“Chose this place to work on assignments after an appointment. Parking is just far enough from the medial office that I didn't have any problems. Had a delicious matcha and warm apple cinnamon muffin, got lots done in between chatting with the baristas. Clean, welcoming environment with great people who were extremely kind to me the entire time I was there. Will be returning.“

“Colin's is my favorite place for scones (Tuesday and Thursday), and bagels and coffee all days. Great place to get some words on the page, chat with neighbors, and learn all the latest sports-ball things. Now that the shop moved, it's even closer to my house! “Had breakfast there yesterday with my family. Management and staff were very friendly and efficient.. manager is friendly and such a kind guy. I felt as if I was in a small town as we struck up a conversation with the booth next to ours. My son and wife had a wonderful burger and fries with a old fashioned real scooped milkshake and I had the most delicious ham and cheese omelet . I can’t say enough good things about the experience. 5 star’s! Cant wait to come back!“

“It’s so nice having a Swenson’s close to home! There are now several in Central Ohio, but this was the first and remains my favorite. Friendly staff, fun monthly shake flavors, and all the old favorites (which I realize can be “acquired tastes” for those who didn’t grow up with them). If you’re new to Swenson’s, you may want to check out the menu online in advance since it’s not immediately obvious what a Florida or Ohio (or Galley Boy for that matter) is, and they can be hard to describe.“

“I came in to get breakfast to go . They were a little busy when I got there . I sat down and was gave silverware and offered a drink right away . I was accommodated by the regulars and Kate the waitress about what I should order since it was my first time. Regulars recommended I get a half order of French toast and half order of biscuits . Kate recommended I get the gyro since she likes it and its popular. I also ordered hash browns and scrambled eggs . I took the food home and the eggs were missing but they gave me a credit for those next time I come back . Everything tasted really good, loved the hash browns 10/10. The French toast and gravy was really good, the biscuits were a little crispy thou . Fiancé says gyro was okay but pretty dry not much meat 5/10. “pros and cons. CONS.. If you were to base your visit on first checking out the cleanliness of the bathrooms before you eat, you'd turn around and leave. The men's room in the basement needs so much work and the multiple colonies of gnats was like visiting the basement of college kids from a party and cans and spilled beer have never been cleaned up. Horrible condition. The ladies refused to even look at theirs. Booths are small and tight. Definitely an old building, but it's kind of cool with its history. PROS... Those were some really really good burgers. Wife got the Ali and I got the Old School. Burgers are huge and easily splitable. We tried this after friends suggested the burgers and we were not disappointed. Onion rings were too greasy for us, but the fries and homemade chips were great. Alll and all, it's definitely an option to eat again when in town.“

“I’d say this place (assuming it doesn’t change) is top 3 cups of coffee in Columbus and arguably possibly the best overall. I haven’t been enough times is why I hesitate to say with certainty and that’s because the consistency obviously will embolden the overall ranking of a place. But the coffee I have had here has been very good - even almost perfect. Very small place, it’s basically a to go experience. Really nice workers when I have gone. Cute area to explore in walking distance nearby.“

On a hot summer evening though, I would’ve loved to see a frosted glass option—the beer warmed up a little too fast for my liking. We ordered the giant pretzel, which definitely delivered on size! The beer cheese was decent, but we were hoping for a bit more creativity or a “mystery dip” option to spice it up. Also… just give us one good cup of cheese with it instead of making everyone upgrade for a second portion. Small thing, but it stood out. As the sun set, the whole place started to feel like something out of a movie. Couples celebrating engagements, friends laughing over cornhole in the corner, and a casual, easy energy. The only thing missing? Some live music, especially for a Saturday night. 🎶 We found ourselves lost in conversation… time honestly stood still. It felt both lively and private, which is a rare combo these days. If I had one other piece of feedback, it’d be for a slightly bigger food menu and maybe a kiddo cut-off time around 7 PM, just so the evening crowd can fully settle into adult mode.
