“I got this pastry here that was a wheel shaped croissant that had this perfectly citrusy yuzu custard filling and like, whipped toasted marshmallowy stuff on top and I'm telling you, I literally was looking around at the people working there because I thought for sure if I could spot the person who made this they would have like, a golden aura or something, like god came down and blessed them personally. I don't even care about other pastries now.“
“One of my favorite coffee places ?☕️ love getting regular or vanilla latte, I like their ham&chees swirl, cinnamon roll, blueberry galette and chocolate diamond. I’ve been to all of their locations but the one in German village is my favorite, but it’s so hard to find a parking spots at all of their locationsParking: So hard to find a parking spot“
“My fiancé and I love coming here. We grab lattes every weekend and are never disappointed. It’s the perfect grab and go latte spot. The drinks are affordable and seriously delicious. Everyone who works there is always delightful and makes for a joyful experience. 10/10 recommend.“
“This place right here is IT!! It is a gem, the food is phenomenal. It's super small but has a comforting environment. We have had several different menu items and everything is amazing. Everything is homeade and made to order. The hash is unbeatable and the biscuits and gravy is like a grandma would make. Now let's talk about pricing, their prices are so good. This is hands down the best breakfast spot I've ever ate at in my 33 years.“
“I love this place. The best bubble tea in town. I’ve been going here since they first opened when I lived nearby. I live across town now, but I will still drive to get their tea. It’s that good. The Just Peachy is the best peach iced tea I’ve ever had. I also love so many of their other drinks as well. The service is great too.“
“Love this little place we found passing through on travel. Such a cute atmosphere, lots of customers and people there visiting or working.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian choicesDietary restrictions: Lots of gf and vegan options! Yummy looking too.Parking: Street parking in front and also on the side of the building.“
“From the moment we walked in the owner was a literally saint. Everything was made to perfection. We ordered the Oreo Crepe (10/10) then we ordered the Ohio Blackout, the O Supreme and a Vanilla Shake for my son’s birthday. Everything was not only beautiful but delicious!!! We can’t wait to come back !!“
“This is top 2 best bakeries coming from a CA girly. My first time visiting Ohio and we came back 3 times in a week. The minimal design showcasing all the fantastic desserts was beautiful. We had the pistachio tart, chocolate bombe & crème brûlée eclair. I DIED! The eclair was our favorite, perfect execution of texture and sweetness. Its a must if you're debating on what to choose. The tart was next fav and chocolate bombe was good but I prefer cake over a mousse. Tried all the seasonal drinks. The honey butter latte was the winner. Staff is professional and friendly. The cherry on top would be if there were more seating inside or outside. Im obsessed with this place and it'll always be a non-negotiable when I visit.“
“I went here with my friends today (she got the reservation so I can’t comment on the reservation system-but it seemed to go smoothly) and really enjoyed the experience! The staff were pretty unpleasant (except the shorter girl with the brown hair and ponytail), the girl working at the front desk kind of seemed like she hated her life, and the other girl working the session after ours with the frizzy blonde hair and classes seemed super tired and disinterested. My food was ok, the bubble tea was good (came in a cute container) i just didn’t like it that much and i wish my churro donut was warm. But, alas. Ok enough negative, the KITTIES!! They were great and they had a lovely play area, super cute in there! Sweetest kitties i have ever met, they’re totally good with going up to them and petting bellies (most of them at least) and there was one kitty that was spotted that was super playful. I wanted to adopt them all!! Loved the kitties that was the best experience but service and food could’ve been better overall like it a lot and i would come back.:)Kid-friendliness: You probably shouldn’t bring your kids here because the kitties are sensitive to sound (and kids have the tendency to get excited and run)… So bring your 14 year old more mature kids and keep in mind the rules… lol“
“I have passed multiple times and had the time today to stop in. It was everything a neighborhood coffee shop should be: great aroma of coffee and food, wifi, eclectic mix of tables/bar stools/pamphlets, and a super friendly barista! The house blend was really great and excellent taste. Will be back - with a few friends!! “
