Wonderful experience and great atmosphere
We went to the Mandrake for my birthday dinner. We had an amazing time. The view of Columbus from the rooftop was beautiful. Our server Natalia was so great. She was kind and helpful. She was also prompt. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and had great recommendations. She even got us a round of shots for my birthday. It was fun. The food was really good. I brought three clients to Mandrake last Thursday evening for after-dinner drinks and dessert, and the experience was excellent from the moment we arrived.
We received a warm welcome, and the hostess found us a great table on the patio. Mandrake Rooftop offers a beautiful setting with a lively atmosphere and a fantastic view. The friendly staff ensures a pleasant experience and the service is above and beyond. While the outdoor seating may be more suited for lounging than standard dining, the stunning views make it a worthwhile visit. The food receives high praise, with some amazing chicken dishes and really good beef dishes. The cocktails are amazing, and the atmosphere created by the DJ is fun.
The service is top-notch, and servers go above and beyond. Everything comes out in a reasonable time. However, the layout of this place is not the best and it is a super tight squeeze. The benches outside face inward toward the building. There are a few high chair bar areas that face outward, as the restaurant is going for more of a club type atmosphere.
Overall, Mandrake Rooftop is a popular destination for its stunning views, lively atmosphere, and generally well-received food and service. It is the best dressed and most well-attended club.
