Drank here a couple times last summer. I appreciate the concept and atmosphere. Drinks were decent, nothing too impressive, but not bad. Not impressed with the staff, both times they were drinking behind the bar. Also, not impressed with their POS system. We tried to open a tab. They double swiped my husband’s card for some reason and our bank put a block on the transaction. They tried to make it seem like the card declined, even though it was their fault that it happened. This also happened at Dante’s place down in the flats. Very unacceptable for a supposed michelin star chef. I know this is a more casual atmosphere, but there needs to be some standard.

Been there a handful of times....and it used to be fun. A lot of the female bar tenders left, and they kinda made it fun. Now theres is a grumpy black dude and a hilarious white dude....unfortunately, the place lost its luster for me....was 5 stars, and now its 3 cuz atmosphere tanked....and they haven't been playing music like they were when they first opened.

We tried Duke and Boots for the first time last night. Decided to sit at the inside bar so we could watch the baseball game. We were the only ones at the bar, for a Saturday night at 7:30. There were two bartenders one was sitting at the end of the bar with another employee. We sat there for at least 5 minutes and we’re not even greeted, I was going to wait to see how long this was going to take but when the other bartender completely ignored us and was talking with the other employees. I asked if anyone was going to wait on us. He came over right away and was kind. Ordered drinks and food. I received silverware set up but my husband did not, I guess not included with a 21 dollar burger. They put the game on for us on all the TVs, another couple came in and wanted the hockey game on, knowing we were watching the Basketball game he changed the TV right in front of us. We asked about the pecan pie and ordered, after at least 20 minutes never got it and asked for our check. Very disappointed and I really liked the atmosphere, need to spend more time training your staff if you want to charge these prices.

Went for the first time the other night. Needless to say, it was a one and done visit. Nice atmosphere but the food needs a bit of touching up. The prices were out of this world for the food. I ordered the chicken tenders and fries … the only edible thing was the fries. Dry, burnt, no flavor despite ranch. My husband ordered the smash burger … $18 for something that could have been made at home for much better and half the price. Thought we would give the place the ole college try. Honestly, don’t see this place being open very long if they don’t change up the menu and add some flavor.

Third time here and it has definitely improved. Food is significantly better and as is the service. Our server Alex was perfect from start to finish, they made excellent recommendations, kept our drinks filled, cleared our plates once we were done with them, and gave us boxes before we even needed to ask, he definitely kept on top of it especially for a Saturday night! Highly recommend requesting Alex whenever you stop in! Overall, a huge improvement from our last visits. Looking forward to coming back and trying brunch next!