“By recommendation, I popped by Bake Me Happy to find a good treat. I ended up with a coffee cake muffin. It had cinnamon inside and frosting on top. The appearance was fantastic. I'm not used to gluten free, but I'm trying. So that I could eat it immediately, I got a chair out of my hatch and sat right there in the parking lot to enjoy it. It's cool to get a feel for the neighborhood. These guys have all sorts of ground coffee, gluten-free beer, tea, dry goods and refrigerated items, along with actual coffee shop items. This building used to be an old post office. They moved to this location about 2 years ago. It's a mile or so from the old spot, but has way better car and foot traffic. I would definitely have gotten some more stuff, but I'm about to have a hell of a day in Columbus.#onforkstoforks #eatlocal #foodie #coffeeshop #GlutenFree #donuts“
“I stop here on my commute from Columbus to up north of Akron sometimes and the coffee never disappoints. They make the flavor syrups from scratch which to me means they aren't as sickly sweet as the ones that come in a bottle at other coffee shops. Today I tried the food, I didn't know what to expect from Vegan food as I rarely have it, I was a little skeptical but wow was the egg scramble bun absolutely delicious, I almost went back in for another! Will definitely be back. Love this place! ?Dietary restrictions: They are definitely conscious of vegan needs and as a meat eater I will say the vegan food does NOT disappoint. Amazing.“
“One of our favorite places in town, me and my fiance stop in at least once a week! The staff is very friendly and communicative. The food is delicious! And the cafe is very cozy!Wheelchair accessibility: It is a little tight, but it IS wheelchair accessible.“
“Food was good, not the best but good. Service was excellent. My strawberry shortcake pancakes were good, they were a little raw. Sft very good. Eggs Benedict were ok, avocado was too ripe. The sauce on the eggs was bland. No flavor at all.“
“Tabletop is a wonderful place to hang out for a hours with your friends... They have tons of fun games to choose from that are organized with a helpful color-coded system. What it may lack in atmosphere is more than made up by the friendly, helpful staff and delicious food and drink selections. Highly recommend!“
“I pride myself as professional amateur barista but we lost power since last night due to the tornado so I have to go elsewhere for espresso drink ?Stumbled across this little unassuming joint and boy it’s good! I normally don’t like flavor latte but the Gochujang mocha caught my attention and it’s gooooood! Imma gonna try to make my own syrup nowIt has some really unique flavor, orange and clove? Pandan? If I come back (it’s totally out of my way) I’ll definitely try them all !“
“I'll bump up my original review. I tried the apple fritter before leaving Columbus and it was great. I love apple fritters and if I'm somewhere that has them I'll try it. This was big, light and fluffy and delicious. Some get too heavy and greasy, this one was just right. Well done.“
“The food was delicious. Service is very friendly in general and kids friendly! We are not from the area and were very well received. We will come back and definitely recommend the place.Kid-friendliness: The owner is very accommodating with kids, she even put their favorite show on TV.“
“Nice area to get work done. The WiFi seemed questionable at times but I'd need to go back a few times for a better assessment. Staff all nice. Parking was free with 3hr limit posted on the signs. It was sunny when I went and enjoyed a calm walk exploring the area when I was done. I plan to come back periodically.“
“The coffee is so good. Spectacular. Delicious. So good that I went back multiple times. If you’ve gotten this far in my review, you should’ve already put the address into your GPS & should be on the way there. By far the best latte I have ever had.It is a coffee shop so there is ample seating, lots of planets, and it is decorated nicely.“
“The pastry selection is huge! There's something for everyone. They taste delicious too. It is a bit chaotic inside, very bustling and the seating is very close together which I didn't love. Staff was amazing and was constantly bringing out fresh pastries! Pastries I tried: - Coffee pastry - Hotdog pastry Blueberry and cream pastry - Spinach and feta“
“Amazing, made-to-order donuts! They were super fresh, warm, and they melt in your mouth. We got the fruity pebbles, honey blue, and The Mitch and loved them all! They serve Crimson Cup coffee which is also a favorite. Highly recommend!Dietary restrictions: Plenty of GF options“
