A week ago I was hosting a baby shower at the Goodyear Heights Metro Park. I ran out of taco meat immediately googled taco places near me. La Loma was less than half a mile. I called them and asked if they could make me pan of taco meat on a busy busy Friday night for them. They said absolutely by the time I drove there they had my food ready and threw in some extras, they literally saved my party. Most people didn’t even know. We went there last night for a celebration. The food was outstanding, authentic Mexican. Very friendly service. We had a great time. Tamales & gorditas were great. Mexican drinks like horchata are made on site. Margaritas too. And the desserts! Mexican ice creams and other desserts - what a selection! We will be back soon!
Laloma is local authentic Mexican food ! Good reputation however I was truly disappointed at our visit today . We were a group of 5 sat in back of restaurant. Flys and gnats were all over the wall and wouldn’t stop flying over us . Food came out quick and hot . And the first couple of bites were great . However the gnats got all over my food within the first 2 min my food was on the table . Unfortunately the flys and gnats made me and my family immediately loose our appetite...read full review

Based on the reviews, La Loma Columbus is a Mexican restaurant with a great dining experience. The food is excellent, very delicious, fresh, and filling. The chips and salsa might just be the best in the city, with a basic salsa that is heads and tails above anything else. They also serve a fresh slaw and a coleslaw dip that is incredible. The frozen watermelon margarita is strong and delicious. A beef fajita order is huge and feeds two people with leftovers. The restaurant and decor are immaculate, with a very clean smell and welcoming artwork and ambiance. The staff is courteous and attentive. Service is prompt, and the food is quick to the table. Portions are very generous. The experience has been consistent and very good overall. It is fairly priced and a nice place for a good bite to eat. Parking is limited directly off the street, but there is a parking lot in the back.
