“I visited this restaurant 2 days ago but have had their food before. Ordered the wonton soup, Crab Rangoon and sweet & sour chicken. Everything was at the perfect temperature, big portions. The chicken was crisp. Very delicious. The service was great. I would definitely eat here again!“
“We have eaten at Chinese restaurants from New York to San Francisco. If you’re looking for a 5-star neighborhood restaurant, this is it! Most people think that all Chinese restaurants are similar, but Panda House menu is outstanding! Their food preparation and extensive menu is worth the visit.“
“Our first visit to Silk Road Asian was truly delightful! The restaurant's inviting ambiance and attentive staff immediately set a positive tone. The menu offered a diverse range of Asian dishes, each bursting with authentic flavors and high-quality ingredients. The attention to detail in presentation showcased the chef's dedication to their craft. The portion sizes were generous, providing excellent value for the money. Overall, Silk Road Asian left a lasting impression, and we look forward to returning to explore more of their delicious offerings.“
“We’ve been here a few times now and every time we try something it turns out amazing. I would highly recommend the ribs! The two brothers are always so kind and they remember us when we come in!! Calm and inviting atmosphere. The food is always plated nicely and the portions are worth the money! We will continue to come back!!“
“We picked the perfect time. No huge lunch crowd. Perfect viewing for the eclipse. The service was perfect, the food was delicious and nicely plated.Wonderful experience!Dietary restrictions: Very careful with food allergies! My gluten free meal was perfect!“
“The owner is amazing. So friendly and personable. The hot and sour soup was the most sour hot and sour soup I have had and kind of thin on solids but still tasty and unique. The war su guy was fried perfectly and very juicy. The gravy was delicious but be warned, it will turn very gelatinous the longer it sits. Even extreme microwaving couldn’t turn it back into a liquid but it still tasted good. The steamed dumplings are delicious per other reviews and the dipping sauce is a little sweet but more gingery than sugary. The egg roll was good albeit a little sweet. Over all, some of the best bang for your buck Chinese I’ve had in quite a while. I will definitely be returning many times in the future. Don’t hesitate, order from here asap.“
“Service was fairly slow and the food was average. We specifically went for Sushi, and it was average at best. My husband and I each ordered a Sake, and he also ordered a beer. His same and beer both tasted stale/ had an unpleasant aftertaste. Our waitresses was very nice and very personable, service was just slow in general. Might come back to try non-sushi dishes, but would recommend getting sushi elsewhere.“
“02/19/24. I ordered “Vegetable Egg Foo Young/with Fried Rice” I was referred to this restaurant. Let me TELL YOU! The Staff is on top of it. The lady at the counter was friendly and patient while I looked over their large Menu selection. As guest came to Dine In. The staff was ready fast and courteous. They give you A LOT of fresh hot FOOD!I will be back…“
“A Culinary Delight!I recently dined at YF Chinese Cuisine, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. The ambiance was inviting, the service was top-notch, and the food was simply delicious. From the perfectly seasoned dishes to the attentive staff, every aspect exceeded my expectations. YF Chinese Cuisine is definitely a gem for anyone craving authentic and flavorful Chinese cuisine. I highly recommend it!“
“Me and my husband got the teriyaki chicken sticks and 2 house lo mein, and I will never go to another Chinese restaurant again. This will be our all time favorite place to go to!!! The food is absolutely amazing, perfectly seasoned and the sauce is just right! The woman that checked me out was the sweetest and was so kind❤️ we can’t wait to go back again!!“
“Service was awesome all of the way thru, food was perfect are waiter he was the best or one of the best waiters I've ever had, definitely awesome. Clean booth area including below floor, restrooms ; spacious restaurant looked super great!! Thank You so much!!Parking: Definitely awesome but it can't keep up with the service or spacious restaurant. Luck of the draw though ?.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“I’ve been on the road for five months and it’s always hit or miss with Chinese restaurants in a town you are unfamiliar with. This one was a big hit. The portions for what you pay for. A great sauces are amazing. Quality was good definitely recommend.“
