“It’s been a very long time since I received great service, so this is worth sharing We set out for a causal anniversary dinner and ended up at Tupelo Honey. They seated us without a reservation and our server was the sweetest person I’ve ever encountered. At the end of our meal she brought us each a free dessert for our anniversary. This is typical for most places, but the dessert came with a card signed by the entire staff 🥰🥰🥰 They also sent us home with Tupelo Honey pint glasses. Such a sweet gesture and keepsakes. “A hidden gem in Columbus for the more relaxed and refined folk looking to have a chill night out. The Denmark offers a great European atmosphere, located on the 2nd floor of a building just across from the convention center. The large windows, low lighting, and casual seating arrangements all set the mood for great conversation amongst peers and intellectual discussions about the various oddities of life.

There aren’t many food options but this place is great with its cocktails. I think there’s always something for everyone, their menu regularly rotates through new unique drinks but has a good repertoire of their classics; The Elderflower Paloma and Mango Daiquiri are particularly exquisite. To my knowledge it’s only run by three guys, which means service will be a little lacking at times, but they’re all great bartenders and have a sweet personality behind their gruff exteriors. They’re just a trio, cut them some slack.

Theres chess sets, self serve water and various card and board games you can pull out from their selections which is complemented by the modern decor to make this place a routine stop for me when I’m out and about downtown. The only negative thing I have to say is that this place is usually very sparse and not as full as I would like it to be, highly recommend more people check it out and make it a regular stop for their nights out as well.“

“I've been to this location to enjoy dinner on multiple occasions. 85% of the time, the entire experience is fantastic, but my most recent experience left me wanting. Unfortunately, there were a number of issues tied to getting our bill correct, and then, adding insult to injury, I ended up going home with a considerable stomachache. Fortunately, it didn't end up being any worse than that, but let's just say I had some concerns on that drive. 😬 but besides that, the food was very tasty, came out quickly, and I believe was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone who comprised the party - being made up of eight people. That is another point: this location can accommodate larger groups as well as smaller groups. Also, I strongly recommend the chocolate chip cookie 🍪 , which I know couldn't have been the culprit of my stomachache, because I saved it to enjoy at a later time. In fact, the chocolate chip cookie is one of the primary reasons why I'm excited to go to Northstar whenever it comes up as a dining option! The homemade ginger ale and kombucha are favorites of mine, as well as the North Star Burger - and that is coming coming from somebody who is a meat-eater most of the time! Enjoy!“

The food always comes out perfectly and if there’s ever an issue, they take care of it immediately. This dining spot has such a great variety and I need to give a shout out to a particular server. “Bodega is one of those places that knows exactly what it is and leans into it. A low-key, no-frills neighborhood dive with just enough charm to make you want to hang out longer than you planned.

The funnel cake fries are the real surprise hit. Crispy, fluffy, perfectly dusted with sugar and dangerously easy to keep eating. I honestly came in for a drink and left thinking about those fries.

Huge shoutout to Salim behind the bar. Super friendly, attentive, and bringing just the right mix of smooth and playful energy that makes you feel welcome the moment you sit down. He made the whole experience better.

Bodega may not be trying to be fancy, and that’s part of its appeal. It’s a relaxed, easygoing spot with good vibes, great service, and snacks that punch way above their weight.

We alerted server of a food allergy her and the rest of the kitchen team went out of their way to clean out the fryer and put in fresh oil so that my niece could have french fries. This was super thoughtful. When we went, it was not super busy, but it did pick up quickly and get loud in the restaurant - though it is a sports bar, - it DOES carry restaurant quality, and I would most definitely recommend.
