We got the Stirred Fried Water Spinach, spicy beef dry pot, scallion pancakes, beef tripe with chili sauce. Lots of parking outside. Came during lunch on a rainy day so we were seated immediately. Ordered for two people and there was enough to take home for dinner.“

“My previous visit to Molly's was not up to their standards. Reluctantly I gave a poor review thinking nothing would come of it. But I was wrong. The next day I got a call from their head chef. I explained what happened which most of it was about the experience and just a small issue with the actual food. He apologized and wanted to make it right. He said let me know when you are coming back and meal is on us. I came back a few weeks later and checked in like I always do. Just after our food arrived the Head Chef came to our table. He wanted to make sure everything was alright. Everything was perfect. I told him I have been coming here since it opened and the food is always good, but service has been off on occasions lately. This is the first time that someone from a place I gave a review took the time and seemed genuinely concerned and wanted to make it right. He didn't have to do what did. Especially a phone call and a in-person meet. Our server Justin was fantastic, we have had him before and he always does a great job. Thanks Chef Eric. You make a difference. “I have been looking for a place like this for years. When I lived in Southern California I had a place very similar. Other Columbus Asia restaurants are more Chinese focused it seems. Ordered for the first time tonight and I’m sold. Many future orders to follow“

“Excellent, delicious food! We spent time in India and had not enjoyed the food as well as today’s meal! The butter chicken (I had lamb) was so flavorful and the dal was delighted my palate on every spoonful. We will be back for more!“

“Great authentic Chinese cuisine. 👌 a wide variety of offerings, the beef rib skewers were delicious, as were the pan seared pot stickers.

Brought my wife here for a meal to make her feel better, as she was feeling a little under the weather, and I think it really did the trick. She was very happy and pleased with the meal. She had the braised beef noodle soup.

I had the Dan Dan hand stretched noodles, they were quite delicious and satisfying for a spice craving.

The service was great, and they had Boba tea available from the next-door Boba shop.

“Hands down the best Chinese food in the Columbus area. You can order anything from here and you won’t be disappointed. My personal favorite is the spicy wings with green onions. I give them 4/5 stars. I would give 5, but they are a little stingy with sauces and when you ask for more they just give you one more and you don’t want to keep asking for more, so you leave with less sauce than you want lol. But overall, highly recommended.“

“It’s always the “hole-in-the-wall” places that are the best and that’s the case with Eastern Wok. They make their dumplings in house and they are SPECTACULAR!!! I haven’t tried anything here that I didn’t like. Everything is stellar and the staff is top notch! They always make sure my kids are enjoying the food (they should know based on how often we come in that they do). Highly recommended and will continue to come back until I move or they close. Which I hope neither happens.“

“Was in Columbus for a concert and I walked a few blocks here for dinner. I didn’t see sweet and sour shrimp on the menu (only chicken & pork) and asked if they served it. They whipped me up an off-menu speciality on the spot. And it was terrific! Huge shrimp in a delicious sauce, big chunks of green pepper, etc. Their egg rolls were also nice and crunchy which I love and that seems to be harder to find anymore at places I try. The woman working was watching soap operas or something at full volume but I had earbuds in and was too distracted by the tasty meal to mind. “I checked out Hunan Bistro at the old K House location and had a great experience. The restaurant will be getting renovations and remodeling soon, but the food already impressed me.

We ordered the Egg Drop Soup, Hot & Sour Soup, Cucumber Salad, Salt & Pepper Crispy Fish, Mongolian Beef, General Tso’s Chicken, Stir-fried Pork with Chili Peppers, Stir-fried Beef, and Kung Pao Chicken.

My favorites were definitely the Cucumber Salad, Salt & Pepper Crispy Fish, and the Kung Pao Chicken all were packed with flavor and cooked really well. The menu has a lot of great options if you enjoy authentic style Chinese dishes with some spice and variety.

I also had the chance to meet the owner, Cai, and she was super cool and welcoming, which made the experience even better.

“Not the most appealing appearance on the outside and not the best location but.....HANDS DOWN THE ABSOLUTE BEST CHINESE FOOD IN COLUMBUS. I have eaten here since I was 9 years old. I have TASTED every Chinese restaurant in Columbus and this is the BEST,in my opinion! My family and friends also agree. Literally the entire family, from grandma, mom and dad, siblings, and all of our kids , it's the Best.

My absolute favorite place in Columbus been going there since I was about 11 years old and I’m 39 now Family goes there. My children have grown up loving it don’t get it wrong. “We went to the Ace of Cups to watch a performance by Galactic Empire yesterday and we're hungry so we went across the street to Northeast Chinese restaurant. This little hidden spot for most folks turned out to be some of the best Chinese food that I have eaten in my life and I have eaten Chinese food all over the world. The portions are huge, the price is good and the staff very friendly. I recommended anybody traveling through Columbus that might want some good Chinese food, to look this place up and go there and eat.“

We were surprised that the place had been closed for quite some time as it was our go-to place for Chinese takeout. It has been a staple for Marcus theatre area for many many years. It finally reopened under new ownership, but no sign.

The owner was there to greet us and show us the menu. Very nice guy and felt welcomed. We ordered the orange chicken, bokchoy dish, and chicken egg roll. Food was hot and the bokchoy was our favorite dish. Orange chicken wasn't the best but wasn't bad either (would get again). My only gripe is that the prices are similar to a sit-down full-service restaurant and not your typical take-out Chinese food prices. While I would love to come here again the price is way too high for us as we like to go get a quick meal before a movie, etc. I get it the prices need to be adjusted to match inflation/food costs but the price point before new ownership was so good.

All in all, I do want to try the other dishes as the food was good but it won't be on a regular basis as the prices are not competitive with traditional TOGO Chinese places.
