MCL Restaurant & Bakery in Kingsdale offers a cafeteria-style dining experience known for its good quality food. The variety includes options like fried chicken, roast beef, green beans, salads, and an impressive selection of bakery items, including cinnamon rolls and pies. Diners can enjoy hearty meals, like Mac and cheese, with the option of a Mayfield Plate for smaller portions at a lower price. The atmosphere is family-friendly and often caters to seniors, creating a welcoming environment. While most food is generally well-prepared, some dishes may vary in freshness depending on the time of day. Guests appreciate the clean and quiet setting, making it a pleasant dining experience. However, some customers have noted issues with missing options during the last hour of service and have expressed concern about high prices. Parking is available, though spots near the entrance may be limited, and the restaurant is wheelchair accessible. Overall, MCL Restaurant & Bakery is a beloved spot with a nostalgic feel, reminiscent of home-cooked meals enjoyed after church.
