Its nice when the drink tastes like the description says (my banana crumble drink was so yummy). Service was great, the Wednesday food truck was even good. Cant wait to try those card games/board games they have during our next visit! Glad we went!“

I had called around town to ask about a gold cake for my daughter’s golden birthday and Marie was responsive, professional, and up for the challenge. “FINALLLY!! A bbq spot that knows what they're doing! Beef ribs are superb ?! Baked beans are good, potato salad was ok though. I like more mustard in mine. I didn't care for Mac n cheese, it had a sweet aftertaste. I like to taste cheesy sharp cheddar and seasonings in my Mac n chz. It was overcooked:/. Otherwise bbq slaps! “I highly recommend Los Agavez Taqueria!! These are some of the best tacos we’ve had in Columbus. We got beef, chicken and pork street tacos. All the tacos were well seasoned and fresh. Los Agavez Taqueria also has exceptional customer service!!“

But closing here on the end of 2023, I would like to share a new to me favorite: the ube pandesal with cheese. I immediately ordered a dozen for a few days later to take and share with friends. Heads up: have you gotten coal the past few years because somehow you've ended up on the naughty list? Leave one of these gems out for Santa. Status change!!“

“It's one of my favorite beer bars that holds over 50 different beers from all over. They don't have food but do have a partnership with the pizza shop across the street and occasionally will have food trucks. The beertenders are top tier and gives you Cheers (where everybody knows your name) vibes when you enter the door!“

“Absolutely LOVED the garlic feta fries, the falafel plate, the 3-dips appetizer, the gyro sandwich and shawarma plate... “I got this pastry here that was a wheel shaped croissant that had this perfectly citrusy yuzu custard filling and like, whipped toasted marshmallowy stuff on top and I'm telling you, I literally was looking around at the people working there because I thought for sure if I could spot the person who made this they would have like, a golden aura or something, like god came down and blessed them personally. I don't even care about other pastries now.“

“Portia’s is the best, period. Not only is their food delicious and healthy, but the atmosphere is amazing too. You can tell how much love and care is put into this restaurant. From the effort they make in being eco-friendly and supporting other local businesses to how happy and friendly the staff is. You can tell the owner treats her employees well. All of these things together creates a dining experience unlike any other. You can go to Portia’s and feel completely good inside and out about the food you ate and supporting such a wonderful business. I like to try something new every time I go and everything is amazing, but I LOVE the waffles. Being vegan, I hadn’t had waffles in quite some time before I moved to Columbus and found Portia’s. “We came on an extremely busy night (St. Patrick’s Day weekend and during Ramadan) and the place was packed. We had a large group of 7 and the chef and staff went out of their way to get us seated, pushing tables together and checking on us multiple times to make sure we were comfortable. They all had smiles on their faces and were genuinely helpful. The food came out SO quickly, we barely had to wait. Everyone’s meals were delicious, and the hummus was divine. ? Highly recommend!“

“Edison Brewing Company has a wonderful location with nice facilities. The Peak space on the 4 th floor has expansive views over the airport and downtown Columbus. A great space for events of all types. Some smaller rooms if costume changes needed.“

“This is such a cool spot! The customer service is on point, the cashier was friendly and informative. They have a smaller, but items that we did try were delicious. The Boba teas were freshly made. They also had a dessert case with steam buns, cakes, and cake pops. The area was very clean and lots of anime decor! Definitely worth the visit.“

Brake lines took 10 minutes to fix, and we were not charged because of a technical difficulty on their end - fantastic customer service! The bill would have been WAY less than we anticipated anyway. “This is a cute little shop where all the products in there are local small business owners. All kinds of treats, toys, and goodies for your fur baby. Their cakes are so cute and inexpensive. You can order in advance or they have some selections on hand. I've been there twice and found what I needed both times. Friendly staff also.“

“Laid back brewery with multiple seating areas. The frozen Paloma was delicious and they let us try a few of the beers, varied selection. The staff were kind, very chill new age hipster feel. “I tried the goat over rice, it was delicious. I love the Somali rice; basmati rice cooked in a rich stock, spiced up, and with a bunch of vegetables in it too. I also had a beef Sambusa. Portions were generous and goat was cooked to perfection. The mango juice was excellent too. Sambusa was great. I will definitely be back, and may also try the American dishes too. Menu includes pictures to help if you're not familiar with the cuisine. I was curious about restaurant's name and I think it means 'to come together'?“

“I've frequented many a coffee shop in my lifetime and the Nook is a stand out for me. The coffee and food quality surpasses expectation, but what really makes this shop glow is the staff. The same two baristas served me both times I came in and were so warm, friendly, and genuine. “Jackie O's has long been a staple of Athens OH. If you're not from the area, you may have never heard of this sleepy little hippie-esque college town to the south east of Columbus, but Jackie O's is part of what gives it its character. Recently, Jackie O's opened a large location in the Columbus area, and it has been a hotspot ever since. They offer the same delicious beers brewed right here in Ohio, plus a list of seasonal cocktails. I've tried a few, but haven't tried many of their beers recently, as I am not a huge beer drinker. So far I have liked every cocktail I've tried except for the pickle martini. Pickles are my favorite food, but I hate sweet pickles, and it's definitely not made with regular dill pickles. It's strong but I was not a fan at all. The restaurant experience is fun, has a large patio with fireplaces, an upstairs, and plays home to Goood Friends, a great sandwich shop with a walk-up window. Definitely plan for parking to be an issue or to pay for it, as the on-site lot is super small and often difficult to find space in. Otherwise it's a great meeting spot for a group of friends and a good place to take out-of-towners.“

“This truck is unreal. The BEST tacos in Columbus!! The flavor is so amazing. We had the Al pastor, chorizo, pollo tacos, the rice, and beans and chips. the Al pastor tacos were my favorite! The chorizo tacos were also really amazing and flavorful. I would recommend getting the hot salsa with the tacos, the salsa is incredible. Such a great truck!! Will be coming back often.“

“Our absolute favorite date night spot in Pickerington. I, personally, am not much of a beer drinker, but the ciders are right up my alley! There is something for everyone at this brewery. The owners and staff are all excellent. Such a great community asset with frequent events. Cannot say enough good things.“
