“Amazing! Northwest Columbus may be the most diverse Asian paradise that exists in the United States. We have a larger variety of Asian food than I've seen in any large city in the country. This place is spectacular! First off, the food is absolutely perfect and delicious. On top of that, the owner and the staff couldn't be kinder. There are dozens of Asian restaurants in the area, but there is no place that even compares. They take so much pride in what they offer. It's truely like going to your grandparents house and having a home cooked meal.“
“Drove up from Dayton to check this spot out, as my husband and I love trying new foods. This did not disappoint! Those KFC wings were the best wings I've ever had. I would buy the sauce!! ? My husband thought the cheese ramen was okay- would try a different one next time, but all my food was delicious.“
“(I hope this review is allowed as we have similar tastes) ... My daughter travels a lot because of her job & sometimes I visit places with her; like Utah a couple weeks ago. Well, this week she was in Ohio & was so pleased with this restaurant she asked me "to give an amazing review to this place". She wanted to mention how she "had high expectations coming from Central Florida where there's some of the top Hibachi and this place definitely met [her] expectations. The food portions are a good size and flavors are savory. Also the fruit punch is so tropical and not overly sweet; so addicting that [she] ordered from there twice today". She had the Hibachi Salmon meal with an extra side of white rice & double orders of the Fruit Punch. I was so impressed by her description & the pics that I told her to fax me a plate! LOL! (Where are the Jetsons when we need 'em?) haha! I'm thinking of taking a long weekend trip just to eat there. I bet the restaurant's atmosphere would be just as welcoming!“
“Think you have to go to California for authentic Japanese? While Akai Hana has "Americanized" sushi etc on the menu, they also do excellent sashimi dishes and tempura as good as anyone. Sure, I'd love to be enjoying this in Kyoto or at the fish market in Hakodate, but to find this level of quality on the eastern fringes of the American Midwest? Akai Hana scores big. Great staff at the sashimi counter, so definitely try to get a seat there.Low carb? Keto? Carnivore? Paleo? Akai Hana has choices and choices to suit your personal nutritional style!!Dietary restrictions: Low carb friendlyKeto friendlyCarnivore friendlyPaleo friendlyParking: Parking available on both sides - the Japanese market side and the Kenny Center side.“
“Food is great, wide range of choices, parking is easy, usually not more than a short wait. Located in a large plaza, there is also a Japanese food market next door: eat at Tensuke and then stop by the grocery store to find some things to take home and cook! Great combination. Plus, it gets better, there's a little Japanese gift shop right around the corner! Grab a meal, browse gifts, and take home groceries. This place is such an easy choice!Dietary restrictions: Keto friendlyCarnivore friendlyPaleo friendlyLow carb friendlyParking: Big parking lot right at the door - super easy access“
“If you're craving some good comfort, flavorful, and delicious food! There's plenty of parking and some seating inside but most people seem to take food to go.Get the dinner house combo, you get so much! You get shrimp, beef, chicken, two veggie sides, and 2 sauces. Their other combos are good as well, you can't go wrong. Their ginger sauce is a really good balance to the buttery hardy entree and their spicy yum yum is good as well. One dinner entree order lasts me two meals and only for $17. The food is good, fresh, and flavorful.I also like getting their wings, they usually have their special of $1 wings if you buy a minimum of 5, or the regular 3 wings for $5. And you don't just get the drum or flat, you get both, which is usually getting 10 wings at other places. You're getting 10 wings for $5! I recommend their sriracha honey sauce, it is spicy and sweet, and so good. You can't beat the deal! They also offer lunch all day, so you can get the half size which is more than enough for one meal. They also have sides and appetizers like egg rolls and crab rangoons that you can get.I recommend for good food and quick service! They'll treat you really well and take care of you here.“
“I love Sushiko. I have no idea how many years my family has gone here now. I used to live locally, and I always had take out. Now I live two hours away. This trip is always worth its for the family visit AND the sushi. This last time, I did not even get a picture of all the food. We are already planning our next visit. I love it all.Kid-friendliness: My son and neice and nephew love it.“
“Honestly some of the BEST kaarage fried chicken in cbus‼️The portions are HUGE. The small can easily feed 2 people and the large can easily feed 4-5. ?The noodles and sushi can be hot or miss for me but the tan tan mien is pretty tasty. the noodles also come in large portions. ? The drinks are worth trying too ?“
“It doesn't seem to be run by Japanese people, but the quality is high and the customer service is good. There is "Kura Sushi" nearby, but if you can't get in there because it's crowded, you might want to stop by here.・Tekka rolled seaweed is good・Fried oysters are delicious・The freshness of the fish is well controlled.・About $80-100 including tip for 2 people5-level rating (North American standards)Taste: 4Cheapness: 5Customer service: 5Atmosphere: 4“
“This is my go-to for sushi, and has been for many years. I drive across town to come here, and I have never, ever been disappointed. The sushi is good quality, and the presentation is creative. The appetizers and mushroom soup are always a must. The staff has been the same here for many years, showing that this is a great place to work as well. Simply the best.“
