We had the pleasure of dining at Julia’s 1902 this month. It was our first time there but definitely won’t be our last. It was perfection! The menu choices, the flavors, the ambiance, and the attention to every detail was wonderful. Our main server, Claire, was friendly and knowledgeable. She recommended the strawberry sage mocktail and it was delicious! If you haven’t yet experienced Julia’s 1902, you definitely should.

We dined at Julia’s tonight. I was floored at how good everything was. From the food to the beautiful ambience, it’s top notch! I cannot wait to go back. The history of the building is very interesting. Please go there, I never want this place to go away. Hidden gem for sure!

This is the second time we have gone and had service issues. The first time we had requested a table on the porch area one month before we got there. They put us in a room that had a large party and we got shoved into a corner of the room. We were told no table was available and watched as they seated another couple on the por about 10 minutes after we got there. We couldnt even hear each other talk. The second time we were there 10 minutes early and had a party of 7. after 20 minutes we had to send someone to the front to say we had not received any service after all this time. The issue is that you are mandated to pay a 20% tip which we would so and even more in most cases with good service. So we finally got someone to the table and we were there overly long due to the service we received.
I called and sent a text on this and they said thank you for the information and they will talk to the desk. REALLY........so will never return there........obviously they really dont care.

What a gem! We sat at the bar last night & Leo took great care of us. Great bartender + guided us through the menu & was super efficient with our apps & meals. A+ experience, capped off by the thoughtfulness of owner Mike & his wife, great place & will most definitely be back!

Everything was delicious. I love the setting, feels very welcoming and cozy. The owners came over to thank us for coming which was a really sweet gesture! The waitress asked if we wanted to bring the steak bone home for our dog which he loved!!

The food and drinks were phenomenal. The space is beautiful. Carrie was fantastic.
Julia’s 1902 has quickly become our favorite restaurant for family gatherings or just the two of us. The food is consistently interesting and perfectly cooked - steak, seafood, specials, you name it. And the staff is attentive and on top of things to ensure a great experience. The cocktail bar is gorgeous, and the renovation of the Van Gorder mansion into quaint dining areas and beautiful suites is just incredible.

Our server was Ann, who was simply a delight! We were celebrating our sister’s 70th birthday, and she was extremely attentive, and made us all feel special. The appetizers, soup, entrees & desserts were scrumptious, and one of the the highlights was when the founders Mike & Marcia came over to chat with us at our table! I will warn you it’s a bit on the pricey side, but why go downtown to the expensive places when you have a gem in Lake County equally as good. Wonderful to visit for special occasions or a first date. I told Ann I wanted to leave her a stellar review because she certainly deserved it! Cheers! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We have been wanting to experience this unique restaurant since it opened. It surpassed our expectations. Beautiful rooms and excellent food. The mushroom bruschetta was very special and the Halibut Pozole was so tasty I savored every bite. Clair was attentive ,warm and helpful.