“This is my favorite coffee shop in Columbus, because of the owner, the best barista in Columbus. Raymond is passionate about coffee and teaching others about how his products are sourced, and what makes them unique. He comes up with great specialty drinks with various herbs, spices, and fruit to keep things interesting in case you want to mix it up a little and try something new. His staff are well trained and knowledgeable about what they're making, and their expertise shines through all their drinks and snacks.Dietary restrictions: Coconut, oat, soy milk alternatives.Parking: Giant parking lot that fills up fast on the weekend.“
“We’ve come to Global Gallery for a long time and have even played music here. (I have a band with my husband) but this time when we stopped we were so delighted with the 6oz cappuccino from Joe. He knew just how to make it in the traditional way that is sometimes unusual for a lot of coffee shops. It’s nice to see a good place continue grow and enjoy the growth of the quality of drinks too. So yummy! We will definitely go again when we’re even remotely nearby.I’ve also always loved the large outdoor seating area and cozy inside dining space full of eclectic art on display and for sale. Such a great local shop!“
“I loved this place's friendly employees and atmosphere, and the drinks are comfort in a cup. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying more!Dietary restrictions: Offers milk substitutes.Wheelchair accessibility: No wheelchair accessible entrance.“
“After seeing pictures of their fully loaded pastry cases, I made plans to go right away. Crème de La Crème has a very European feel, from the efficient but not saccharine women at the counter, to the light classical music playing, to the warm, seemingly sparkling tea room-esqe interior. It was very pleasant and beautiful inside. I had a cappuccino (very good), avocado toast, which felt a little small but plated nicely and good, and 2 items from the case. Though I feel a bit of guilt saying it, for narrative integrity I will disclose that the pastries were not very good. The eclair had a white chocolate robing, which was waxy and flavorless, much like the filling. The fresh strawberry cake was not very light, and while soaked nicely in a syrup, also did not have much fresh cream lightness, or many strawberries to cut through the mouth-coating fat content of the whipped cream and custard. I'm sure they were made that day (right?) but had in my heart I sensed they had languished in the case too long somehow. All and all, I would absolutely go back! This would be a very cute experience to bring a friend to catch up, order too many beautiful treats, and have an overall elevated cafe experience. No hipsters in sight, A+“
“This was my first time at this eatery. I did an online order, and it was ready when I arrived. I looked for a pickup sign and notice one; the lady who came to the register was very nice and grabbed it for me instead of just telling me where to go.I got the Farmer with 2 smashbrowns. I couldn’t decide if I liked the smashbrowns or not (personal texture issue not necessarily taste). The sandwich was really good! The biscuit was good by itself and the combination of the sandwich with the apple butter was ?. I’m kind of sad I didn’t get another sandwich to take home with me, as I live out of town“
“Beautiful location, inside and out. The stained glass windows look great.Right when I took my first sip of the Almond Joy latte I knew it was the best latte I have ever had. Great taste, great price, great vibes.Maybe wish there were more outlets & seating but it was busier when I went.“
“I love coming here. There are so many choices. They even serve coffee for the not to keen on bolba drinkers. I try a new one each time I go in, and on my last visit, I got the unicorn milk latte, and l loved it! They have comfortable seating and an atmosphere where studying or just hanging out is perfect. They even have a few board games you can pull out and play. There's also a small bookshelf with books to read for the book lovers. Wonderful place and yummy drinks! The prices are pretty good too. Paid about $12 for two drinks.“
“Brioso is the only place in Columbus that has consistently managed to do my go-to order right. Their staff is always super friendly and their prices are much much better than most comparable shops that do in-house beans. Just wished there were more food options.“
