“Cute coffee shop! Tried “I Yam What I Yam” which had a nice pumpkin flavor that wasn’t overly sweet. My friend asked for an Iced Cappuccino and the staff very kindly explained how they could accommodate an unusual request which showed their patience and focus on great customer service! The interactive downtown map was super helpful finding and navigating between hot spots in the area.“

“We love ChaSha! Driving from two hours away and it’s totally worth it! From the food, to the drinks and to the desserts, everything on the menu is fantastic. It’s Pakistani street food and chai items which are perfect for breakfast, lunch, dinner or anytime in between. Excellent portion sizes and so flavorful! “What a cute lil shop. I have wanted to try this coffee shop for a minute, but I've always worked past two. Today I finally got my chance. Ordered a Lavender Cold Brew. It was delightful. And only $4! The cup is compostable, truly, and as a gardener I simply love that. I told the cashier it was my first time and she was so polite and welcoming and helpful when ordering. “Simple interior you order on a tablet and food is done. Fun clean space! FIRST PLACE I've seen anywhere in Ohio/Indiana region serving the trendy Korean Egg Sandwich, so had to try it! I've also never had a tea leaf egg and gave it a go. Both were great, that egg sandwich is AMAZING with a thick slab of creamy perfect egg, great toasted bread.“

“Accessibility Review: As a frequent coffee shop studier, I enjoyed my time getting work done at Gata Magica Cafe and Lounge. As I worked and evaluated the accessibility of the establishment, I noticed upon entering that the tables and chairs on the first floor level are placed tightly together which may be difficult to maneuver around with a wheelchair or walker, especially when the walkway areas are crowded with customers. The upper level is more spread out and spacious, however, it is only accessible by stairs.

As for sensory elements, this coffee shop had a very relaxing atmosphere with a quiet noise level besides the occasional coffee machine sounds and low level of chatter. The lighting was also very relaxed and dim without any fluorescent lighting which helps to create a less stimulating atmosphere for those with sensory sensitivities.

While the menu display itself did not have braille or text reading abilities for the blind or visually impaired, the baristas were very helpful and I’m sure would happily assist a customer by reading the menu aloud if needed. They could make this even more accessible to people with vision impairments by adding an electronic menu option that is screen reader compliant. The pay station was a touch screen tablet and did not have screen reading capabilities that I was aware of, so this may also be difficult for those who are blind or visually impaired to process their payment and pick a tip option independently.

The bathroom had a door with a code lock which may be difficult for individuals who have difficulty with fine motor skills. However, once in the bathroom, there is plenty of space for maneuverability with support railings around the toilet. The sink is at a low enough height to be accessed by wheelchair, however, the soap and paper towels are much higher and would be difficult to reach from a sitting position. The toilet is a manual flush, helping to reduce unexpected sensory input of a loud, unexpected flush.

Overall, I understand that there are limitations on building structures on High Street, but this accessibility is important to consider and for potential disabled customers to be aware of.“

“Everyone working is always so friendly and talkative, they care about their guests! They have orders memorized for their regulars and they serve with smiles on their faces. The coffee and drinks are always delicious and consistent. Their jalapeno and cheddar bagel keeps me alive in the mornings and the Café Bon Bon is great for espresso lovers, I used their recipe as a guideline for making coffee at home on the weekends now. The environment is eclectic and adorable, a great place to read a book on your lunch break.“

“I walked to this coffee shop from the Hotel LeVeque for my morning coffee. I ordered an Espresso and a pour over. Both beans were on the placard at the register and priced at market pricing. The total bill was sub $10. The espresso was good, very flavorful, but was nothing compared to the Pour Over which was the absolute best cup of coffee I have had.

“Great community place for coffee. I got a latte with pumpkin flavoring and it was good - it was more on the gingerbread smell profile and the coffee itself was good. I also get a bag of cat treats when I'm there because my kids like the brand they offer.

Shop itself is a cool little shop with plenty of seating. They sell books, art, bagged coffee and tea.

“My wife introduced me to Pistacia Vera. She spoke highly of the macaroons and how they were so much better than another place she'd previously visited regularly.

I finally decided to try it out, and although I didn't have the macaroons, what I did have was excellent. I had the Lemon Tart and the chocolate bombe.

It's a small place, and it was very busy when I went. However, the service was quick and friendly, so being temporarily cramped for space wasn't a big issue.

They do have outdoor seating, so that's a plus on nice weather days. Overall, my visit to Pistacia Vera was well with it, and I'd recommend everyone try them out.“

“This was by far the most welcoming cafe me and my kids have ever visited. My daughter wanted water, so we came in and the atmosphere was beautiful, very welcoming and modern. While ordering the water, I was asked if it was my first time here. Because it was, he gave me a free drink on the house. I chose a chai latte and it tastes amazing. Later someone asked me why we were visiting and I told her it was for my daughter's birthday. They then gave us a completely free gift bag with a notebook, a mug and pins. “I mean what can you say? It’s a classic. I go here for my Greek food all the time when Apollo’s is closed.

Is it always good? No. Is it usually good? No.

But this place serves its purpose. No other establishment lets me stumble in at 3 in the morning to order a gyro. With Waffle House gone, essentially no place is even open 24 hrs anymore.