“Absolutely LOVE this place! We come like once a week in the winter. Always get the hot pot. Good stays fresh and tastes so good!!!! Literally a ritual for us. I used to have hot pot when I lived in Boston and love how many options this particular place offers.“
“I go to many Chinese restaurants looking for something that isn't American-Chinese masquerading as authentic gourmet Chinese. This place is about as close as you're going to get in Columbus for real Asian food. It probably helps they are conveniently located next to the best Asian supermarket in the city.I have went a few times, and enjoyed every visit. I tried the duck bone stirfry, which was awesome. They have these dumplings in chilli oil that are just killer. Order it just for the oil and add it to your rice. Pour it on your eggroll, or whatever. It's that damn good. I think it's a homemade szechuan peppercorn oil. They have many Thai dishes as well. I got their Thai Red Curry. It's way better than Hunan Lions Curry, but honestly just average. I make my own Thai curry from scratch though. I do give them props for at least using shrimp paste, and having some flavor.Their chicken egg rolls and ragoons are also good.So much crazy stuff on the menu for adventurous eaters. Want a Duck Blood or Frog based dish? They have many. Lots of tripe dishes, and other odd stirfry's. I will be trying those soon and editing this review.Overall, the food is pretty good if you order right, and if you don't order right, it's still OK.As far as service, it's an Asian restaurant. Completely different culture. Come here for the food, not the service. Be happy a restaurant exists in Columbus that isn't Human Lion or Lucky Dragon.I have added Xin Wei to my rotation. Out of probably over 100 restaurants in the city, this is one of a out 5 that I have given this honor.Come here for real Asian food, and you will be happy. Come here for the Karen American-Chinese specials, and miss out on what this place has to offer.“
“Really great service!!! This was my first time but definitely not my last. I asked a lot of questions and our waitress was very helpful. We went for a friend's birthday and we all loved our food ❤️ the drinks were good too and strong I could only have 1 but it was great ? I would highly recommend the ? wings ?Vegetarian options: Veggie fried rice and several other options“
“Went here with my brother to catch up over dinner and honestly had the best service! The server was very kind and accommodating, we also spoke to the chef who was very friendly! The food was amazing we are definitely coming back, 5 Stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“Typical strip mall American-Chinese fare. Don't order the large size unless you're sharing or are really hungry. A regular meal is plenty of food.Triangle fold crab Rangoon. My search for the pocket fold style on the north side continues.“
“This is my first time trying Halal China Bistro and I am not mad I took the 25 minute drive each way. The lady was nice and the portions were plentiful. I started eating before I realized I hadn't taken a picture. The bourbon chicken and the rest of the dishes were tasty. The rice was a cross between fried and white with no veggies inside of it.“
“Oh man. This was my first time trying Biang Biang noodles and these were incredible. Amazingly flavorful, salty, garlicky, and chewy. Tender meat, and wonderfully crisp veggies. If you love a good thick chewy noodle and strong flavors, this is the dish for you. They don't hold back on the chili. My partner got the Yuxiang pork and that was absolutely delicious too. The flavor starts off as a strong, vinegary taste, though this quickly melts into a subtle sweet flavor. Very tender. Generous portion of meat.Server was very sweet and the whole place was very cozy :-)“
“Almost every time we call to order out. The person on the other end at the establishment says we can’t hear you. They call back and can hear me fine. Anyone else have that problem or is it just us? The food is excellent we eat there 2 times a month..“
“Best Chinese Restaurant in Columbus! It's always fresh and tasty!! We go there every month! Has authentic and American iced Chinese food. It's very reasonably priced as well.Kid-friendliness: It is a very casual and kid friendly atmosphere. We take our grandkids there, and they love it!!“
