Cozy small breastfast place. Simple menu of traditional breakfast foods.Food was fast, seating was ample, staff were super friendly. It's one of thr places the locals eat as it has that neighborhood vibe of regulars there.Cash only.Overall I'd recommend it.

This is a nice hidden treasure. Looking for a place to eat after my eye appointment. A quick yelp search led me to this place The place is small and quaint. You know you picked a winner when people are standing out the door. I was able to get a table quick. Sitting is an elderly gentlemen, I assume is a regular, that had the most inviting smile. Another way to tell if a place is great the feel of the regulars. So one lone waitress who had the greatest smile and very attentive. I put my order in and in no time my omlete was at the table. This omlete was phenomenal. Very large and filling. That meal was so filling that lunch had to be skipped.

First visit to this small cafe. Clean restaurant with just a few tables and counter spots. Good coffee. Biscuits and gravy were great. Wife also enjoyed her bacon and eggs. Friendly service with a decent price.

Hey, I'mmmm baaaackkk!!!First of all, they say the tiktoker is the place to go now for reviews; however, I believe us true to its, still seek the yelps and googles of the world! That being said, I found this place on the yelper, and it did not disappointThe location is a lirtl tucked away, but everyone knows where it is, and you can tell who the regulars are because they are called by their names. Mary & Rob are the owners and operators of this lovely establishment, and when you enter, you are greeted warmly by all, patrons included. I met a new friend, Miss D. The decor is just as lovely as the owners. There is a place for everything and everything has its place. Some good music that dominated ge old school charts was coming through the speakers at just the perfect volume. That aided in my enjoyment.I ordered my tried and true breakfast of 2 eggs, potatoes, bacon, and an English muffin with orange juice, and it was good. I need to order one of those things to keep my eggs perfectly round when they are over medium. Next time, I would ask for everything to be cooked a tad longer. Don't get me wrong, it was to standards, and I left, not a crumb! I think I just like a little more toastiness on my bread and egg whites The ONLY negative I would say about this awesome place is...they use Hunts ketchup I mean....I'm a Heinz Girl, and I'm not going to apologize about it!!!Priced reasonably. Seats are limited, and it's CASH ONLY. But no worries, an ATM is available. I didn't take a picture of my meal because ...I was eating it!! Lolol

I love places like Crazy Egg! Clean, friendly, attractively decorated, fair pricing. Another review referred to the Crazy Egg as 'old school' which is what I love about this place. I had 2 eggs over-easy, 3 strips of bacon, home fries, rye toast, & coffee - all of which was served in a reasonable span of time, prepared as requested, reasonably proportioned, & tasted very good. Two things to consider:1. The restaurant's capacity is only 37 with 4 of those seats being at the counter. Seating may be particularly limited during peak hours or for parties of more than 4.2. Cash only. I understand merchant fees for credit cards border on being criminal but give customers the option of cash vs. credit card pricing as other restaurants do.Crazy Egg is a solid choice.---------Fellow Yelpers, if you found this review helpful, keep me motivated by taking a moment to give your rating. Thank you!

Cash only, but we'll worth it and ATM inside.Parking: Nice size lot, but if full, you're in DTW, so you may need to park a block or 2 away.

Nice people, not impressed w the food - very old school. It was fun to try and I would maybe go back but be careful what I order.

This was the worst breakfast experience I’ve ever had asked for fresh sausage and got frozen precooked. Asked to get bacon in exchange and got microwave bacon. Hot cakes taste like cardboard and the staff doesn’t know anything about the food they serve.

Been wanting to try out the Fried Bologna sandwich. It doesn't disappoint. Great service and location of the main drag of DTW. I'm planning on returning
