We’ve been there a few times in the past and food is average at best. The owners father had a great place on Rt 91 back in the day and she is still using his name even though it doesn’t have the same charm, ambiance, or food (maybe the same dated decor from the 80s? - reminds me of an elderly person’s home). They also do a weird old school table service that is awkward at best - they are not fine dining so it doesn’t really work... Was planning to go to a great family owned Italian restaurant around the corner but they closed at 8pm so we said hey, let’s try out the old girl at Mario Fazios again. It was a few minutes before 8pm when we pulled in so we checked both google and the Mario Fazio website and both state they close at 9pm so it being a few minutes before 8pm we said “why not”? We figured out why not pretty quickly…. When we walked in the owner (Lisa) was at the door sitting. Restaurant had a few people in it (it is never really busy besides the odd rush around 5-7pm for the early birds) so we were surprised that Lisa told us they were closed!?!? We asked about the closing time and she had a weird comment that it was 9pm for people that were already in (in by what time - who knows?). When I asked her what time you had to be in by she said “7:30pm was the last sitting”. When I questioned her why everything says 9pm she said she has no control over what “google” says (reminded me of old people who ask google questions, lol). Apparently she has no control over her own website either? Anyhow, plenty of other great Italian family restaurants in the area that are family run that actually don’t turn customers away during open hours. Wonder what her Dad would think of her trying to live off his name and can’t even figure out what time she advertises as being open?!?! Heard a story a long time ago about how her and her father had a terrible falling out - maybe it was true? For sure will never stop again!!!

Don’t EVER have a loved one die and place a catering order with Ann…she is unbelievably unprofessional, cold and very obviously devoid completely of compassion. When my mother decided to change the venue from the restaurant to the funeral home after my father died, Ann did not hesitate for a second to inform my mom that she lost two parties because of my mom. How totally and unbelievably inappropriate to mention to a grieving widow!!!! They have lost my respect AND my business forever. Ann, you should be so ashamed of yourself…what a horrible person you are!!!

Great food ruined by being seated next to large very noisy group. I enjoy good experiences and pay for them. That's why I drive a Mercedes and fly business or first class when available. This lunch did not qualify as a good experience.

Just a heads up to get reservations on weekends. Me and my friend got very lucky and the staff were able to squeeze us in. Delicious polenta, and we enjoyed the lemon chicken.

I placed a lunch order for me and my mother. We usually order the Mr Nicks Chicken Dinner with the Lisa Salad and the squash risotto for 27.99. We did something different today and ordered one lunch special with an upgraded Lisa salad and one lunch special with wedding soup. I was charged for one lunch special with an upgraded Lisa salad and one large wedding soup which was 32.99. When I called I was told I can order a dinner meal for 24.99 or there is nothing else they can do. I have almost paid 60.00 for a meal I could’ve got for 24.99? I love this restaurant and me and my mom eat here a lot, but this will be my last time here.

This is a go-to place for great Italian food. We have been coming here for years everytime we go to Cleveland to shop. The wedding soup is to die for, Lisa's salad is the bomb, and an all around great place for Italian food. Check 'em out, you won't be

We tried to have a family reunion dinner here. We were put in a room with other patrons. We were clearly hoping for something more private. A couple family members just wanted to stop in for 10 minutes and not eat but the restaurant wanted to charge them for simply being there. There was a problem with the preplanned dessert. Not the greatest experience.