“I love many dishes here! When my family comes, we can share many appetizers and entrées. We particularly like egg rolls, spring rolls, chicken lettuce wraps and Great Asian Special Soup to share. The soup is huge and not too salty. Of entrées, I always get Mala Green Beans, under the vegetarian category. You can get it with different meats, but I LOVE the proportion of beans and rice, and the chicken is sometimes dry/overcooked. I also order the green beans extra hot, but it's fine with the regular garlic sauce, too.“
“We love the taste of the food. I've never had to wait on my food. We just had firecrackerShrimp dumplings, sesame sesame sea sizzling rice soup. Main courses were& Three Musketeer & Black Pepper Beef.We love the heat specialty. Excellent place!!!“
“BETTER THAN KUNG FU TEA. Omg! Delicious!!! The watermelon tea is made with real watermelon chunks unlike drinks you get at Starbucks which are made with gross, super sweet powders and syrups. Everything at KHouse is fresh tasting. I also got the latte, yogurt, and strawberry cake. I would rate everything an 11/10. Everything reminds me of what I get in Flushing, NYC (Chinatown).“
“This is the kinda place where the food speaks for itself, because the restaurant isnt doing much speaking. The place is extremely unassuming, not decorated much, not the cleanest. The vibes are the opposite of immaculate, but that's okay. I've been to enough small asian restaurants to know it doesn't truly matter.Whatever misgivings i might've had about this place disappeared immediately when I had a bite of the beef in my beef noodle soup. I opted to order off the non-english menu, thanks to Google translate. That beef was so flavorful, so tender, i felt myself ascend. They weren't afraid to give me the 'less desirable' pieces of meat that a standard american wouldn't eat, but I loved. Cant tell if its because i ordered off the non-english menu or if its just me being Asian. Noodles were chewy and VERY plentiful. I got non-spicy but took a little bit of chili oil since I'm a weenie. My partner went with the Dan Dan noodles, which were delicious. Very flavorful, probably the most complex Dan Dan noodes I've ever tried (that's a compliment.) Not spicy enough for my partner's taste so they got some chili oil.We spent $24 (including tip) for a monstrous amount of food, so very affordable. Guy taking our order spoke mandarin, english, and spanish, which us just awesome.“
“I have seen so many crossing bridge noodle videos but never tried it until I came here. It was even better than I imagined. The dishes were served with an excellent presentation. The soup had a rich flavor but not too salty. I loved adding those tiny and fresh dishes to the soup to complete the dish. Of course, the noodles were silky and pleasantly chewy. I have not mentioned that the vibe and the services exceeded expectations. I will definitely come back again and again.“
“This place really is a hidden gem! All of the food was amazing but the stand out dishes were the peppercorn calamari, duck vermicelli with pickled vegetables & the onion and pepper beef! The portions are huge, family style is the way to go here. Service was quick and the restaurant was super clean! Will definitely be back!“
“Excellent food, fast service, and good prices. Veggies were fresh and crisp, good portions of protein in each entree, everything was well seasoned. I think we’ve already been back 3 times since our first visit and each time has been consistently great. Glad to have this spot in the neighborhood and just wish I had an excuse to get here at lunch to take advantage of their specials.Parking: Lots of spots right in front of the restaurant“
“Delicious food and amazing customer service! Our family got general tso, sweet and sour chicken, beef and broccoli, lo mein, moo goo gai pan, egg rolls and crab Rangoon. Everything was super delicious. The employees were very friendly and helpful. We were very pleased and will definitely be back!“
