“Visited Columbus for the first time and stumbled into an amazing restaurant that truly sets the bar for what ethos restaurants should operate from- no seed oils, quality water and everything cooked in beef tallow. For a health conscious restaurant their prices are beyond reasonable with something on the menu for anyone who’s looking to expand their horizons of healthy eating.

Our server Katie was exceptional- so so kind, knowledgeable about the menu and carried a smile on her face the entire service. The GM even made it a point to comp our wellness shots we ordered since we were visiting. Truly made our experience! Thank you katie! ❤“

“One of the best dining experiences we have had in some time. We ordered the NY strip and a slice of their homemade pie. Every single thing we ate was delicious. Service was amazingly friendly. Best option in the area, by far. The steak here was a million times better than the steak down the street at FYR and was probably 30-40% less expensive.“

“My friends, believe me when I say that the Chicken and Avocado Sandwich at this Cafe was one of the best I've ever had. I CRUSHED that sandwich like it was my last meal on the face of this earth. My husband had the cheeseburger and fries. He (rudely) didn't let me have a bite of the burger, but he said the flavor was fantastic. I did steal his fries, though, and they were crispy and delicious. We both got gluten free buns, with low expectations, but the buns were great, too! 10 out of 10, no notes. “As an Army Combat Veteran who recently moved downtown from California, I was looking forward to celebrating Independence Day here. While the red snapper was absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked, the initial service was incredibly disappointing. I flagged down a blonde bartender to order a beer, but she never returned to take my food order. Despite the bar being empty, she passed by multiple times, seemingly more focused on asking coworkers how her hair looked than serving me sitting at the bar. She also ignored me while being overly attentive to regulars who arrived later. Thankfully, the head bartender noticed I was waiting and saved the night. I ended up ordering my dinner, dessert and remaining drinks from the other bartenders. I waited for her shift to end before closing out my $80 ticket. I then left the remaining bartenders $30.
It is a shame that great food is overshadowed by a lack of basic attentiveness to new guests.“

“My girlfriends and I come here once a month for breakfast before we go and play board games all day. First of all, the food could be terrible but we’d still come back because the wait staff is so personable and friendly. But the food is also always amazing so that is a perk! It doesn’t matter who our waiter is they all seem to meander over to say hi. Always so attentive and genuinely seem like they’re happy to be at work. I can’t wait until our next visit.“

“Denmark On High is a true Columbus gem!!! I absolutely loved this place! I participated in the Cocktail Making Class for my Sister-In-Law's Bachelorette Party a few weeks ago, and had an absolute blast! Gato is the best bartender and instructor ever!! He was a ton of fun and the drinks were some of the best I've ever had in Columbus!!! I will absolutely visit this bar again and I look forward to trying more drinks. I highly recommend this bar for everyone 21+ !!!!“

“Belly up to the bar if it's just two of you or grab a table for a group. The Press has an awesome craft beer list with lots of local options and good pub grub. The burgers, wedge salad and steak fries are my go to, but that's always dependent on what's the daily special. Sunday steak night is also a good value.“

“Bodega is one of those places that knows exactly what it is and leans into it. A low-key, no-frills neighborhood dive with just enough charm to make you want to hang out longer than you planned.

The funnel cake fries are the real surprise hit. Crispy, fluffy, perfectly dusted with sugar and dangerously easy to keep eating. I honestly came in for a drink and left thinking about those fries.

Huge shoutout to Salim behind the bar. Super friendly, attentive, and bringing just the right mix of smooth and playful energy that makes you feel welcome the moment you sit down. He made the whole experience better.

Bodega may not be trying to be fancy, and that’s part of its appeal. It’s a relaxed, easygoing spot with good vibes, great service, and snacks that punch way above their weight.

“Ashley was a wonderful server, extremely accommodating! Her suggestions helped me pair the right drink with my mood and my meal! The food was phenomenal. We shared deviled eggs and steak egg rolls. The eggs were top -tier, and the egg rolls basically melted in our mouths. We ordered the prime rib with mashed potatoes, and our friend had the grilled salmon with orzo. We need boxes. We took home dessert. Coming here was the best decision we made last weekend.“

“Went on Valentine’s Day without reservations. Were told a 45 minute wait for a table, or immediate seating at the bar. We chose to sit at the bar. Our waiter Maurice was quick to provide service and very friendly and informative. We both ordered the pacific combo and it was delivered in probably 10 minutes! It was outstanding and we were so stuffed we couldn’t even finish it, all the crab legs were filled with meat (never got an empty one) and everything was exceptional. We drove 2 hours to eat here and would do it again! Thank you Maurice!“

“Went here on a whim when we got hungry and a bunch of other places were closed. We had Becca as a server, and she was absolutely PHENOMENAL. Extremely attentive without being overbearing, positive without being fake, quick with refills and checking on us. And props to the cooks and bartenders, my drink was flawless and the food was seriously out of this world, I'm tempted to go back for the cheese curds alone. Zero complaints, can't recommend this place enough.“

“Flip Side Burgers is located in a great plaza with a fantastic atmosphere. The area is full of restaurants, coffee shops, and places to grab dessert, making it a perfect destination to spend some time before or after your meal.

The burgers were excellent. We tried the Smash Burger, which was juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. We also decided to try one of their more unique creations with peanut butter and a sweet-and-spicy jelly, and it completely exceeded our expectations. It may sound unusual, but the combination was absolutely delicious and worked surprisingly well.

The customer service was friendly and attentive, making the overall experience even better.

The only downside was that it was extremely hot inside the restaurant, which made it a little uncomfortable while dining. Other than that, everything was great.

If you’re looking for creative, high-quality burgers in Columbus, Flip Side Burgers is definitely worth a visit. We’d happily come back to try more of their menu.“