“I am no coffee connoisseur. I couldn’t tell the difference between a drip coffee and a pour over if my life depended on it. From what I hear from the community, TWCH has amazing coffee. I go for lattes and cappuccinos and the fresh local baked goods supplied by Slice of Heaven Bakery. Now they’ve got a taco truck on site, which is the icing on the cake for us. The best part about TWCH is *The Vibes*. It is an awesome place to get together to have a meeting with someone. You can sit outside or in, as they have picnic benches and tables outside. On the weekends, you can catch local neighbors hanging out and chatting. It’s the perfect place to meet locals. And TWCH supports local businesses and local community non profits. Their commitment to the local community makes them extra special. This symbiosis puts them a cut above anyone else, in my opinion. I’m glad they’re in my neighborhood. It’s safe and inviting and I love it. The murals are the best!!Kid-friendliness: I never feel weird bringing my young toddler in there. He loves jumping off the curbs and playing outside we the picnic benches. Traffic is never so bad that I’m concerned about his safety and the parking lot is separated really well from where he likes to play.“
“A vendor of ours brought their doughnuts into work today. They were A M A Z I N G.I had the chocolate covered bread doughnut with peanut butter frosting in the middle. It was so good, I'm going to take my kids here soon so they can experience for themselves. 100% recommend.“
“Can't wait until they get their own building. But the food is absolutely astounding. I would eat here every day if it was open when I get off work. I beyond recommend this place. I wish I could do promo work for them. But it's definitely worth the money and the time. ❤️“
“The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. My friends and I love German Village, and Stauf's obviously had to be our first stop, so we could explore with our coffees! The coffee shop has their main area, as well as another room for studying or working remotely. I will definitely be coming back to enjoy the ambiance!“
“pretty nice cafe attached to the lobby of the Junto! it's hard to find cafes that are open later and have a good amount of seating. it's cool they have alternative milks I've never seen before (cashew, pecan, pumpkin seed). 4 stars bc the lady at the front wasn't very friendly but overall very aesthetic and I'll be back!“
“Kerouac is my favorite coffee shop around osu’s campus by far. The coffee isn’t overpriced, tastes delicious, and there is a wide variety of other treats available. The best part of Kerouac is definitely its atmosphere. It’s open late and often will have live music or some sort of small performance. The lighting is perfect for a calm chat with a friend or sitting down to read one of the many books they have on the bookstore side of the shop. It’s definitely a more rustic atmosphere.Dietary restrictions: They offer alternative milk for those who do not consume animal products.“
“Fox In The Snow Cafe is a true coffee lover's haven! From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with an inviting and warm atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The coffee here is simply outstanding – rich in flavor, perfectly brewed, and consistently delightful. What sets this cafe apart is their incredible selection of homemade pastries and treats, each more delicious than the last. The staff at Fox In The Snow are always welcoming and attentive, adding a personal touch to the overall experience. The attention to detail in both their drinks and food, combined with the charming ambiance, makes this cafe a must-visit for anyone seeking a high-quality coffee break. Absolutely a top-notch café in every aspect!“
“Not often I feel compelled to write a review, but this is one of those times. Craft coffee is growing at a quick rate but very few places are hitting all the marks. This place has the atmosphere and product I always look for, but one thing that caught me by surprise was the level of service. Friendly, courteous baristas, and one of the better cups of coffee I have ever had. Thank you! I will be back next time I am in Columbus!“
“The drinks are delicious and the vibes are adorable! Please try the brown sugar milk tea! I don’t recommend the read bean topping; it isn’t sweetened a lot so it tastes like just BEANS in your SUGAR MILKWheelchair accessibility: Yay! The inside is very wheelchair friendly!“
“I've frequented many a coffee shop in my lifetime and the Nook is a stand out for me. The coffee and food quality surpasses expectation, but what really makes this shop glow is the staff. The same two baristas served me both times I came in and were so warm, friendly, and genuine. I sat and enjoyed my coffee while they greeted all these regulars coming in like they have been friends for years. I'm writing this review a month after my visit (I live in the PNW), and I still reflect on how spectacular my experience was at the Nook. Such a fine establishment!“
“This place was great! We moved to the neighborhood recently, and it's so wonderful to have a good cafe within walking distance. We were immediately greeted by the owners and thanked for coming in. Silvia took our order and was so sweet. The chicken salad and turkey burger were both delicious, and the coffee was incredible. We drank our lattes so fast we ordered a second round to go. The owner showed me around to the meeting areas and was so sweet and personable. I hate to think how much money I am going to be spending here, but glad to support this great business!“