“Oh my goodness. I've been meaning to stop in for months, and happened to be nearby at lunchtime. Looks small, and it is small. There is a table and a couple of chairs, but they are house-style furniture, meant more for waiting than dining in, and were covered with an in-progress puzzle surely meant at least partly to dissuade potential non-carryout customers. Big menu, with lots of interesting items. Several Malaysian dishes, fairly rare in town, so I tried one, mee goreng. Fried noodles in a curryish sauce, with a moderate heat that builds. I got beef; there are other proteins. Very tasty. Big portion for $8 at lunch. Tender slices of beef, flavorful sauce, a few green onions and some lettuce on top making a futile stab at healthiness. Cheap. Great. And fast! I figured I really should have called my order in (no web ordering,) but wanted to check the place out and maybe eat there. But though the owners were busy, cooking and prepping deliveries, I got my food in about 5 minutes. I had asked for summer rolls but she said they would take awhile, made from scratch, with the other stuff they had in the pipeline, so I did pass on those. But lunch at almost noon on a weekday in 5 minutes, for $8, for plenty of tasty food? I'm in. Parking is weird, of course, right along the street but perpendicular. Be careful backing out- because of the street, and a light pole. If I lived nearby I'd be here a lot. I'll be back.“
“Being from Houston, TX, and it being a giant melting pot and huge Chinatown, I’m pretty picky about my Chinese/Asian food. Finally, I’ve found a restaurant that’s up to par with the food back home! We got the Sesame Chicken (left), Salt & Pepper Squid (middle) and the Beef Chow Fun (right). The Sesame Chicken had the right amount of crunch with the fried breading. The sauce was a little thick but still really good. The Salt & Pepper Squid, an all time favorite of mine, was salty, savory and crunchy. The Beef Chow Fun was flavorful and the pieces of beef in it were a great touch. There was only one other family in the restaurant since we came an hour before closing but the staff male member was incredibly fast and efficient with getting us seated, delivering waters right away and bringing our food out fast.Definitely found my new go-to Chinese restaurant for dine-in and to-go!“
“We were doubtful when we first entered as no one was there inside seating. But when we got the food we really enjoyed a lot. Fried rice is very flavourful.. and crispy chicken skewers.. we asked for spicy peppercorn chicken it was really tasty just melts in our mouths, just end up ordering an another plate..Ambiance is okay. Place is a bit dull but really enjoyed the food.“
“Drove north 20 minutes today for one reason: to grab an order of steamed dumplings from New China Express at Sancus/Lazelle near Polaris (They run 4 local locations afaik). I saw pics on the web this morning and decided to giddyup for lunch! The dumps were definitely worth the effort - big and plump with springy outer wrappers, loaded with ground meat and spices. I've been seeking lovelies like these ever since my beloved No 1. Chinese restaurant chain was no longer in Cbus. Dipping sauce was near perfect too. Got a side of Hot n Sour soup, also tasty! But now I know where to get steamed "potstickers" when I crave them.“
“My friends and I went to celebrate my 24th birthday as we do every year at pf changs and they did not disappoint. Our server Eli had the best energy. He was so polite and made us feel extremely welcomed. My favorite part about my birthday dinner was the fact that Eli not only joined in the wearing of party hats, but he kept it on even at his other tables, and took a group photo with us in our party hats. He definitely set the bar high for all future experiences we have there, or really anywhere. His level of service is unmatched. The food was also great as always, but nothing compares to how amazing Eli was. Best birthday ever, thanks Eli!!!Dietary restrictions: Extremely accommodating and knowledgeable of gluten sensitivities and Celiacs“
“Best Chinese I’ve had in a WHILE. I know a friend and her dad owns the place now and it’s so much better! Her dad makes all the food and makes the best hot and sour soup! I recommend this for any time of the day, especially dinner, it’s very filling!Vegetarian options: Egg drop soup and hot and sour soup and so much more!“
“We order Joy house once a week for lunch at work. I've had Chinese food from every place in a 10 mile radius and none of them can hold a candle to joy house. The food is so so so so good. It just doesn't compare to anyone else. I highly recommend this place.“
“Nice hidden secret..Great food and good service w friendly staff.Small quiet place with 7-10tables. Located in the Busch Town center plaza and not the greatest plaza (homeless drug activity) But just lock ur car doors and park in front of the restaurant big picture window..Don't sweat it .It's worth it...“
