Andrea was our server and she was fantastic. Super friendly, greeted us with a genuine smile, and just made the whole experience feel welcoming from the moment we walked in. You can tell she actually enjoys what she does. We'll definitely be back, and I've already been telling people about it. Great food and great service.“

Since I have visited Scotty's Cafe I have been eating lunch here every day (literally 5 days a week), you can't beat the atmosphere the food is amazing and the owners are definitely one of a kind. High Bank exceeded all expectations! We left with a full belly and A bottle of whiskey to remember them by. Food was incredible. Service was incredible. “Fantastic spot with old pub atmosphere but cleaner. Beers were out of this world, all classic German, Czech and Belgiam styles executed with finesse and skill. Our bartender Rory was a Dame and a Scholar. Finger food like nuts, pretzles and even pizzas available (Not a full kitchen) l. Just enough to get that 3rd LUKR poured lager from the hand of a specialist. I'll definitely come back again.“

“I stopped in to the filling station for the first time ever yesterday, and was pleasantly surprised. There I met Devon who greeted me in a very timely manner. Was greeted with a smile and thanked me for stopping by. The service was impeccable. I later met Nicole who was equally attentive and provided fantastic customer care. Food was awesome and reasonably priced. Often times when I stop into a bar for the first time I’m ignored for the “regulars”. Not here on the contrary Devon and Nicole treated me as if I was a regular who had been going there for years!! Thanks to all I’ll be back.

“I came in to get breakfast to go . They were a little busy when I got there . I sat down and was gave silverware and offered a drink right away . I was accommodated by the regulars and Kate the waitress about what I should order since it was my first time. Regulars recommended I get a half order of French toast and half order of biscuits . Kate recommended I get the gyro since she likes it and its popular. I also ordered hash browns and scrambled eggs . I took the food home and the eggs were missing but they gave me a credit for those next time I come back . Everything tasted really good, loved the hash browns 10/10. The French toast and gravy was really good, the biscuits were a little crispy thou . Fiancé says gyro was okay but pretty dry not much meat 5/10. Will definitely be back Tuesdays threw Fridays when Kate Works !! Thanks for the great first experience. BTW this breakfast/lunch place is right next to panera !!“

“pros and cons. CONS.. If you were to base your visit on first checking out the cleanliness of the bathrooms before you eat, you'd turn around and leave. The men's room in the basement needs so much work and the multiple colonies of gnats was like visiting the basement of college kids from a party and cans and spilled beer have never been cleaned up. Horrible condition. The ladies refused to even look at theirs. Booths are small and tight. Definitely an old building, but it's kind of cool with its history. PROS... Those were some really really good burgers. Wife got the Ali and I got the Old School. Burgers are huge and easily splitable. We tried this after friends suggested the burgers and we were not disappointed. Onion rings were too greasy for us, but the fries and homemade chips were great. Alll and all, it's definitely an option to eat again when in town.“

The beer cheese was decent, but we were hoping for a bit more creativity or a “mystery dip” option to spice it up. Also… just give us one good cup of cheese with it instead of making everyone upgrade for a second portion. Small thing, but it stood out. As the sun set, the whole place started to feel like something out of a movie. Couples celebrating engagements, friends laughing over cornhole in the corner, and a casual, easy energy. The only thing missing? Some live music, especially for a Saturday night. 🎶 We found ourselves lost in conversation… time honestly stood still. It felt both lively and private, which is a rare combo these days. If I had one other piece of feedback, it’d be for a slightly bigger food menu and maybe a kiddo cut-off time around 7 PM, just so the evening crowd can fully settle into adult mode.
