Japanese Restaurants near Gahanna

“We have ordered several menu items, all superb. Thai Basil, Mongolian Stir Fry, Pepper steak, Szechuan, sushi….no bad choices!“

“This is by far the best sushi in central Ohio. Able, fresh fish, atmosphere… everything you want out of a good sushi place. And the prices are VERY reasonable for Columbus. Big portions, big hearts. This place is the best.“

“Great neighborhood take out restaurant. Chicken lo mein, crab rangoons, and won ton soup is really good. First time getting Mongolian chicken here- ordered medium spicey and that was great but other than that the chicken didnt have much flavor. Have ordered here before and likely will again. Good service and good food.“

“Was planning on eating at the chinese restaurant next door, but they were closed, so I gave this place a shot. I wasn't expecting a lot because of some of the other reviews, but was very pleasantly surprised. Order the beef and chicken hibachi. Steak was great. Chicken was great. Vegetables were great. They cooked it in the open and seemed fairly clean. Maybe they are under new ownership, or I just lucked out, but in either case it's worth giving them a shot.“

“The ambiance is a little to be desired but the food was fabulous!“

“We (5 people) ate an early dinner here yesterday. Nice ambiance. We tried a large selection: edamame, ebi shumai, salmon onigiri, fried squid, ebi tempura, miso ramen, chicken katsu bento box, tonkotsu ramen, teriyaki don, red bean ice cream and sasadango. Everything was delicious. Our youngest liked it so much, we’re coming back for their birthday. Our server Natalie was wonderful also.“

“We love Kirin. The food is delicious every time. The Karaage Ramen is AMAZING seriously fried chicken in a soup?? What could be better?? Also the service...it's so rare these days to go somewhere with young staff members who actually care about their job. We always appreciate how hard they work.“

“Food, prices, and service were all awesome! Overall a wonderful experience! We will be back real soon!“
