Probably the best Chinese Restaurant I've been to in a very long time.“

We got the Stirred Fried Water Spinach, spicy beef dry pot, scallion pancakes, beef tripe with chili sauce. Lots of parking outside. Came during lunch on a rainy day so we were seated immediately. Ordered for two people and there was enough to take home for dinner.“

Brought my wife here for a meal to make her feel better, as she was feeling a little under the weather, and I think it really did the trick. She was very happy and pleased with the meal. She had the braised beef noodle soup.

I had the Dan Dan hand stretched noodles, they were quite delicious and satisfying for a spice craving.

The service was great, and they had Boba tea available from the next-door Boba shop.

My absolute favorite place in Columbus been going there since I was about 11 years old and I’m 39 now Family goes there. My children have grown up loving it don’t get it wrong. “I checked out Hunan Bistro at the old K House location and had a great experience. The restaurant will be getting renovations and remodeling soon, but the food already impressed me.

We ordered the Egg Drop Soup, Hot & Sour Soup, Cucumber Salad, Salt & Pepper Crispy Fish, Mongolian Beef, General Tso’s Chicken, Stir-fried Pork with Chili Peppers, Stir-fried Beef, and Kung Pao Chicken.

My favorites were definitely the Cucumber Salad, Salt & Pepper Crispy Fish, and the Kung Pao Chicken all were packed with flavor and cooked really well. The menu has a lot of great options if you enjoy authentic style Chinese dishes with some spice and variety.

I also had the chance to meet the owner, Cai, and she was super cool and welcoming, which made the experience even better.

“First time trying this. I decided to venture out of my comfort zone and got a new dish, I tried the black pepper beef and it was absolutely fantastic. I ordered for pickup and it was ready within minutes. The owners are so very sweet and the price for a lunch portion was extremely reasonable. I will definitely be coming back soon“

We were surprised that the place had been closed for quite some time as it was our go-to place for Chinese takeout. It has been a staple for Marcus theatre area for many many years. It finally reopened under new ownership, but no sign.

The owner was there to greet us and show us the menu. Very nice guy and felt welcomed. We ordered the orange chicken, bokchoy dish, and chicken egg roll. Food was hot and the bokchoy was our favorite dish. Orange chicken wasn't the best but wasn't bad either (would get again). My only gripe is that the prices are similar to a sit-down full-service restaurant and not your typical take-out Chinese food prices. While I would love to come here again the price is way too high for us as we like to go get a quick meal before a movie, etc. I get it the prices need to be adjusted to match inflation/food costs but the price point before new ownership was so good.

All in all, I do want to try the other dishes as the food was good but it won't be on a regular basis as the prices are not competitive with traditional TOGO Chinese places.

“This is my first time trying Halal China Bistro and I am not mad I took the 25 minute drive each way. The lady was nice and the portions were plentiful. I started eating before I realized I hadn't taken a picture. The bourbon chicken and the rest of the dishes were tasty. The rice was a cross between fried and white with no veggies inside of it.“

Golden China Express is very much nearby for us, but we didn't know what to expect.\nWe could not have been more pleased. The Lo Mein and War Sue Gai were delicious and with generous portions. We split a large WonTon Soup which was also delicious.\nIt was a rather large order, as we included friends, and enjoyed the meal together. Pepper steak was very tasty rice was cooked perfect green peppers were cooked perfectly as were the onions and every part of the pepper steak was proportioned evenly, some places will throw an abnormal amount of onions in the mix to try and save a buck.
