First of all, the food could be terrible but we’d still come back because the wait staff is so personable and friendly. But the food is also always amazing so that is a perk! “A hidden gem in Columbus for the more relaxed and refined folk looking to have a chill night out. The Denmark offers a great European atmosphere, located on the 2nd floor of a building just across from the convention center. The large windows, low lighting, and casual seating arrangements all set the mood for great conversation amongst peers and intellectual discussions about the various oddities of life.

There aren’t many food options but this place is great with its cocktails. I think there’s always something for everyone, their menu regularly rotates through new unique drinks but has a good repertoire of their classics; The Elderflower Paloma and Mango Daiquiri are particularly exquisite. To my knowledge it’s only run by three guys, which means service will be a little lacking at times, but they’re all great bartenders and have a sweet personality behind their gruff exteriors. They’re just a trio, cut them some slack.

Theres chess sets, self serve water and various card and board games you can pull out from their selections which is complemented by the modern decor to make this place a routine stop for me when I’m out and about downtown. The only negative thing I have to say is that this place is usually very sparse and not as full as I would like it to be, highly recommend more people check it out and make it a regular stop for their nights out as well.“

“Bodega is one of those places that knows exactly what it is and leans into it. A low-key, no-frills neighborhood dive with just enough charm to make you want to hang out longer than you planned.

The funnel cake fries are the real surprise hit. Crispy, fluffy, perfectly dusted with sugar and dangerously easy to keep eating. I honestly came in for a drink and left thinking about those fries.

Huge shoutout to Salim behind the bar. Super friendly, attentive, and bringing just the right mix of smooth and playful energy that makes you feel welcome the moment you sit down. He made the whole experience better.

Bodega may not be trying to be fancy, and that’s part of its appeal. It’s a relaxed, easygoing spot with good vibes, great service, and snacks that punch way above their weight.

The eggs were top -tier, and the egg rolls basically melted in our mouths. We ordered the prime rib with mashed potatoes, and our friend had the grilled salmon with orzo. We need boxes. We took home dessert. Coming here was the best decision we made last weekend.“

It was a Sunday, so all day happy hour. Appetizers were 1/2 off. We shared several types of sushi and taquitos to start. Sushi was very fresh. For mains, we got burgers, tacos, and fish sandwich. All very yummy and well-prepared. We shared insanely delicious desserts- chocolate cake - which had more of a brownie consistency but not complaining - and olive oil cake with the best flavored whipped I ever had - creamsicle. Tasted exactly like a creamsicle ice cream bar. Everything was just delicious. Our server was terrific. The only small issue was the servers were stretched a bit thin so it was a while between her visits to the table. But she was very pleasant, friendly and professional. With 1/2 off appetizers and draft beer, it was an excellent value.“

“Went on Valentine’s Day without reservations. Were told a 45 minute wait for a table, or immediate seating at the bar. We chose to sit at the bar. Our waiter Maurice was quick to provide service and very friendly and informative. We both ordered the pacific combo and it was delivered in probably 10 minutes! It was outstanding and we were so stuffed we couldn’t even finish it, all the crab legs were filled with meat (never got an empty one) and everything was exceptional. We drove 2 hours to eat here and would do it again! Thank you Maurice!“

“Went here on a whim when we got hungry and a bunch of other places were closed. We had Becca as a server, and she was absolutely PHENOMENAL. Extremely attentive without being overbearing, positive without being fake, quick with refills and checking on us. And props to the cooks and bartenders, my drink was flawless and the food was seriously out of this world, I'm tempted to go back for the cheese curds alone. “Flip Side Burgers is located in a great plaza with a fantastic atmosphere. The area is full of restaurants, coffee shops, and places to grab dessert, making it a perfect destination to spend some time before or after your meal.

The burgers were excellent. We tried the Smash Burger, which was juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. We also decided to try one of their more unique creations with peanut butter and a sweet-and-spicy jelly, and it completely exceeded our expectations. It may sound unusual, but the combination was absolutely delicious and worked surprisingly well.

The customer service was friendly and attentive, making the overall experience even better.

The only downside was that it was extremely hot inside the restaurant, which made it a little uncomfortable while dining. Other than that, everything was great.

If you’re looking for creative, high-quality burgers in Columbus, Flip Side Burgers is definitely worth a visit. We’d happily come back to try more of their menu.“