“This is now our go to Asian food restaurant! Prices are reasonable, portions are huge, food is EXCELLENT. When we get carry out it feeds our family for days, I swear I can’t make this at home for less and it’s so much better. Also they have great variety on the menu and the service is always really friendly and welcoming. They do it right!“
“This is my favorite place and I get so happy when I know we're going to eat here I'm from Florida and we travel to Ohio often for family. This is our go to spot. We come here every trip with our family and sometimes a few times while we're in town. Never an issue with seating, never a long wait, always accommodating and always friendly. The food! Holy love the food. Our family is Korean and we can honestly say, this is good Korean food. We always mix and match Korean with Chinese to have best of both worlds. The food is just amazing. Try the Pa Dak with the sauce. It's freakin delicious. The Bulgogi is really good, my son loves it. The soups are amazing. My husband loves this black bean noodle dish, it's Korean I don't know the name but GOOD. We love the food here. Order a little bit of everything and share. I'd always recommend this place for its authenticity and the flavor. You'll always leave full. Highly recommend!“
“Fast, efficient, and friendly service make this a great place for a sushi meal or bowl. Works like Chipotle but with sushi / Asian food. The menu isn't extensive but it is highly adaptable (you can make a bowl with many options or just a couple). Take out is also quick and easy. Eating in is nice since the staff keep the area very clean.“
“This cute little restaurant ( take out only?) is in the Japan market place. I walked in- the staff was very sweet, and helpful. She helped me choosing the sushi rolls to order. I got two rolls for our dinner. Both the sushi rolls were fresh, tasty and with top ingredients. They took almost 25 minutes to get the stuff ready. I was waiting outside and once done she called me and I picked up. Super easy! I don’t mind waiting even longer if the food is freshly made, with all things fresh inside. Highly recommended!“
“I absolutely love and adore the food here the portions are huge the flavor is so bold it's very healthy with the hibachi shrimp comes with delicious rice ,cabbage and shaved carrots and additional toppings like zucchini are my favorite The staff are very friendly and so sweet and they have many food options and appetizers like egg rolls and crab Rangoon “
“On a Korean food mission. This time BULGOGI!Located inside the East Market, there are quite a few choices here...pizza, burgers, wings, Greek and Moroccan flavors. Oh my!! But I was on the hunt for Bulgogi, and this place had a 5-star rating. So the Bulgogi definitely gets 5 stars. It's the flavor I'm familiar with (much better than the last place I tried). Large portions for the money ($12) and came with steamed rice and scallions on top. The beef was the right slice and marinated perfectly. I wish there was better seating but I can't penalize Koso for that. Keeping it objective, the food is a 5 out of 5. There are plenty of sweet tooth offerings at the East Market after you are done with your meal. That's for another review!“
“Ordered delivery and got the spicy tuna sushi box and 2 of the beef bulgogi onigiri. The spicy tuna roll was huge, much bigger than what you get at the grocery store. The tuna slices on the nigiri were super thick too. The onigiris were also really good, I made the mistake of having an onigiri first before getting to the bento box and the single onigiri alone was really filling.“
“Oshio has a good range of menu. We ordered the flagship titanic set for a special birthday dinner, plus many other dishes. The sushi had many varieties of fish, which impressed my Japanese Mrs. Agedashi tofu, calamari, crispy rice, and other dishes were all yummy. Stone bibimbab was also tasty, according to the Korean friends, but the pot wasn’t sizzling. This is understandable, since it may be dangerous to the uninitiated.“
“I definitely must give credit where credit is due!I ordered the Chicken Ramen, with the Japanese Fried Chicken, Gyoza for the appetizer and three extra side eggs and all of it was incredible.Due to a door dash error, the original order did not get delivered. But after I sent an email about the issue, I got a call from Jason at the facility who personally prepared and delivered the order to me!Great food plus service that’s above and beyond, I definitely will eat here again!!“
“I ordered the food via Uber Eats my first impression was wow it was alot of food. Enough for my wife and I to share and still had leftovers. We had the habachi chicken and steak added onions and broccoli the steak was cooked to perfection which I order medium well. I wish they were a little closer to my house, but I am willing to drive because it was good and I will definitely be back.“
“We ate at FUSIAN on Saturday night and it was a great experience. The service was friendly and top notch. I went "Jiro Dreams of Sushi" style and asked the manager to make me whatever he wanted that would be delicious. 6 out of 5 stars, highly recommend. The rest of our group ordered off the menu and loved what they got. We've eaten at a lot of sushi places and FUSIAN was high-quality with a really good value and quick service. The manager was great and the staff was too. They made you feel comfortable and appeared as if they enjoyed working there. It was a fun and friendly at atmosphere with good food at a good value.Kid-friendliness: PB and J roll is great for kids!“
“Not bad, the delivery failed, GrubHub delivered our food to someone else, and then went back and delivered it back to us, but they gave us a credit, so so we got it late last night. Had it for lunch, had for lunch. The wings were excellent. They come a garlic on them and they were just really good even reheated. The was OK. I liked the role with the salmon on top of the best. It's in my pictures I recommend that one.ttfn“