“Greatest coffee in Columbus. Specifically the German village location. Friendliest staff, cleanest facilities, great tasting coffee with a variety of options. Love the new addition of the seating area in the back- great spot to read, but the music is turned on so loud back there that it makes it hard to concentrate. Any chance the volume of the music can be turned down by like 5-6 clicks back there?lol! Thanks and cheers!“
“The coffee here is amazing. It truly couldn't be better. However, they could work on the friendliness, and that starts at the top. The manager does not say hello or get to know your face or order. I find it extremely odd. Every other coffee shop where I've become a regular the manager has always been welcoming. Not here. Some of the baristas are friendly, but some say nothing. It makes for an odd experience when no one seems to be glad you're there. The coffee is ridiculously delicious though, and I'll keep going back but I wish they were nicer.“
“You would think this place is all about desserts, and they kind of are, but they also have great sandwiches, salads and I believe soups (I haven't tried the soups yet). Dine-in has ample seating. There is also a small bar if you prefer to sit there. You walk up and order at the counter, then go grab your own table. One of these days, I'll amend this review with photos and better descriptions of the food. I usually go here with girlfriends and ain't nobody got time for that on GNO!“
“Great vanilla latte and matcha latte! Not too sweet and the milk alternative options were great. Perfect place to study during the week as it’s not too busy in the morning/afternoon.If you don’t want to pay for the parking garage just park on street parking a couple blocks down.“
“I really like this place! I ordered an iced latte with oat milk and an iced matcha to see how they do both coffee and what their name says, matcha. I wasn't expecting my matcha to be sweet, but it was. Despite me not liking sweet things, it was just the right amount and not too sweet; it was really good! I would recommend that maybe the shop does a regular, unsweetened version, though. The only reason why I'm rating it 5 and not 4 stars was because of the iced latte. Lately many other cafes in Columbus have been producing coffee that has been acidic, but this one was probably one of the best I've had in town. I highly recommend for the coffee as well the matcha (if you like them to be sweetened).“
“Absolutely blown away by this place!!! I have lived around the corner and only thought they served tea. The food was amazing and super fresh ingredients, the atmosphere was cozy and relaxing and now I think I live tea trying the daily sample. Can’t say enough great things and can’t wait to bring my wife here!“
“My daughter said the bacon cheeseburger and the onion rings were easily 5 stars. My egg salad sandwich was... eehhh... not terrible, not awesome. The service was fantastic, the young man who took our order was so friendly, kind, and helpful. The employees keep the place so clean and neat when not busy, and the clientele was business-y. I will eat here again, maybe just try something else.“
“Buckeye has been around for many years. It is still a great place to pick up donuts for your crew, co-workers, or event. If you've seen my other posts, you know I like a good donut every now and then. I get mine to go, but they do have seating there. They are just south of downtown off Rt.23.Yummy!“
“I don’t normally write reviews, but I felt compelled to write one for Koffee Paradise. My kids and I love going to coffee shops, incentively treating ourselves while doing school work/reading. What I have found is that Koffee Paradise has hit all facets in what a cafe is ideally like! First off, the drinks that were ordered were amazing! I had the peppermint white mocha, which was literally the best tasting coffee I’ve had in years. Normally if I like something, I continue to get it and so far it has been continually consistent. I also had their matcha and ube cookies, they were delicious and will be ordering again. My kids had a frozen hot chocolate and a summer mist, both of which were fantastic. If you’re into aesthetics, this place is beautifully decorated. The theme has a calming nature feel that flows well throughout the store with plenty of seating; you can tell this design was well thought out. And lastly, the staff have excellent customer service. You will always be greeted with a warm smile and a friendly demeanor. In this day and age, it’s rare to find a cafe that hits all these things in a consistent manner. But Koffee Paradise seems to be that exception.“
