“We have been enjoying this restaurant for a couple of years, dining in and introducing friends to the delicious food. Yesterday was the first time we got delivery. We were hosting a Chinese New Year Feast. We ordered our favorites: wontons in chili sauce, wok fired green beans, eggplant in garlic sauce, shrimp fried rice, and sesame chicken. The dishes were all excellent and delicious with generous portions. Our friends ate very well and complimented everything. The delivery was perfect, the restaurant had packed it all really well and it arrived on time. We are so glad we ordered from ChuanZiang HaoZi!!!“

“I met a friend here for dinner. Our meet up was for 6 but I arrived a few minutes early and sat at the bar. Luckily for me I had 7 minutes left for happy hour. I ordered my cocktail ( blackberry bourbon)and theirs as well with spring rolls, crab ragoon wontons, rice, California roll and lettuce wraps. Service was quick and the food and atmospheric was great! The happy hour prices are some of the best for the portion sizes and the wait staff was very pleasant. Unfortunately I didnt get any pics but next time I go Ill make sure to add them.“

“I have never felt compelled to leave a review until this place. Ordered the pan seared potstickers and the Dan Dan Hand Stretched Noodles. I am fortunate enough to travel around the world for my work and I can genuinely say this is the most complex and flavorful noodle dish I have ever eaten regardless of restaurant or country. The sesame paste they use in the base gives the most rich umami flavor to go with the wonderfully seasoned beef. The hand stretched noodles have truly perfect tooth to them as well giving a very hearty feel to the dish! I could not recommend this place enough! Truly the first 10/10 I have had in Columbus, Ohio.“

“Wheeww buddy we are ADDICTED to Genghis! Although it is insanely over priced for probably the last 3 weeks we have ordered from here every single day, the orange chicken with pineapples pepper extra crispy extra chicken on fried rice is the BOMB the peppers are seasoned like nothing I've ever seen the pineapple chunks are large and enough for every bite of chicken. This dish alone as a large is $33. But so worth it. I found this through Uber eats and they're quick to make and get it out to the driver, I can only remember two times that the chicken was super dry to the point of a refund but we were issued that no problem. If your on the fence, jump on over because you will be a repeat customer. I'd share pictures but by the time I remember it's already gone.. so you know it's good. 9/10 💕✨“

“It’s always the “hole-in-the-wall” places that are the best and that’s the case with Eastern Wok. They make their dumplings in house and they are SPECTACULAR!!! I haven’t tried anything here that I didn’t like. Everything is stellar and the staff is top notch! They always make sure my kids are enjoying the food (they should know based on how often we come in that they do). Highly recommended and will continue to come back until I move or they close. Which I hope neither happens.“

“Hunan King holds a special place in my heart and my stomach of course. I have been coming to this location after moving to Columbus over 10 years ago and Hunan King has been phenomenal, fresh, and made to order without any dish I order being something I wouldn’t come back to countless times.

Today, I was actually indecisive because of how good the dishes are. My go to is General Tso chicken, but the Orange and Sesame chicken are just as amazing. I don’t know any of Hunan Kings names but I know each person there holds immeasurable amounts of integrity. Especially when it comes to serving the community. I have watch this amazing family for years welcome many different people within their establishment. I have watched the growth and refinement of Hunan King and currently. It is still the only Chinese established I frequent. I have moved to Bethal, Dublin, Galloway and Westerville, but I do not hesitate to drive the distance to grab a meal. I don’t hesitate to ask questions because truthfully the family that has been behind Hunan King truly are my friends and have my respect.

I could have a bad day in life and I can visit Hunan King and feel joy through the food and conversation with the staff. I will make sure to ask everyone’s name next time because I really do appreciate you all.

“Hands down the best Chinese food in the Columbus area. You can order anything from here and you won’t be disappointed. My personal favorite is the spicy wings with green onions. I give them 4/5 stars. I would give 5, but they are a little stingy with sauces and when you ask for more they just give you one more and you don’t want to keep asking for more, so you leave with less sauce than you want lol. But overall, highly recommended.“

“We visited with our friends and decided to try Xin Wei for the first time. The food was delicious. We tried a variety of options such as egg rolls, crab rangoon, sesame chicken, beef and broccoli, chicken lo mein and a lamb dish. The lady who served us was really nice too.“

“Was in Columbus for a concert and I walked a few blocks here for dinner. I didn’t see sweet and sour shrimp on the menu (only chicken & pork) and asked if they served it. They whipped me up an off-menu speciality on the spot. And it was terrific! Huge shrimp in a delicious sauce, big chunks of green pepper, etc. Their egg rolls were also nice and crunchy which I love and that seems to be harder to find anymore at places I try. The shrimp fried rice reminded me of the shrimp fried rice from the Chinese restaurants in New York. It took me 2 1/2 years to find a Great (Chinese) restaurant. Ping is a great host. She was amazing. Thing brought us out free vegetable rolls and crab Rangoon’s.“

My absolute favorite place in Columbus been going there since I was about 11 years old and I’m 39 now Family goes there. My children have grown up loving it don’t get it wrong. We go all over and try every Pl., Reynoldsburg Pickerington, Westerville, Arlington, Dublin, West Side, Columbus Hilliard, any place we can find Chinese food we have tried throughout the years and still believe Golden House is 💯#🥇🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟“

“We went to the Ace of Cups to watch a performance by Galactic Empire yesterday and we're hungry so we went across the street to Northeast Chinese restaurant. This little hidden spot for most folks turned out to be some of the best Chinese food that I have eaten in my life and I have eaten Chinese food all over the world. The portions are huge, the price is good and the staff very friendly. I recommended anybody traveling through Columbus that might want some good Chinese food, to look this place up and go there and eat.“

We were surprised that the place had been closed for quite some time as it was our go-to place for Chinese takeout. It has been a staple for Marcus theatre area for many many years. It finally reopened under new ownership, but no sign.

The owner was there to greet us and show us the menu. Very nice guy and felt welcomed. We ordered the orange chicken, bokchoy dish, and chicken egg roll. Food was hot and the bokchoy was our favorite dish. Orange chicken wasn't the best but wasn't bad either (would get again). My only gripe is that the prices are similar to a sit-down full-service restaurant and not your typical take-out Chinese food prices. While I would love to come here again the price is way too high for us as we like to go get a quick meal before a movie, etc. I get it the prices need to be adjusted to match inflation/food costs but the price point before new ownership was so good.

All in all, I do want to try the other dishes as the food was good but it won't be on a regular basis as the prices are not competitive with traditional TOGO Chinese places.

Pepper steak was very tasty rice was cooked perfect green peppers were cooked perfectly as were the onions and every part of the pepper steak was proportioned evenly, some places will throw an abnormal amount of onions in the mix to try and save a buck.
