“🍷 Growing up in Italy, I’m naturally a little picky when it comes to Italian food, but Forno Kitchen + Bar has become one of my favorite spots here. I often come for their wood-fired pizza and house-made pasta, both full of authentic flavor that instantly take me back to evenings in Turin. The warm atmosphere, paired with a good glass of wine, makes every visit feel like a little taste of home“

“I am a frequent visitor to this location for Cap City fine diner. All the employees are wonderful and super friendly. The food always comes out perfectly and if there’s ever an issue, they take care of it immediately. This dining spot has such a great variety and I need to give a shout out to a particular server. “Overall, a very pleasant experience. Our sever was friendly and attentive. Nice vibe, relatively quiet even with large groups and children seated near. Food was all good. We had the June special drinks and dessert. I recommend both. We loved the tempura mushrooms and grilled peppers. The restaurant is pricey with relatively small portions, but the quality is there. I would definitely go again should I find myself back in the area.“

“First and foremost, I’d like to thank Simon the bartender for making my first time at The Pearl an experience. Words can’t describe how great of a host he was. Simon recommended nothin but best drinks and food. He didn’t miss. First was N’Awlins Oysters were phenomenal and the Hanger Steak was out of this world! The pearl is a classic vibe with an upbeat aesthetic. If you’re thinking about going here, don’t second-guess it just go!!

This is actually where he first asked me to be his girlfriend, and he later planned our post-proposal dinner here as well. “I've been to this location to enjoy dinner on multiple occasions. 85% of the time, the entire experience is fantastic, but my most recent experience left me wanting. Unfortunately, there were a number of issues tied to getting our bill correct, and then, adding insult to injury, I ended up going home with a considerable stomachache. Fortunately, it didn't end up being any worse than that, but let's just say I had some concerns on that drive. 😬 but besides that, the food was very tasty, came out quickly, and I believe was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone who comprised the party - being made up of eight people. That is another point: this location can accommodate larger groups as well as smaller groups. Also, I strongly recommend the chocolate chip cookie 🍪 , which I know couldn't have been the culprit of my stomachache, because I saved it to enjoy at a later time. In fact, the chocolate chip cookie is one of the primary reasons why I'm excited to go to Northstar whenever it comes up as a dining option! The homemade ginger ale and kombucha are favorites of mine, as well as the North Star Burger - and that is coming coming from somebody who is a meat-eater most of the time! Enjoy!“

“Yana is by far the best server at Parlay. She helped us get a game on TV that we wanted to watch and even moved our table to the boardroom so we could watch with audio. She checked in frequently and kept our glasses full. 10 out of 10. Would come again and ask for her.“

“My girlfriends and I come here once a month for breakfast before we go and play board games all day. First of all, the food could be terrible but we’d still come back because the wait staff is so personable and friendly. But the food is also always amazing so that is a perk! It doesn’t matter who our waiter is they all seem to meander over to say hi. Always so attentive and genuinely seem like they’re happy to be at work. I can’t wait until our next visit.“

“A hidden gem in Columbus for the more relaxed and refined folk looking to have a chill night out. The Denmark offers a great European atmosphere, located on the 2nd floor of a building just across from the convention center. The large windows, low lighting, and casual seating arrangements all set the mood for great conversation amongst peers and intellectual discussions about the various oddities of life.

There aren’t many food options but this place is great with its cocktails. I think there’s always something for everyone, their menu regularly rotates through new unique drinks but has a good repertoire of their classics; The Elderflower Paloma and Mango Daiquiri are particularly exquisite. To my knowledge it’s only run by three guys, which means service will be a little lacking at times, but they’re all great bartenders and have a sweet personality behind their gruff exteriors. They’re just a trio, cut them some slack.

Theres chess sets, self serve water and various card and board games you can pull out from their selections which is complemented by the modern decor to make this place a routine stop for me when I’m out and about downtown. The only negative thing I have to say is that this place is usually very sparse and not as full as I would like it to be, highly recommend more people check it out and make it a regular stop for their nights out as well.“

“Bodega is one of those places that knows exactly what it is and leans into it. A low-key, no-frills neighborhood dive with just enough charm to make you want to hang out longer than you planned.

The funnel cake fries are the real surprise hit. Crispy, fluffy, perfectly dusted with sugar and dangerously easy to keep eating. I honestly came in for a drink and left thinking about those fries.

Huge shoutout to Salim behind the bar. Super friendly, attentive, and bringing just the right mix of smooth and playful energy that makes you feel welcome the moment you sit down. He made the whole experience better.

Bodega may not be trying to be fancy, and that’s part of its appeal. It’s a relaxed, easygoing spot with good vibes, great service, and snacks that punch way above their weight.

“We loved our experience here!!! Ethan was our server, he was the best we’ve had in Columbus in the 3 years we’ve lived here. Everything we tried in the menu was delicious! The Hawaiian sushi was flavorful but very spicy, the surf & turf roll was tender. The shrimp wok and taquitos were some of our favorite appetizers, and the French dip grilled cheese was super good. Fries were just okay, I might try the sweet potato ones next time I go.“

“Belly up to the bar if it's just two of you or grab a table for a group. The Press has an awesome craft beer list with lots of local options and good pub grub. The burgers, wedge salad and steak fries are my go to, but that's always dependent on what's the daily special. Sunday steak night is also a good value.“

“I know Flipside in Hudson so we figured to we would see if this location was just as good. The staff was wonderful and the menu was just as good. These burgers are the best. So many beers available & we stayed too long trying many of them. Definitely worth checking out.“

“Went on Valentine’s Day without reservations. Were told a 45 minute wait for a table, or immediate seating at the bar. We chose to sit at the bar. Our waiter Maurice was quick to provide service and very friendly and informative. We both ordered the pacific combo and it was delivered in probably 10 minutes! It was outstanding and we were so stuffed we couldn’t even finish it, all the crab legs were filled with meat (never got an empty one) and everything was exceptional. We drove 2 hours to eat here and would do it again! Thank you Maurice!“

“Went here on a whim when we got hungry and a bunch of other places were closed. We had Becca as a server, and she was absolutely PHENOMENAL. Extremely attentive without being overbearing, positive without being fake, quick with refills and checking on us. And props to the cooks and bartenders, my drink was flawless and the food was seriously out of this world, I'm tempted to go back for the cheese curds alone. Zero complaints, can't recommend this place enough.“
