“Tried seafood gumbo for first time at Juneteenth on Ave Saturday and researched and found the food truck on Sunday. The gumbo is authentic and delicious. I'm eager to try other menu items. I'll be checking out the Gumbo Dude often.“

Ron was our server, he allowed time to enjoy our meal, but also made sure to check up on us. We ordered the classic boil and chicken jambalaya. Served quickly and warm! Today I met a friend there for dinner and we got Ismaelas a server. He got mad at us because our drinks weren't right. All we did was ask for something different. He did not like that. We got our new drinks after about 10 minutes. We ordered our food and he even repeated back to us what we were ordering as he was writing it down. Once our food came mine had onions and pico. Neither of which I eat. We waited a few minutes for him to come back around and I told him about my issue. He looked mad that I did not want the onions on my food. Literal just gave me a dirty look.I told him to just take it back and I do not need a replacement. My friend did eat his tacos. He didn't come back over to our table for a while. My buddy ran out of his drink for maybe 15-20 minutes. We told the lady at the counter but she didn't seem to care. Hopefully someone does. I've brought a lot of people to this establishment and I myself have spent a ton of money there bringing my family of 5. Ive left good reviews and always spoke highly of this place. I've always bragged about how they have it figured out. Well, today has somewhat ruined it for me. Never once were we rude or out of line. I'm guessing Ismael was having a bad day. Maybe I'll come back later in the future, maybe not. That's sucks because I really like their food.“

“Amazing birthday dinner.. I ordered twin lobster tails. We split a wedge salad and bread basket. Husband had teriyaki salmon which was melt in your mouth perfection. Free birthday dessert was warm butter cake with fresh fruit, ice cream and raspberry sauce. Absolute perfection and amazing service. Thank you for a great celebration.“

“The Barn is a higher-end restaurant in the New Albany area and another great concept from Cameron Mitchell Restaurants. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, with a beautiful interior and plenty of comfortable seating.

They’re also well known for their bourbon selection. Woodford Reserve even makes a special blend for The Barn. I definitely recommend trying it over a large ice cube so you can really enjoy the flavor.

For dinner, I had the lamb cooked medium-well with a fully loaded baked potato. The lamb was cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The entire meal was excellent.

Service was top-notch as well. The team was attentive, welcoming, and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the meal.

There’s plenty of convenient parking near the restaurant, which is always a plus. I’ve also heard great things about their Sunday brunch buffet, so that’s next on my list!

“I dined here for the first time yesterday and order the Fettuccine Alfredo w/chicken and a Caesar salad…both were absolutely delicious, the flavor was amazing and so was the Moscato wine which had the perfect amount of sweetness that I like! The breadsticks were amazing, they melt in your mouth. My server Aaron, was excellent, great personality with a wonderful sense of humor! I will definitely be back and will be making Milanos a regular place to have dinner! If you’ve never been here, I totally recommend giving Milano’s a try!!!“

“Wasn’t perfect, but closer to 5 stars than to 4 stars. Food was excellent. The server was not attentive or informed. I had to ask for dessert options. He’s getting a good tip, but he needs to know he can do better.
I had the prime rib, they had the pork tenderloin and the kabobs. Everyone loved it.

7/10/2026. Here’s an update.:
Let me preface this with the fact that our server was A-1, first class: Donya. But my prime rib was lukewarm when delivered. Salt shaker (grinder) didn’t work. Had to get one from a nearby empty table. It didn’t work. Waited for server to come by. She went to get a salt shaker somewhere. 5 minutes later, the lukewarm prime was now mostly cold. Been here many times. This was the only time it was bad, and it was pretty bad. A different server came out with our appetizer (sushi). She took it and set it down at the wrong table. Then the server who was behind her gave her a brief instruction so she took it to another table. Then the server gave her more instructions and she finally got the twice-offered appetizer to us. Not a good experience this time. Sorry.“

“I ordered a medium pepperoni pizza and some hot chicken wings. The pizza was fine the wings were horrible very wet without hot sauce It seems like they pour water in a hot sauce bottle shake it up and then pour it on the chicken because the chicken had no taste but you can smell the hot sauce. My son and I were confused about how the chicken was so wet but didn't see any hot sauce on the chicken. I don't know what type of sauce that was but it was horrible No flavor and just watery.“
