The vegetarians and omnivores in our family are both happy—we got tandoori fish, saag paneer, Navratan Korma, chicken saag, and tandoori shrimp with a naan basket and the vegetarian appetizer platter. You can go to Portia’s and feel completely good inside and out about the food you ate and supporting such a wonderful business. “Polaris Grill never disappoints. Made a reservation for 7pm on 2/17/2024. My girlfriend and I were sat right when we got inside a bit before our reservation. The Jimbo shrimp cocktail was pretty good, but I could do without the bed of chopped romaine under the shrimp. The 6 shrimp were cooked nicely and they gave plenty of cocktail sauce. I ordered a Manhattan and a old fashioned. Both were pretty good. I don't care for orange slices in my old fashioned, but it was potent enough to keep my mouth shut. Not overpowering, rather a noticable amount of bourbon. My girlfriend got a Delmonico with, what I believed to be, a sort of potato cake and veggie medley. I got a filet Oscar style with mashed potatoes and asparagus. My steak was slightly under medium rare, but it wasn't enough to complain or send back for additional cook time. The Delmonico had a bit more fat than I would have cared for, but that's a ribeye for ya. We also got the creme brulee for dessert. The dessert was awesome with a great bit of caramelized sugar on the top, fresh strawberries and a loaf of whipped cream. It was overall a great experience. This is probably my third or fourth time going to Polaris Grill and it has always been great. I hope this place lasts forever. Thank you again Polaris Grill and Luke Chaney for the great service. We completely understood if they weren't able to do this, but they made it happen and we didn't have to wait. We were so grateful! It was so wonderful to enjoy a meal all together. “Yesterday we had a pizza party at my home. I ordered a 17" half and half with a square cut. 1st half was a Don Corleone, the 2nd half was a Porky Fig. They made a mistake in the cut, so I had to wait 8 minutes while they baked a new pie. Then while I was waiting they gave me a gift card for their mistake. This I totally was not expecting. The pizza was awesome. The Porky Fig had a nice sweetness from the fig jam. The Don Corleone had just the right spice from the meat. Deweys has always had my favor taste buds, with variety of pizza option. Their salads are tasty also. All of this came up around $90.Fries were good and fresh, not frozen. They were very soft and could have been cooked longer to account for the steaming in the container.Plantain chips were amazingly good. They were crispy and fresh.We mostly got the papa y queso empanadas, 2 carne, and 3 queso.The carne was amazing and my husbands favorite! It is very juicy and flavorful and has a very good crust.The papa y queso was my favorite. Mashed potatoes and cheese. How could you go wrong. It was so good. The flavors, the simplicity all paired with the freshness of the habanero sauce, palta, and salsa criolla. The habanero sauce was hot but had so much good flavor. You could even taste the fruitiness of the habanero in it.The queso was very good and flavorful as well.Everything gets 5 stars except for the chimichurri, the owner warned my husband that it's think and it tastes better the next day. We ordered the 8.5 oz bottle, so everytime we poured it out, all we got was oil. So, it's not so great, and there weren't any empanadas left over to try next day. We gobbled everything up. If you are in a major city in Ohio, you are likely not far from sitting down to a big, hot bowl of well seasoned veggies, rice, and protein. We desperately need them in NY.Now, are they the cleanest places to eat? No. The tables are cleaned every so often, but you will likely encounter a smudge of sauce or a few grains of rice from the previous diner. Servers are too busy behind the counter cranking through customers, and the dining area is very much left to the honors system. The servers are friendly and will load you up with the items you request with a little prodding, but don't expect rays of sunshine with every interaction. To me, none of this affects their overall rating as the food fits perfectly in its niche of being, again, healthy, tasty, fast, cheap, and plentiful. Bibibop, don't change a thing.Vegetarian options: Lots of veggies to choose from, and the marinated tofu is quite good - I eat meat but still enjoy it.“

We fortunately picked Pasquales. We ordered the garlic knots. They are Huge, Crispy where they need to be and chewy not doughy. And so cheap!! We decided to try the Meat Lovers Pizza and the Penne and Meatball too. Neither dish disappointed. The crust is so thin and crispy but not burnt at all and the amount of toppings was very generous. We have a lot of leftovers to take home. We both decided we would make the 45 min drive to eat here again and again. The server Makayla (sp?) was very friendly and the speed of service was Great!! You can get it with different meats, but I LOVE the proportion of beans and rice, and the chicken is sometimes dry/overcooked. Even during one of the busiest days of the year (the day before Christmas) when I expected a long wait, the staff were working hard to serve people quickly and efficiently. The customer just ahead of me was very rude and disrespectful and tried to complain about being in line for over a half hour, when he had walked in at the same time as me and we were in line for less than 10 minutes. The staff and later the owner still gave him excellent customer service and tried to resolve his (false) complaint. They are always so friendly and hospitable.Today, as usual, all of my guests raved about how good the ham was. We have also purchased side dishes in the past which were delicious as well.
