“This is top 2 best bakeries coming from a CA girly. My first time visiting Ohio and we came back 3 times in a week. The minimal design showcasing all the fantastic desserts was beautiful. We had the pistachio tart, chocolate bombe & crème brûlée eclair. I DIED! The eclair was our favorite, perfect execution of texture and sweetness. Its a must if you're debating on what to choose. We opted to dine out on Easter for the first time ever because of the special Easter menu. It was a great menu with lots of interesting options. I ordered the Tecchino (turkey breast rolled with mortadella and spinach). I would say the spinach-mortadella center was a bit bland and the turkey itself was overwhelmingly salty. But that did not alter how much we love Nicola and loved our Easter meal. It was a lovely day and we will be back again soon.“
“A Grandview favorite of mine with a huge assortment of unique ice cream flavors and flavors that accommodate a wide range of dietary restrictions including gluten-free, nut free, and dairy free. The space is rather cozy which may make it difficult for wheelchair users to completely navigate. The line to order itself is rather narrow when chairs are pushed away from the wall and though the bathroom is completely accessible once inside the space provided to reach the bathroom is too slim for any wheelchair. This may pose an issue for those with mobility disabilities. There is also a lack of handicap buttons entering and exiting the establishment. Other than that, there is plenty of accessible seating including a rounded nook with a table low enough for a wheel chair user to pull right up with tons of outdoor seating with lower set tables. Though decorated with color and lights, I found that it was very clean, quiet and far from overwhelming for individuals with sensory disabilities. “I'm very split on this place. I love that they clearly use high quality ingredients. I love that they have creative baked goods and breakfast/brunch items. I love the decor. However it is very expensive. Which would be fine, except half of the time (out of 4-5 times) I have gotten a meal here it has been bland. If I order a ham biscuit with horseradish sauce, that should have a ton of flavor, but lo and behold, somehow that happened (although the biscuits have always been consistently good). Where do you buy bland ham from? The service is generally quite dry... I always kind of get the impression that I'm an inconvenience. The employees aren't overtly mean or disrespectful, but they don't really do much to make the place feel welcoming. Again, that'd be fine if it weren't for the lack of consistency and the prices. However their desserts have always been very good, and I always like to see what seasonal pie they are doing. It's hard for me not to step in and buy a slice when I'm walking by on the sidewalk. You'd find me coming here much more often if they could make their breakfast/brunch consistently good enough to justify the high prices.“

The Burrata is what we always share together, and this time the tomatoes tasted like a bitter salsa. The meatball in my pasta was undercooked so much that it just mashed into a bolus of meat slurry, and my wife got the ravioli mezzaluna that was a salty mess with the texture of mashed potatoes. Please do better, we love this restaurant and we want to go here, but we won't be back to this location until the food improves.