“Got dinner from this establishment. I ordered General Tso Chicken with fried Rice, Crab Rangoons, Egg Rolls.Fried Rice didn’t have any veggies. Chicken was good. I opted out for spicy. Crab Rangoons were SO good. Along with the Egg rolls. Food was ready within the time frame I was given. Overall Good Stop.“
“One storefront, Two great restaurants. Flowing around the German Village area and craving for some sushi. Hence, checked out Jony's Sushi. They are a Pop-Up sushi concept reside within the South Village Grille. I really like the vibe within the restaurant, which is intimate and cozy. I ended up getting only sushi and would definitely coming back to try out the offering from SVG.Not a surprise, my sushi order coincidently have one common ingredient, salmon. My favorite would be the Finding Nori Roll. Fresh salmon with some spice from their spicy Kimchee sauce, balance out with the avocado and daikon salad.“
“Overall good experience, and I can definitely recommend it. Had lunch here, so cannot vouch for the dinner menu, but the sushi was pretty good as well as the bento box that I got. Really good teriyaki chicken and vegetables, and the miso soup is delicious! Good service and good atmosphere, although parking can be a little challenging. Check it out if you're looking for a good sushi place in town.Parking: There's a very small parking lot behind the restaurant that is shared with the other businesses, but there is also a parking lot across the street that is pretty easy to get in and out of onto the main street.“
“Who said there's no such thing as a free lunch? I was looking through the window of Clintonville FUSIAN to see what food it served, and the manager came out and offered me a free lunch! Delicious vegetarian ramen with fresh toppings such as edamame and grated carrot, smothered in a coconut curry sauce. I shall definitely be going back!Vegetarian options: Currently at least, two sauce options for a ramen bowl: coconut curry or miso. Both very good. And then lots of veggie toppings including mushroom, carrot, radish, green onions, edamame.Wheelchair accessibility: Looks accessible. I didn't get a good look at how heavy the door is but I'm sure staff would help you get in.“
“I ordered the Rishi Ramen. Kind of bland to be honest. The shumai was good as well as the sushi rolls. Unfortunately, the place is understaffed. We had one waitress for the whole floor. She busted her backside, but it was a while between visits from her.“
“Great spot if you are wanting a fast fix of hibachi. I got the steak and chicken with fried rice, I didn’t want the cabbage. Comes with two sauces, ginger and “yum yum”. I added in the zucchini, onion and mushroom vegetables. The portion was perfect at the price point and overall It was well executed and done in super fast time.“
“Very nice and cozy sushi place in downtown Columbus! The food was amazing, fresh fish, kind servers, and I love the atmosphere of the restaurent! Lots of Japanese decorations that really brings up the sushi experience. They also give parking discounts for the garage right next to them which is very helpful!“
“I tried the vegetable nowl with ramen noodles and miso soup. I agreed to the soft boiled egg, but you don't have to accept it when offered. It didn't take too long for them to cook my ramen and the soup was very hot. The egg seemed a bit chilly when I first took a bit so I suspect it is cooked in advance and added later, but no issue as the hot soup warmed it. It was decent ramen not great but not terrible. I felt it was a reasonable price for a bowl of ramen as it was a good sized portion. I chose not to get a drink, but probably should've since the soup was hot. Personally I felt the miso was a bit fishy tasting, but perhaps that's just me. They were offering free samples as they also sell things like teriyaki chicken, fried rice, and more. There is plenty of seating in the food court, it's clean, amd well lit with sky lights.“
“We have been getting Hibachi from here for over a year now and we can’t recommend it enough! The food is delicious and the portions are huge. 2 people could share one order but we like to save the leftovers for lunch the next day. We typically like to add on broccoli to our order since it usually comes with cabbage. Their food is very fresh and cooked to order and the staff is always so kind & very personable. They can get pretty busy some nights but they always have speedy service and have your order done within about 15 minutes. If you’re looking for good food at a good price then this is the place to go!“
“I was thrilled to hear this Asian restaurant was still open. It is under new ownership and the food is just as good! The portions were very generous and the staff was friendly. The owner was very helpful and appreciative of our business. The strip of businesses is all that remains from City Center Mall. Very glad this restaurant is still open. I'll be back!“
“I have their noodles and salmon for dinner one a week and it never disappoints! Their noodles has got to be my favorite! Their crab rangoon is chefs kiss. & they are always friendly! We love consistent customer service! thank you guys! Keep up the amazing work!“
“Always amazing! My favorite go to sushi place around here. Ordered tonight for Valentine's, they were slammed and I was expecting maybe less quality, and was ok with it. But it was immaculate as ever, honestly delighted. Love y'all, keep being amazing!“
“Our group of 5 had a great time! Our table was not ready at our reservation time and we ended up waiting about 30 minutes past our rez time. The owner was so apologetic and comped us a round of drinks and some apps while we waited. Very thoughtful and beyond what we would have expected. The service was very good. Food was great and everyone in our group left with full and happy bellies. 100% recommend.“
