This is more my cats hang out than mine (Lee-Lee I’ve been going there for about 30 years off and on love it’s laid back atmosphere
If you want to close at 12 or 1 pm on a Saturday night, then post that on a sign on the door. Or hire bartenders that can stay out after dark. It really sucks to drive across town to a business that is supposed to be open, to find out it's closed early, for no reason, 4th time in the last month or two
