“I play in a pool league and cornerstone is my teams home bar. The food comes from Angie's pizza and I have always been satisfied with their food quality. The bar has reasonable prices and is fairly clean. The restrooms are decently clean and not run down. The pool tables are not the worst. Not the best. They're acceptable bar tables. I prefer this bar to most other ones we play at in the league. the main thing that separates this bar from a lot of other bars we play at is the bartender Carrie, her level of service and attention is phenomenal and I don't think there's another bartender in Gahanna I like nearly as much for the quality of service I get.“

“Didn't eat. Just had a drink with friends & I got there late. Prices are about the average for drinks.
Was told I needed to go to the bar to get my drink there was no table service. Waited about 10 minutes before someone came to take my drink order. Was told it was cash only and couldn't have a tab. That was fine I had cash.
A couple other people i was with had food as well as drinks. I was beyond surprised when the bartender who had told me cash only and no tabs approached asked them if they were ready to close out their tab or if they needed anything else. Both paid with a card.
I'm not sure if they are regulars there and that was why? I am not sure how often they frequent but this was my first time. The other person who was at the bar also getting a drink when I was there was told it was cash only and no tabs as well.“

“Very friendly atmosphere, the bartender was super friendly. Good beer selection on tap. Some fun games, pool, and Golden Tee. The music was great as well. The only downside is that they don't have a working kitchen, so you can't order food there.“

Extremely attentive without being overbearing, positive without being fake, quick with refills and checking on us. And props to the cooks and bartenders, my drink was flawless and the food was seriously out of this world, I'm tempted to go back for the cheese curds alone. Zero complaints, can't recommend this place enough.“

“We have been to Double Barrel several times and it never disappoints. My BF loves the Korean wings while my favorite is the grilled chicken sandwich. Sky has been our server the past couple times we’ve been there and she is the best! Very attentive and friendly. Our only minor complaint was the volume of the live music. It’s nice to have live music but not at the level where you need to shout to the people you are eating with and the server. We will definitely be back but may avoid live music nights and just stick to football games.“

“This was my first visit to Koble Grill and will not be my last. I plan on returning real soon. Lea was our server and she was FANTASTIC. We had a party of 4 and everyone loved their food. “We came here for a watch party that was advertised by the Columbus Blue Jackets. It was awesome! Sharon was our server, and she was very attentive throughout the evening. The food was good. I had the gyro and my partner had the chicken sandwich with hot honey. Both were delicious.

The restaurant is very nice and has the biggest TV’s I’ve seen in a sports bar. Aside from the bar, there are also kiosks/teller area for those who wish to place bets on the games.

The watch party was also well organized and fun. They had a raffle and the arena host from the Blue Jackets was walking around making sure everyone had a good time. The goal patrol was also around, along with a former player who was signing items and taking photos.

Highly recommend attending a watch party. Even when hockey isn’t in season, this is an awesome place to spot in to watch a game or grab a bite to eat!“

“First time here coming to see a friend's band play. Leaving this review specifically to mention that the service was excellent! I've been to a lot of establishments like this in the past, but this was the first one where the servers (sorry if that's not the right term) were regularly checking on us AT OUR TABLE to make sure we had everything we needed. The only time we needed to get something at the bar was when we first arrived.

I ordered the spicy garlic wings there and they were PERFECTLY cooked and sauced! The only reason I couldn't eat them all was because I ordered too many! The live show sounded good as well (clear audio and not overly loud) and their lighting setup was one if the best I've seen locally.

Very good experience here. Wouldn't hesitate at all to come back! Thanks for taking such good care of us!“

“We were in town for a volleyball tournament and stumbled upon Flatiron Tavern on Friday afternoon. After one visit, it quickly became our go-to spot for the entire weekend.

What immediately stood out was the welcoming, neighborhood feel. The front door was wide open on a beautiful summer afternoon, creating the perfect atmosphere to relax after a long day. The staff made us feel like regulars from the moment we walked in. Gunner, Drayven, Katie, Emma, and Brent were all incredibly friendly, personable, and attentive. Their genuine hospitality is what kept bringing us back throughout our three-day stay.

We were traveling with kids, and the staff was very accommodating when our kids sat at a separate table. It’s those little touches that make visitors feel comfortable and appreciated.

The food, drinks, and overall atmosphere were consistently enjoyable, but what really sets Flatiron Tavern apart is the people. Every visit felt relaxed, welcoming, and authentic.

The one exception was a staff member who came on shift during one of our visits and again on Sunday. The energy of the room noticeably changed. She seemed overwhelmed and scattered, and the warm, easygoing vibe that had defined our previous experiences disappeared. On Friday, she immediately closed the front door, cutting off the fresh air and open atmosphere that had made the space so inviting. While everyone has off days and busy shifts, the contrast between her approach and the rest of the staff was significant.

That said, one employee doesn’t define a place. The overwhelmingly positive experiences we had with the rest of the team are the reason we’ll remember Flatiron Tavern so fondly. If we’re back in the area for another tournament, we’ll definitely be returning. It’s the kind of local spot every town hopes to have—a place where good food, good drinks, and genuinely good people make you feel right at home.“

“We were in town for a Buckeyes game. Our AirBnb was about two blocks away so this was so convenient. We loved everything about it. The atmosphere as soon as we walked in, we knew we’d love it. The owner greeted us at the door and welcomed us. We had the pizza which was great! The pretzels were also amazing!!! Would definitely recommend!“

Some people like to make their own rules and do their own thing. This makes it difficult for everyone due to the short amount of weeks during league. “The hospitality we were shown this weekend was unmatched. It was a cold evening and we were wanting to feed our 6 and 8 year olds before going to a concert. The wait was well over an hour and half for a table. The staff and owner not only gave my children free drinks but they found us a spot out of the way so my children could eat pizza without waiting.