“Kind of a tiny place but very cozy. I got sweet and sour chicken and an egg roll. The food was definitely made from scratch so it was really tasty. The egg roll was cabbage forward which I liked and cooked perfect. The sweet and sour chicken was a light breading so it was tasty and the meat was “
“First time here and the food was great. We had the hunan chicken- tender with a rich spicy sauce, tasty general tso chicken with carrots/veggies (which I loved instead of broccoli), and perfectly cooked egg rolls. Friendly staff too! Thank you“
“I just got this the other day - General Tso's and Kung Po Chicken. Both were really tasty - on par with Mr. Wok/Magic Wok in Gahanna (the gold standard for me). The Kung Po has an interesting spice to it and the General Tso's was spicy sweet. The pork fried rice tastes delicious (grilled taste with veggies...like it should be) Delicious and a great price. I will be back. New fave Chinese for this side of town!!“
“A great place for some delicious food and warm, friendly service. Their menu offers a wide variety of options but I personally had tried their General Tso’s with fried rice, lo mein and crab rangoon my first time around. Every item on my order complimented the other and offered its own unique taste compared to other restaurants with the same menu items. If you’re in the area or debating giving Lin’s Wok a try, it will be worth your while. They have sure not seen the last of me whenever I find myself visiting the Columbus area.“
“My family and I have been going here for a couple of years and I think it's the best and most consistent Chinese food I've found in Columbus. I get the general tso's tofu but the sesame is really good too. The vegetable egg rolls are big and worth the price. They have a ton of variety and everything I've tried so far has been great. I didn't even go recently I'm just thinking about Chinese food and felt like writing a positive review of my go-to Chinese place.“
“Honestly, this is the ONLY place I go to for Sweet n Sour Chicken& Veggie Fried rice. Been coming here since I was a kid, and I love it. It’s fresh, and when you call to place an order the wait is 10 mins or less on the food. Staff are polite in explaining the menu and how things are cooked. ( I’m allergic to tree nuts so cashews are a big no, which they have there. They clarified that they do not contaminate food made with cashews and food that isn’t). Despite the surrounding area that’s a bit ran down to me, the food is a great! Check it out if you can!✨ Don’t judge a book by its cover.“
“I got this for take out for the 1st time from a coworkers recommendation, it was soooo good! One of the only places that listened to my "extra spicy" plea for the kung-pao chicken ?! It was super yummy and filling, and of course even better reheated the next day! Can't wait to try more. ??“
“It had been several years since I last dined at this location. This was my go-to spot for Asian food back when I lived nearby. My food during this visit was good, but not as good as I remembered. I don't know if it's that this location's quality has gone downhill, or if other places have upped their games.Regardless, this is still a nice place to get good Chinese food. My dining companion and I had a hard-stop appointment to get to, and our server was very accommodating to ensure we could leave shortly after our food arrived.“
“First time trying this place, and it was great. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the restaurant was clean. Everyone really enjoyed their food, and we had plenty of left overs. Fried rice was the best, and the wife liked her sweet and sour chicken. I got the chicken lo mein and is the best I've had. We will be back to this place. We may even make it a weekly visit. Too bad they don't have onion rings, I bet they would be awesome.Parking: Alot of open parking, will not be a b issue.“
“This is our new go-to pickup spot for Asian food. I’m a fan of the pad Thai and husband gets the sesame chicken with fried rice. It’s quick and online ordering is easy. Food is good for a place with this big of a menu. I tried the teriyaki once and won’t get that again.“
“Love this place. Food is always fresh and tasty. I always get the shrimp lomein and love it. People that complain about the prices going up are simply broke and complainers. Economy isn't what it used to be but even so its extremely cheap.“
“Best Chinese food around! The food is delicious and the staff here is so friendly. Prices are reasonable for the portions. Also they have Gluten free options. Give them a try!Vegetarian options: Salted and pepper tofu and General’ tso tofu are very delicious.“
