The bierra ramon was oversalted and the service was extremely slow. Sadly, I am never coming back here.

The salad I ordered had extremely wilted lettuce and fruit flies flying around. Men doing some type of work so there was very loud drilling or hammering or something during the lunch hour. Then I am told they cant take my gift card that I got for Christmas because they changed systems sometime during their 2 months of being closed. They are lucky I am offering to pay for that spoiled salad and honestly I just wanted to get rid of the gift card. This place went from not bad to horrible. I will never return. I truly cannot believe they would serve food with fruit flies. And they are ridiculously expensive.

this was my 4th time there. The first two times the food was good but they took extra charges after I left against my credit card even though I left cash for a tip. I only went in there a third time because I got a gift card for CHRISTMAS. once again they took extra after I left even though I left cash for a tip. I went back several times to ask about the extra against the card but they were closed because of a water pipe breaking. I was finally able to go back in there today 3/29/2024 to try and use the balance of my gift card, I order a salad and a beer. The salad was terribly wilted and had fruit flies flying around it. It was horrible. I ask for my check I already know I would never return, I tell her I have a balance on my gift card and she tells me they changed systems and can no longer accept those gift cards. Are you kidding me? I wrote the gift card number on the receipt and walk out. There is lots of good restaurants in downtown Willoughby. Don't waste your time or money on this one. And they're ridiculously expensive, even in this economy.

Placed an online order. Go to pick it up and I’m told they are not accepting online orders. The order is already paid for! Ugh! Another poorly ran

Love this place! Pulpo Beer Company has new drinks including amazing espresso martinis and many unique drinks! Such a fun vibe. Bartender Juan made the experience even better! Great service and very personable! My guy!

This place has incredible food and beer. Come hungry because the portions are massive!! The outdoor rooftop is really cool. The only downside is this place is like 3 businesses in 1 and sometimes you can sense disorganization and cohesiveness is not there (sometimes they don’t know when the patio is to open for the season or they have some sort of drama in the kitchen) Though the food and upstairs rooftop atmosphere is incredible so you will regret not going here.

We waited 40 minutes for our order and the food had no seasoning and the guacamole was very bitter and had an unpleasant taste.

We waited 45 minutes for 3 arepas, it's ridiculous, the waitress didn't come to ask if we needed anything, it's very, very overrated and expensive.

Great atmosphere, good music, big portions so you will be taking food home if you are not that hungry, avocado and azteca sauces a MUST TRY, ample selections of Latin flavors, BEER WOW so yummy, ask for the story behind the brewery it is pretty awesome, can’t wait to visit during their patio season, my server Myra so knowledgeable and kind. Let me start with explaining that Barroco no longer exists at this location and it is Pulpo beer now, Hola tacos as you know it barely exists. We have been going here at this time every year since they opened, each time was a Great experience till now. A reservation was made with the bartender who advised the menus were now combined and no more arepas but the upstairs was still open. Upon arrival we were told the upstairs is no longer open and the reservation wasn't even listed. Everyone tried to be helpful to sort out the confusion but it nearly ended in us not getting a table at all until we requested to speak to the manager who did end up seating us as well as providing a free app for the error. We were given a server who had a section clearly on the other side of the restaurant so when she finally showed up to the table she tried to rush us along stating she didn't want to forget about us, it's your job to remember. Water was barely ever refilled and because we were not ready to order when she was it took quite a while for her to return while we watched her hang out with the kitchen staff. Food was no where close to what it has been in the past, tostones are no longer homemade and quality has declined overall. We will be trying the Lakewood, to find out if this is unique to Willoughby as it appears appears be just this location. The Check also took forever, I had to find her again at the kitchen dancing in order to even pay. Management was kind but still taken a back that we even had an issue. If you are looking for Barroco or even Hola tacos this isn't it anymore! Best of luck to Pulpo Beer!

Great service. Friendly waitress. Loved their salsa and the chips were warm. Yummy. Salsa was also very tasty. We added guacamole for our chips. Healthy portion. Not a lot of meat in the tacos and a bit salty. Nothing the Bourbon lemonade cocktail couldn't cure. Trendy atmosphere along with music.

We stopped by for a date night, it was pretty dead, I think because the feast was happening. It's a cool set up and really fun wall art. Chris was our bartender, he was great, we enjoyed BS-ing with him and talking about bar experiences. We ordered regular margaritas and the condado dip (cheese and chorizo blended together as a dip) and they were great starters. The dip was so good I pretty filled up on that. I completely ordered wrong, it was one of those situations where I just panicked ordered and didn't like my order. My husband ordered the cuban with fries and said it was the best cuban (sandwich) he has ever had. I ordered the other meal he was debating the pernil arepa with a side salad. the arepa was okay, because of the format it's one of the situation where the bites are definitely not equal with filling distributed well, its like pickled onions and guac in the first 2 bites and pork the whole rest of it. The salad was okay, they only have 1 dress which is oil and lime juice and the whole thing felt incomplete but it's a side salad so who has high expectations about that? lol. After finishing our meals we took our last drinks out to the patio to enjoy, it's a really nice patio, definitely an A plus for atmosphere.

Nice place to sit out in the roof top patio. Good vibe even on an overcast day. Service was on the slow side. Not due to staffing I noticed plenty of staff. Think they were giving everyone time to converse, socialize. When we finally ordered I got the Birriarepa with yuca fries. The Arepa (pita-ish) was ok. The Birriarepa beef was great. Just fell apart east. The Yuca fries (root vegetable ?) Were great. My wife got the steak. It was not bad, it was ok. The sides were meh. Overall we had a nice time there but nothing special. Not sure if we'll be back. (Hola down stairs is completely different and the food is fantastic)

My favorite restaurant on the east side. Steak Maduro and birria tortas were amazing. Brewer did a great job on the beers.

This place made my family and I so sad. We walk in as my diabetic grandpa is on the verge of passing out, so we kindly ask if we could get a soda or anything sweet. (Of course we would have paid for it). They reply “no we can’t do that you have to be seated in order to order something”. Excuse me? Where is anyones human decency anymore. Our waitress was extremely rude and snarky and when we ordered our food we were screamed at when we wanted to take one little thing off the plate. Will definitely not be coming here again and will make sure to tell everyone around me not to either. And the food was horrible and cold.
