“We visited The 698 for the first time a couple weeks ago. We had a large party and were celebrating two birthdays. The service we received from the staff was out of this world! A special shoutout to our server, Riley and the bartender, who took such great care of us! The food was phenomenal and they were so thoughtful to try and time the sushi orders with the cooked orders.

Without a doubt, we will be returning!“

“The sushi tasting menu at Haru Omakase was lovely. Great cocktails, creative and varied flavors and very fresh seafood. The tasting included some familiar seafood and also several different varieties of fish I’ve never tried before. All were delicious and fresh. I was a really big fan of Kihachi, which closed years ago, and I’m happy to have another upscale Japanese restaurant in Columbus that is comparable in quality. I look forward to future tastings at Haru and experiencing more Japanese cuisine.

Now, some reviewers said they feel the restaurant is over priced. It is expensive, but I am happy to pay what they charge for this quality in my landlocked hometown.“

“I can't say enough about our incredible experience tonight at Kona Grill. I just got diagnosed with cancer, had my first chemo last Friday and finally felt well enough to get out. I've loved Kona since the first time I came in 2003 yall. So for me it's one of my favorites. Jacquelyn and Juan could not have made my first outing post chemo/newly bald more memorable. This before they knew I had just experienced a very challenging week. That aside the food was phenomenal, I had the macadamia nut chicken and holy Hannah the dessert! Made in house and absolutely incredible. I simply can't say enough. The environment, the service, the food. Worth every moment.“

“Well we ate dinner at the feast Buffet, a new place not impressed. Some food was good but a lot of it was cold. They don't serve hot mustard for a sauce, they don't serve melted butter for crab, crispy noodles for the soups. My opinion is China Supreme Buffet is better. Seating is 4 people booths and 4 people tables, so our party of 6 can't sit together, but you can sit across the isle from each other. also charge $10.79 service fee each check (Gratuity) because there were 6 of us.“

“WOW… House of Japan near Polaris Mall in Columbus, Ohio was absolutely packed for Mother’s Day, but they still had us seated in about 30 minutes which was impressive with how busy they were.

The hibachi experience was phenomenal. Watching the chef cook everything fresh right in front of us made it a fun experience instead of just dinner. I ordered the filet mignon cooked medium and it came out perfect. Great food, great atmosphere, generous portions, and the staff kept things moving smoothly even with the crowd.

If you’re in the Columbus area and want a fun dinner spot, House of Japan at Polaris is definitely worth checking out.“
