“Wow. First time visiting. I wish I would have come sooner. Beautiful decor, lively atmosphere, excellent server, and one of the best meals I have had in Columbus. There were 5 in our party. It was a Sunday, so all day happy hour. Appetizers were 1/2 off. We shared several types of sushi and taquitos to start. Sushi was very fresh. For mains, we got burgers, tacos, and fish sandwich. All very yummy and well-prepared. We shared insanely delicious desserts- chocolate cake - which had more of a brownie consistency but not complaining - and olive oil cake with the best flavored whipped I ever had - creamsicle. Tasted exactly like a creamsicle ice cream bar. Everything was just delicious. Our server was terrific. The only small issue was the servers were stretched a bit thin so it was a while between her visits to the table. But she was very pleasant, friendly and professional. With 1/2 off appetizers and draft beer, it was an excellent value.“

“Went on Valentine’s Day without reservations. Were told a 45 minute wait for a table, or immediate seating at the bar. We chose to sit at the bar. Our waiter Maurice was quick to provide service and very friendly and informative. We both ordered the pacific combo and it was delivered in probably 10 minutes! It was outstanding and we were so stuffed we couldn’t even finish it, all the crab legs were filled with meat (never got an empty one) and everything was exceptional. We drove 2 hours to eat here and would do it again! Thank you Maurice!“

“We are beyond impressed by the food, great owner, friendly chef, and fantastic experience at Golden Fried Chicken and Fish. This is the place if you’re looking for true southern-style fried catfish. My husband and I went here for lunch. There was plenty of parking and a steady flow of folks in and out for good reason. The owner, J.R., greeted us as soon as we walked in. He was very helpful, informative, and so nice. His staff clearly respects him, and he runs a great shop. It only took 10 minutes to get all our food steaming hot and fresh. I ordered the catfish dinner. My husband ordered the Golden Combo. Just, wow. The flavor on this is 10/10. The last time I had catfish this good was when we were down south. Golden Fried Chicken and Fish is the best catfish in Columbus. Great business, incredible food. We can’t say enough great things.“

“Overall, a very pleasant experience. Our sever was friendly and attentive. Nice vibe, relatively quiet even with large groups and children seated near. Food was all good. We had the June special drinks and dessert. I recommend both. We loved the tempura mushrooms and grilled peppers. The restaurant is pricey with relatively small portions, but the quality is there. I would definitely go again should I find myself back in the area.“

The Vallet parking was nice for parking my F450. Try she crab soup and oyster on half shell. The Columbus Ohio restaurant is beautiful atmosphere“

“A week ago I was hosting a baby shower at the Goodyear Heights Metro Park. I ran out of taco meat immediately googled taco places near me. La Loma was less than half a mile. I called them and asked if they could make me pan of taco meat on a busy busy Friday night for them. They said absolutely by the time I drove there they had my food ready and threw in some extras, they literally saved my party. Most people didn’t even know. I ran out cause I was back in under five minutes. The food was amazing and they were such a friendly staff 10 out of 10 recommend“

“Ashley was a wonderful server, extremely accommodating! Her suggestions helped me pair the right drink with my mood and my meal! The food was phenomenal. We shared deviled eggs and steak egg rolls. The eggs were top -tier, and the egg rolls basically melted in our mouths. We ordered the prime rib with mashed potatoes, and our friend had the grilled salmon with orzo. We need boxes. We took home dessert. Coming here was the best decision we made last weekend.“

We would've preferred the roasted vegetables be a bit more cooked. They were hot but basically still raw. The desserts that came with the 3 course meal were all tasty and generous in size. Would definitely recommend the creme brulee cheesecake... outstanding. The only thing that kept this from 5 stars is the ridiculously cold air conditioning. Our server said she'd talk to the manager about it, but nothing ever changed. The food cooled off very quickly, and we were frozen by the end of the meal.“
