“Didn't eat. Just had a drink with friends & I got there late. Prices are about the average for drinks.
Was told I needed to go to the bar to get my drink there was no table service. Waited about 10 minutes before someone came to take my drink order. Was told it was cash only and couldn't have a tab. That was fine I had cash.
A couple other people i was with had food as well as drinks. I was beyond surprised when the bartender who had told me cash only and no tabs approached asked them if they were ready to close out their tab or if they needed anything else. Both paid with a card.
I'm not sure if they are regulars there and that was why? I am not sure how often they frequent but this was my first time. The other person who was at the bar also getting a drink when I was there was told it was cash only and no tabs as well.“

“Very friendly atmosphere, the bartender was super friendly. Good beer selection on tap. Some fun games, pool, and Golden Tee. The music was great as well. The only downside is that they don't have a working kitchen, so you can't order food there.“

“We are from out of town and needed to feed 16 people after our original plan fell through. I called and spoke to Jeremy and he was quick to accommodate. I have to say the service was impeccable and so was the food. Every one of our orders was perfectly prepared and delicious. Our server ( I’m sorry i don’t remember her name, but I’m sure she knows who we are talking about) was amazing and professional and never missed a beat! I would highly recommend this establishment !! “Went here on a whim when we got hungry and a bunch of other places were closed. We had Becca as a server, and she was absolutely PHENOMENAL. Extremely attentive without being overbearing, positive without being fake, quick with refills and checking on us. And props to the cooks and bartenders, my drink was flawless and the food was seriously out of this world, I'm tempted to go back for the cheese curds alone. Zero complaints, can't recommend this place enough.“

“Solid sports bar. Wing sauces were pretty good. Sarache Bourbon not overly spicy but enough of a kick to make it interesting. Creamy Parm Garlic was the best sauce to go with it. Chicken sandwhich crispy and juicy. Lots of Tv's and clean enviornment

“We came here for a watch party that was advertised by the Columbus Blue Jackets. It was awesome! Sharon was our server, and she was very attentive throughout the evening. The food was good. I had the gyro and my partner had the chicken sandwich with hot honey. Both were delicious.

The restaurant is very nice and has the biggest TV’s I’ve seen in a sports bar. Aside from the bar, there are also kiosks/teller area for those who wish to place bets on the games.

The watch party was also well organized and fun. They had a raffle and the arena host from the Blue Jackets was walking around making sure everyone had a good time. The goal patrol was also around, along with a former player who was signing items and taking photos.

Highly recommend attending a watch party. Even when hockey isn’t in season, this is an awesome place to spot in to watch a game or grab a bite to eat!“

“Love this place, but really? Kitchen closes at 9pm during Ohio State and Notre Dame Championship game that started at 730. It’s 9pm, the house is packed, not an empty seat, not even halftime and the kitchen is closed. And they call themselves the number one place to watch the Buckeyes…kitchen would be opened if I ran this place.“

“I have not been to this roosters since they have remodeled the facility. I must admit it is very nice inside the new rehabilitated building feels like a larger amount of space. I like how the bar is in the middle. Being centralized is okay for everyone. You know. If you sit the bar you can see all around you and I think it's just good for the environment. Looks great in there. The food has not changed. It's even better. I like the new dry rubs they have. The lemon pepper is really good. The sweet barbecue is really good and also like their Caesar wrap that they have and I had that with fried chicken inside but I got the sweet barbecue rub and I had the sweet barbecue rub on my wings. I had a great server, my son and I after graduation sit on the patio. It's beautiful day in Columbus so Ohio very very good environment on a Saturday afternoon to have a meal at roosters. I still feel roosters has some of the best, if not the best wings in town, especially if you like your wings cooked a certain way. I like mine fried extra crispy but also the customer service is outstanding being met at the door. You know ask where I would like to sit, and didn't have us standing there waiting looking around for a seat. I think that's very important when you come into a restaurant ready to eat and you just standing around 10 minutes. Trying to figure out what's going to happen and you haven't been taken for a seat or let knowing it'll be a few minutes. I do like that. Overall. This roosters has everything you need and the restrooms are clean too. So I can't complain. That's the top. The whole review off is the restrooms were very clean.“

“We were in town for a volleyball tournament and stumbled upon Flatiron Tavern on Friday afternoon. After one visit, it quickly became our go-to spot for the entire weekend.

What immediately stood out was the welcoming, neighborhood feel. The front door was wide open on a beautiful summer afternoon, creating the perfect atmosphere to relax after a long day. The staff made us feel like regulars from the moment we walked in. Gunner, Drayven, Katie, Emma, and Brent were all incredibly friendly, personable, and attentive. Their genuine hospitality is what kept bringing us back throughout our three-day stay.

We were traveling with kids, and the staff was very accommodating when our kids sat at a separate table. It’s those little touches that make visitors feel comfortable and appreciated.

The food, drinks, and overall atmosphere were consistently enjoyable, but what really sets Flatiron Tavern apart is the people. Every visit felt relaxed, welcoming, and authentic.

The one exception was a staff member who came on shift during one of our visits and again on Sunday. The energy of the room noticeably changed. She seemed overwhelmed and scattered, and the warm, easygoing vibe that had defined our previous experiences disappeared. On Friday, she immediately closed the front door, cutting off the fresh air and open atmosphere that had made the space so inviting. While everyone has off days and busy shifts, the contrast between her approach and the rest of the staff was significant.

That said, one employee doesn’t define a place. The overwhelmingly positive experiences we had with the rest of the team are the reason we’ll remember Flatiron Tavern so fondly. If we’re back in the area for another tournament, we’ll definitely be returning. It’s the kind of local spot every town hopes to have—a place where good food, good drinks, and genuinely good people make you feel right at home.“

“We were in town for a Buckeyes game. Our AirBnb was about two blocks away so this was so convenient. We loved everything about it. The atmosphere as soon as we walked in, we knew we’d love it. The owner greeted us at the door and welcomed us. We had the pizza which was great! The pretzels were also amazing!!! Would definitely recommend!“

“This bar epitomizes the home town old school vibe(this bar has been in business since the 1930's)! Punky and Aggie behind the bar are pure awesomeness! I am from Cleveland and always look for old school bars when I travel. This bar is one of the best I ever stopped into. Aggie today (has been here 13+ years) had homemade deviled eggs and pickled eggs with beets. Amazing! Literally one of the best bars I have ever been into during the day! Holler!!!“

“We love this place. My fiance and I go for Friday night dinner date night. We always have great service and great food. They have a great happy hour everyday from 2-6. It's always such an inviting atmosphere. They have been making upgrades to the place. It looks really nice. This have booths now with high backs so your meals are in more of a private setting. You can barely see the tops of people's heads. They also have the robot that brings your drinks over to your table. I'll add some pictures soon. I love this place. And the jumbo house margarita is all you need.“

“The hospitality we were shown this weekend was unmatched. It was a cold evening and we were wanting to feed our 6 and 8 year olds before going to a concert. The wait was well over an hour and half for a table. The staff and owner not only gave my children free drinks but they found us a spot out of the way so my children could eat pizza without waiting. “My wife and I came here for Blackbird Burrito which the food is incredible for the price. Fresh as fresh can be and the burrito was fully loaded like Chipotle used to be.

What surprised me is I went to the bar and ordered a Guinness. I then watched in absolute joy that they knew how to pour a proper Guinness. As they say it was an absolute creamer. 9/10 Guinness pour. I only deduct a point because it was in a standard pint glass and not a Guinness glass.“
