“Nice American style fine dining. Dishes generally lean towards the sweeter end of the pallet. Meal comes with a starter of good bread, sweet cream butter and garlic. Friendly wait staff are knowledgeable about the dishes and check in an appropriate amount without being overbearing. They treat special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries to a little extra. We got a rose and dessert.“

“Really enjoyed our Saturday night dinner celebration for 9 of us celebrating my grandson’s UC graduation. From the appetizers to the desserts, the food was outstanding! The short ribs special was very good and we all agreed that the bay scallops and shrimp risotto is an outstanding dish! The entire staff is very friendly and for a busy Saturday night, we enjoyed excellent service! Highly recommend this lovely restaurant in downtown. “I am a frequent visitor to this location for Cap City fine diner. All the employees are wonderful and super friendly. “A hidden gem in Columbus for the more relaxed and refined folk looking to have a chill night out. The Denmark offers a great European atmosphere, located on the 2nd floor of a building just across from the convention center. The large windows, low lighting, and casual seating arrangements all set the mood for great conversation amongst peers and intellectual discussions about the various oddities of life.

There aren’t many food options but this place is great with its cocktails. I think there’s always something for everyone, their menu regularly rotates through new unique drinks but has a good repertoire of their classics; The Elderflower Paloma and Mango Daiquiri are particularly exquisite. To my knowledge it’s only run by three guys, which means service will be a little lacking at times, but they’re all great bartenders and have a sweet personality behind their gruff exteriors. They’re just a trio, cut them some slack.

Theres chess sets, self serve water and various card and board games you can pull out from their selections which is complemented by the modern decor to make this place a routine stop for me when I’m out and about downtown. The only negative thing I have to say is that this place is usually very sparse and not as full as I would like it to be, highly recommend more people check it out and make it a regular stop for their nights out as well.“

“Mom and I went for lunch yesterday and both ended up having breakfast! She got the buttermilk pancakes and I ordered the special pumpkin pancakes with cinnamon butter and tres leches drizzle. Mom loved hers and my was fabulous. I also had two links of sausage that were better than your usual mass made, which made me wonder if they get it directly from a butcher. The iced tea was also fresh and good.“

“Bodega is one of those places that knows exactly what it is and leans into it. A low-key, no-frills neighborhood dive with just enough charm to make you want to hang out longer than you planned.

The funnel cake fries are the real surprise hit. Crispy, fluffy, perfectly dusted with sugar and dangerously easy to keep eating. I honestly came in for a drink and left thinking about those fries.

Huge shoutout to Salim behind the bar. Super friendly, attentive, and bringing just the right mix of smooth and playful energy that makes you feel welcome the moment you sit down. He made the whole experience better.

Bodega may not be trying to be fancy, and that’s part of its appeal. It’s a relaxed, easygoing spot with good vibes, great service, and snacks that punch way above their weight.

“Hudson’s is usually our family’s go-to-place for special occasions. We were there on 6/20/26, celebrating Father’s Day. We usually have great food and great service, but we were a little disappointed on this visit. I got the swordfish special with peach chutney. The fish was overly seasoned and too spicy. Nowhere did it say on the description on the meal, did it mention spicy. I perspired uncomfortably due to it, which I generally do when foods are too spicy. The kale salad that was served with it was delicious and the peach pound cake was delicious as well, but with too few peaches.Husband said his French dip sandwich was not as good as usual, different type bun, and his fries were not hot .“

“Belly up to the bar if it's just two of you or grab a table for a group. The Press has an awesome craft beer list with lots of local options and good pub grub. The burgers, wedge salad and steak fries are my go to, but that's always dependent on what's the daily special. Sunday steak night is also a good value.“
