We came for a Christmas dinner with six ladies. That is considered a large group here. We had reservations for six at 7:00pm. We arrived on time but the table was not open. They said to come back in fifteen minutes. We walked around outside in the cold and we came back still no table. They said they would call us when the table was free. Walked around outside for another forty minutes and a table was being cleared. Still no phone call so they said we could sit at that table. They brought water and wine orders to us. They didn’t take our food order for another half an hour. We all ordered pizza to keep it simple. Side salad for $9.00 was a handful of bagged arugula with three slim pieces of white cheese and one cherry tomato. For this price they could have at least added one black olive. Took another hour to get our food which was cold and toppings not cooked. I left two pieces of pizza on the pan and the waiter threw it out. Never asked if I wanted a box. While we were eating they dimmed the lights. Apparently that was a hint they were closing. The waiter comes back and hands one person the check. We asked for separate checks. He says “we don’t separate checks for groups of six or more. It’s on the menu”. Well if we could read the small print in the dark but this was not anywhere where it was obvious. After some debate he says “I will do it this time. But I won’t do it again”. He charged me an additional $2.00 for the cold pizza. Added a 20% gratuity because we had a group of six. I don’t mind paying for good service. But the servers were rude and wanted to end their day. They offered us two apps for having to wait. It was enough for two people. The cheese on the board was cut so small a mouse could have picked it up and ate it. I am sorry after reading the great reviews. Very disappointed.

We have been returning to this place since we found it about a year ago. Food is delicious and service is always great. The restaurant it self is tight, especially the table near the kitchen, but other than that it’s a great place. Everyone we have taken here loves it. We will be returning.

One of my top picks for dining out in Downtown Willoughby is definitely Pranzo. The ambiance, cuisine, selection of wines, and level of service never fail to impress. Personally, I can't get enough of their chicken Marsala, chicken Parmesan, and the delightful burrata cheese appetizer. Trust me, Pranzo is the real deal - I highly recommend it every time!

One of our favorite restaurants! We visited Italy in May and are impressed with the authentic Italian recipes Pranzo is serving. The specials meals are always a hit. We loved the butternut squash ravioli and eggplant rollatini specials. The pizza is always tasty too. Patio in the summer is beautiful. They also offer to-go ordering.
