“Today we tried Golden China Express for the first time. We loved Hunan Lion, but it has been closed so long after a terrible fire. Golden China Express is very much nearby for us, but we didn't know what to expect.\nWe could not have been more pleased. The Lo Mein and War Sue Gai were delicious and with generous portions. We split a large WonTon Soup which was also delicious.\nIt was a rather large order, as we included friends, and enjoyed the meal together. The online order was easy to complete and it was ready for pickup when promised. There were absolutely no mistakes in the order and we were all pleased with the taste of all the menu items. We got the Stirred Fried Water Spinach, spicy beef dry pot, scallion pancakes, beef tripe with chili sauce. Lots of parking outside. Came during lunch on a rainy day so we were seated immediately. Ordered for two people and there was enough to take home for dinner.“

“Saturday evening dining brought a loud and crowded environment. Server was trying to do the best he could but it was obvious they were short staffed. Long wait in between courses and disappointed with the crispy green bean appetizer which came saturated in grease. The tempura was not tasty. Filet Entree was just ok, nothing special. Kudos to the bar tender as he kept the much needed $8.99 cocktail specials coming!“

“One of the best meals I have had in awhile. The service was too notch and our server was very attentive. The atmosphere was nice and the food was delicious. “Great authentic Chinese cuisine. 👌 a wide variety of offerings, the beef rib skewers were delicious, as were the pan seared pot stickers.

Brought my wife here for a meal to make her feel better, as she was feeling a little under the weather, and I think it really did the trick. She was very happy and pleased with the meal. She had the braised beef noodle soup.

I had the Dan Dan hand stretched noodles, they were quite delicious and satisfying for a spice craving.

The service was great, and they had Boba tea available from the next-door Boba shop.

“First time take away order from GAR. My family and I loved it! Excellent Pad Thai and Mala Green Beans. Also loved the mini spring rolls and the house hot mustard dipping sauce with it. Its way better than those little packets of hot mustard usually given. Quick service, affordable pricing, great menu variety and very clean looking establishment. I will be calling them again soon, 5/5 stars!“

“Crab Rangoon - 10/10. Best I have found in the Columbus. Traditional shape, six in a order, filling is a wonderful blend ( but not blended/pureed), seasoned, overall filling size was prefect. The wonton was fried evenly, tasted fresh and did not taste as if it was fired with other menu items. This was a to go order and they did travel, about 10 mins, and held up well.

“The food is always done within 10-15 minutes of us ordering. They're good at taking orders over the phone, and polite when we go in to pick it up. The order is never incorrect, no matter what we end up getting. I absolutely love this place because the food is always consistently good and fresh. Some places aren't consistent or their rice is dry and we've literally never had a problem with this place. The best Chinese food around and highly recommend to everyone.“

I give them 4/5 stars. I would give 5, but they are a little stingy with sauces and when you ask for more they just give you one more and you don’t want to keep asking for more, so you leave with less sauce than you want lol. “Not the most appealing appearance on the outside and not the best location but.....HANDS DOWN THE ABSOLUTE BEST CHINESE FOOD IN COLUMBUS. I have eaten here since I was 9 years old. I have TASTED every Chinese restaurant in Columbus and this is the BEST,in my opinion! My family and friends also agree. Literally the entire family, from grandma, mom and dad, siblings, and all of our kids , it's the Best.

My absolute favorite place in Columbus been going there since I was about 11 years old and I’m 39 now Family goes there. My children have grown up loving it don’t get it wrong. We go all over and try every Pl., Reynoldsburg Pickerington, Westerville, Arlington, Dublin, West Side, Columbus Hilliard, any place we can find Chinese food we have tried throughout the years and still believe Golden House is 💯#🥇🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟“

“This was seriously the best place I have been to since moving to columbus. The restaurant serious felt like home. They provide free water and dishes to eat with your friends and the music is beautiful.
The food itself was incredible, the Mapo Tofu's temperature was perfect, I felt healed as I ate it.
The owner himself is an incredible guy and really made an effort to make the place feel safe and welcoming. He protects his customers, as we are healing from the beautiful food.
