party here for about 30 people and it was such a breeze and the space was perfect. The entire process was seamless, the rental space was affordable and the staff is so friendly and helpful. Beyond that, the taproom is always very clean and welcoming. They also have great drinks! “The atmosphere of the Goat at this location is very welcoming and has a more cozy & relaxed vibe.
The food, as pretty much always at The Goat Restaurants, was amazing. The quality of the food is great for the fact that a lot of the items are scratch-cooked which is awesome.
I have been enjoying the new holiday drinks. They are eye-catching and taste great.
The staff was very friendly, and kudos to the male Bartender with the hurt hand. You could tell it was hurt yet he didn't let it show and gave great service.

Vegetarian options: If you need a change or tweak to the preparation of your entre, don't feel shy in skiing if your server would see if the cook would alter the dish. I have seen many customers ask and most times kitchen can accommodate the request.

“We ordered the chicken and waffles, a Baileys Irish coffee, and a side of bacon. The waffle was amazing the only thing was it may have been maybe sitting under a light for a while becuase there was a portion of it that was crispy like chips, I didn't care for that at all. The coffee was lukewarm, and my bacon was overcooked. But the reason i gave them 5 stars is because the service was SUPERB! We were visiting and didn't know of any places to go so we asked the waitress and they took their time and gave us a list of a couple places we could visit in the city and to me that in itself was awesome. Also the waitress removed the overcooked bacon and the lukewarm coffee from my tab, when she noticed that I didn't eat it, without me even having to ask, although I wouldn't have, I would've just paid for it. This place was clean and it was absolutely, for us, worth it.“

Dicks Den became the "secret getaway" for myself and my friends looking for a relaxing bar with a good environment without the insanity of a bar full of drunk toddler college students. Dicks Den is the place, the bartenders are friendly and the live music is always great! Great place to have a couple drinks and share good memories with friends!“

We once won a mini cornhole game which is the cutest thing. Better yet, last week we won $100 as a team for winning trivia. wonderful experience. it’s in high street, but there is a parking lot directly across the street!“

“Had a great time at Mike's Grill. Brandon, our bar tender, was friendly, knowledgeable, and great under pressure. I know because after a few drinks, I put him to the test. He managed to serve to perfection every drink I ordered. Their selection of beer was admirable as well. Being from Texas, I asked the likelihood of getting a bottle of the national beer of Texas, a Lone Star, and lo and behold it was presented to me. Had a great time meeting young and old alike. “I always come for the chicken, Carolina Gold, the bartenders are usually slow, not very welcoming. They cater to their regulars ignore everybody else.
It’s a chill spot if you are a smoker and you want to sit on the patio, it’s enclosed Usually a more mature, chill crowd.

“This bar epitomizes the home town old school vibe(this bar has been in business since the 1930's)! Punky and Aggie behind the bar are pure awesomeness! I am from Cleveland and always look for old school bars when I travel. This bar is one of the best I ever stopped into. Aggie today (has been here 13+ years) had homemade deviled eggs and pickled eggs with beets. Amazing! Literally one of the best bars I have ever been into during the day! Holler!!!“
